Where do I start…the most beautiful venue, staff, wedding coordinators, accommodation, suppliers EVERYTHING! We got married in September 2024 and had 66 guests stay the night before and the night after the wedding. It was everything we wished for and more! Robyn was our wedding coordinator, she made our whole experience so easy to plan, she was so informative and so relatable too! She was truly perfect. We had Ladybirds as our photographer and he was fantastic! Could not recommend him enough too! Overall, it was the best day of our lives and would highly recommend to anyone. A lot of our guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. A huge thank you to everyone involved!

Best day of our lives. The venue was incredible, all the accommodation was just a dream and to have everybody on site for a whole weekend made it that extra bit special.

The food was to die for and all the guest complimented on how good the food was. The team on the day were excellent and the service standards were top-notch.

The venue was really flexible when it came to how we could use it what supplies we used and cater to my own vision as the bride.

Whilst the venue is certainly not cheap, it was worth every penny. The only critique I have was that I think as the bride and groom, we should’ve been given a free barbecue for the weekend rather than being charged £40 considering we hired the whole venue and every accommodation you had on site. - little sweeteners like that make people feel more valued than you know.

The communication from the team from booking the venue to the wedding day was second and none any question or query was always answered within 24 hours. I do think you should try and keep the same coordinator who’s dealing with the wedding throughout up until the very end as it just makes it a little bit more special as you’ve built up a report with that person.

Finally, you won’t be disappointed if you book this venue it really does make your wedding dream come true.

The whole Hidden River Barn team were incredible. Our wedding day was absolutely magical and we could not have asked for a more perfect wedding. Our wedding coordinator Robyn was impeccable, kept everyone and everything to time and made the whole day work seamlessly. The staff were lovely, helpful and a joy to have around us on the day. From us booking the venue through to the day, Robyn and the team have always been on hand to answer any questions or queries.

The most magical wedding venue imaginable – Hidden River Barn

Where do we even begin? From the very first moment we booked our wedding at Hidden River Barn last January, everything has been absolutely faultless. The entire team has been exceptional, their communication, professionalism, and genuine warmth have made the whole journey effortless and exciting. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and every detail has been handled with such care and love.

Our wedding day was beyond anything we could have dreamed of. Every element felt completely personal to us, you can tell that every wedding here is treated as a unique celebration, and that’s what makes Hidden River Barn so special.

We had our whole wedding party stay in the on-site accommodation, and every single guest was blown away. The cabins/cottages and houses are simply breathtakingly luxurious, cosy, and finished to perfection, with every comfort you could wish for. It felt like our own private countryside haven.

The food… wow! Absolutely incredible. It was totally tailored to us, full of flavour, beautifully presented exactly how we visioned. Guests are still talking about how amazing it was!

And we have to give a huge shoutout to Robyn, who is truly one of a kind. Her calming presence, infectious enthusiasm, and incredible organisation made the entire process a dream. She genuinely loves what she does, and it shines through in everything. She made us feel so supported and special from start to finish.

We honestly wish we could do it all over again. Hidden River Barn isn’t just a venue, it’s an experience, a feeling, a little piece of wedding heaven. If we could give it ten stars, we would. In our opinion, it’s the best wedding venue in the UK. The perfect blend of fun, country charm, and pure luxury. It captured our personalities perfectly, and we’ll cherish those memories forever.

Hidden River Barn is truly the most special venue! We were lucky enough to get married here in June 2024 and had the most amazing weekend with all our favourite people. To have all our guests stay on site and able to celebrate both the evening before and the day after made our weekend everything we could have hoped for and more.
All of our guests commented on how beautiful a venue it was. The food all weekend was unreal (something else all our guests commented on) & all the staff were amazing. Our coordinator Robyn was the best cheerleader while helping plan, offering help with suppliers and ideas. No question/request was too silly or too small.

The moment we drove onto the Hidden River site we became obsessed. It is truly the most magical place. After visiting the barn we knew we just couldn’t get married anywhere else! Robyn, our co-ordinator, was so welcoming and so invested in making our day amazing. We felt so special!
All of the staff really share your excitement and you can tell they have a real passion for what they do.
The few days we spent at hidden river for our wedding were just the most incredible days, we already can’t wait to be back!! It was so peaceful and felt like a home away from home. All of our guests were thrilled with their accommodation and really settled into cabin life!
The food was outstanding- we are massive foodies and love a cheeky Michelin meal and this was absolutely Michelin standard. Everything about this venue was perfection and it really felt like it was all ours!

