Where do I start…the most beautiful venue, staff, wedding coordinators, accommodation, suppliers EVERYTHING! We got married in September 2024 and had 66 guests stay the night before and the night after the wedding. It was everything we wished for and more! Robyn was our wedding coordinator, she made our whole experience so easy to plan, she was so informative and so relatable too! She was truly perfect. We had Ladybirds as our photographer and he was fantastic! Could not recommend him enough too! Overall, it was the best day of our lives and would highly recommend to anyone. A lot of our guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. A huge thank you to everyone involved!

My wife and I have just got married at Hidden river cabins on 20th March 2025 and we had the most amazing time. The day itself went perfect from start to finish and this is massively down to the Wedding team. Their communication for us was just the right amount that didn't have the feeling that they were imposing but was enough to assure you they had everything under control. They have worked so hard from start to end and we want to thank every single one of them.

We had the restaurant food served in foxglove cabin where we got married and ate on beautifully arranged tables. The food was very nice, as were the canapés, so a massive thanks to the chefs for their efforts.

The cabins themselves are incredible. They are very large and look amazing inside and out. The views off the back of both foxglove and bluebell cabin (which between our whole family we had both) were breathtaking and was probably the main reason we decided to book the place. With the glorious weather we had on the day, this gave us the perfect wedding and has caused some brilliant photos to be captured. The hot tub at the back of the cabins is so nice to relax in and just enjoy the views too.

We had a wander down the road past some of the other cabins and found further stunning scenery by the river and we also saw a couple of deer walking about.

Hidden river cabins suited what we wanted perfectly with it being a location for a small wedding in an amazing location with great food and we are so pleased that we chose this place for our special day.

I have been delivering wedding ceremonies here since 2022 and absolutely love the team here. They just get how I work and I get them so it makes everything seamless on the big day.

The venue lends itself to the perfect wedding ceremony with a jaw dropping window for your ceremony space or wonderful cabins for the smaller, more intimate ceremony. I would not hesitate in recommending this venue, expecially for expats who need to accommodate travelling guests for a few days.

I don’t know where to begin. We had the best day of our lives getting married at Hidden River. Robyn and the team made everything enjoyable and simple to plan and the day exceeded all of our expectations!
Firstly the barn itself is stunning and so different. All of our guests commented on this. The food and drinks were excellent, service was amazing from the friendly staff on the day and it’s a great set up for a party in the evening! Wish we could do it all again!
The pricing is also very reasonable which is a massive plus!

We had our intimate wedding at Hidden River Cabins on 24.10.2024 in Foxglove Cabin with our families. The day was perfect and we couldn't have asked for more (we even had a sunny wedding day in October!)

The staff have been amazing leading up to the day and on the day, even setting up some of my own decor the morning of. The food was incredible and nothing was too much trouble.

Thank you for making our wedding day all we ever dreamed of. Our families haven't stopped talking about it since we returned and we are already planning on returning together!

My husband and I were fortunate enough to get married at Hidden River Barn last month. The day itself was absolutely beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for more. Before we’d even considered anything it was already done and it made the whole event so much more relaxed and enjoyable. All of our guests were so complimentary about the venue and the accommodation, which really is stunning.

From the moment we booked the wedding the whole planning process was made so easy - were guided at every step of the way. All of the staff were so responsive and accommodating and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Special mention to our fantastic wedding co-ordinator, Gillian, who listened to everything we wanted and made our vision come to life.

If you’re considering booking Hidden River for your wedding, just do it. We never once doubted it.

We planned our wedding within 6 months due to personal reasons and Hidden River dealt with it perfectly! There was no pressure, everything was organised in a perfect spreadsheet, Robyn was amazing and understood every sensitive aspect about our wedding! It was so personal and incredible. Wish we could do it again!

The most amazing wedding, from start to finish Robyn and the team have been incredible. Every question, worry, stress was no problem for them and they made sure that everything was perfect. They allowed us to personalise our wedding, from the food, to the drinks choices, and made the planning of a 3 day event easy. The setting is out of this world, romantic, intimate, and all guests couldn’t get over how amazing it was. Guests also commented about the food, that they have never had food that good at a wedding! The quality was the same as any high end restaurant! I cannot thank Hidden River enough for giving us the wedding of our dreams

We cannot recommended Hidden River enough - it ticked every single one of our boxes as a beautiful, exclusive wedding venue that was equal parts outdoorsy and high-end. The barn space needs no explanation as to how stunning it is and its two-story functionality meant our entire day, from pre-ceremony drinks all the way till end of the night partying, happened seamlessly. The venue is so unique that it can accommodate all wedding guests, and its remoteness allows tour wedding weekend to feel extra special and private, off grid personal out in nature with all your family, friends and guests 💖 we had an exception wedding planner Robyn - who went above and beyond every step of the way to bring all of our ideas and dreams into fruition. Robyn had excellent communication and organisation, and helped not only in the lad up but also on the day to help with our timeline without a hitch.

We had our wedding at Hidden River over the course of a weekend on 9th September 2023. We cannot recommend this venue, the food, the setting, the staff etc. enough. It was all amazing and exceeded our expectations consistently. Robyn was our wedding planner and she was honestly the most organised and trustworthy wedding planner ever - whilst also being supremely chilled and calm in her approach as well. Also just a really genuinely lovely person too! We felt so looked after by Robyn and also felt the whole team really cared about our experience and our guests. Robyn went the extra mile in every aspect of the experience from start to finish. We will be grateful to her for her work always. All of our guests commented on how welcomed and looked after they felt over the course of our weekend and also how unique our wedding felt compared to other venues that provide the same formulaic service for each couple. The approach at hidden river is homely and comfortable whilst also maintaining the highest standards of service. This is what made it the perfect venue for us, as we wanted a wedding venue that was truly stunning but that wasn’t intimidating, and felt like ‘us’ but was of the highest quality. In the planning stage, the hidden river team also went the extra mile to help our wedding feel unique to us as well making little thoughtful tweaks and coming up with little ideas that made (what is a very stressful time) feel smooth and seamless. They also responded to all my queries and questions via email really quickly - I never felt like I was chasing or waiting for information. We had our ceremony on the upper level of the barn with about 90 people and it was beautiful in front of the big window and everyone could still hear our ceremony clearly. The food was absolutely delicious and their catering options would suit all. We also had a large amount of our guests staying on site and they all raved about the accommodation and also the setting in it’s beautiful rural location. They also have a great list of recommended suppliers. All of the suppliers work together with each other frequently and get on really well so it really does feel like a team of lovely people looking after you across the board. Everything was 10/10 and we feel very lucky to have had such an amazing weekend there celebrating our love with all of our loved ones. Thank you Hidden River!

Everything about Hidden River is outstanding. From the food and accommodation to the coordinators and seemless planning.

Every guest was amazed by the venue. The bar staff were highly commendable and the food was unbelievable. Laura did the best job in coordinating with all of our suppliers to ensure the day was smooth.

Wow, just wow. We found Hidden River Barn and its cabins by chance and fell in love with the place. It was quirky and just what we were looking for for our wedding. The staff were faultless, they were attentive and listened to what we wanted, all our guests were