We booked a viewing at Hidden River Barn to see about getting married there and it was the first and only venue we went to!
We fell in love with it as soon as we seen it, stunning barn, gorgeous surroundings, all the accommodation was perfect and we loved that we could offer all of our guests to stay on the site. From booking the venue to right up until the wedding day, Hidden River made it so easy with their excel wedding planner that gets sent over to fill in and complete and our personal wedding coordinator (Robyn) was always on hand to answer any questions, suggest other suppliers where needed and on the day she was amazing with helping everything run perfectly, (she even went back to my cabin mid wedding and got my straighteners to re-curl my fringe 🤣).
I couldn’t recommend Hidden River Barn enough, our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more! We are back next year for our friends wedding and I already can’t wait to be back and be a guest there!

Honestly could not recommend this venue more. The space is breathtaking and nothing like I’ve seen before, it made decorating it so easy as we could keep it to the minimum and let the venue do all the work.

From the beginning, the venue does the work for you, we were sent a list of vendors and every single one that we booked from the recommendations was faultless. Our wedding coordinator Robyn then made the whole process and seamless.

Even the lodges that everyone stayed in were absolutely stunning and everyone just wishes we could’ve stayed for longer to enjoy it all.

On the day Robyn was so helpful with helping me with last minute changes and arranging people to come to the cabin to take any pressure away from me, she then helped me throughout the day and even saved us canapes and a drink whilst we had our photos taken. This small touch meant so much as we were so busy that I am sad to think if Robyn didn’t do this for us we wouldn’t have got to experience the amazing canapés, especially the pork belly! All the over food was also gorgeous and perfect for a June wedding.

The hidden river barn will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you to the whole team.

Honestly I couldn’t recommend Hidden River enough. We did the 3 night package and for what we paid it was SO worth it! Every single guest said how amazing the venue was & the accommodation, lots of comments that it was the best they’d ever been to!
Right from the start when we met Robyn we just fell in love, we actually never even viewed another venue as we knew nowhere else would compare. Communication throughout was amazing, getting responses back usually same day, or if not it would be next day. The planning calls were so helpful too - really put us at ease.
Then for the wedding itself every single member of staff was fabulous! So calming& positive which is exactly what we needed throughout the weekend. Nothing was too much to ask and they were so accommodating. It really was perfect and I would absolutely LOVE to be able to go a wedding there as a guest one day because it’s just so special.
Would do it again in a heart beat!

We got married at this absolutely wonderful place in September this year! And boy it did not disappoint! The venue is absolutely stunning and so are the log cabins! You instantly switch off when you drive onto the grounds!
The place is so well run, nothing is ever too much trouble! Robyn was our wedding coordinator and she was just amazing! From all our phone conversations leading up to the wedding all the time she spent giving us ideas and recommendations! To our actual 2 day wedding she was always around checking in! On the day before the ceremony she was so supportive and calming! And I never had an empty have she was always putting a glass of champagne in it! Which was a lovely touch! As you’re so busy talking to guests you can never get to the bar! The food was absolutely outstanding! From the bbq the night before to the canapés to the Italian sharing wedding breakfast to our street food in the evening! The guests were complementing the food continuously throughout the day!

The on-site accommodation was absolutely stunning and made the whole experience so much more relaxed for us and our guests, knowing everyone could stay together. The team were amazing from start to finish and made sure everything ran smoothly. I’d do our wedding day there ten times over if I could — it truly was the most magical day in the most perfect setting. 💍✨

Our wedding at Hidden River Barn was absolutely perfect, everything ran so smoothly thanks to the amazing and professional team. Even living in Dubai, communication was effortless and every detail was handled beautifully from start to finish.

My wife and I have just got married at Hidden river cabins on 20th March 2025 and we had the most amazing time. The day itself went perfect from start to finish and this is massively down to the Wedding team. Their communication for us was just the right amount that didn't have the feeling that they were imposing but was enough to assure you they had everything under control. They have worked so hard from start to end and we want to thank every single one of them.

We had the restaurant food served in foxglove cabin where we got married and ate on beautifully arranged tables. The food was very nice, as were the canapés, so a massive thanks to the chefs for their efforts.

The cabins themselves are incredible. They are very large and look amazing inside and out. The views off the back of both foxglove and bluebell cabin (which between our whole family we had both) were breathtaking and was probably the main reason we decided to book the place. With the glorious weather we had on the day, this gave us the perfect wedding and has caused some brilliant photos to be captured. The hot tub at the back of the cabins is so nice to relax in and just enjoy the views too.

We had a wander down the road past some of the other cabins and found further stunning scenery by the river and we also saw a couple of deer walking about.

Hidden river cabins suited what we wanted perfectly with it being a location for a small wedding in an amazing location with great food and we are so pleased that we chose this place for our special day.

I have been delivering wedding ceremonies here since 2022 and absolutely love the team here. They just get how I work and I get them so it makes everything seamless on the big day.

The venue lends itself to the perfect wedding ceremony with a jaw dropping window for your ceremony space or wonderful cabins for the smaller, more intimate ceremony. I would not hesitate in recommending this venue, expecially for expats who need to accommodate travelling guests for a few days.
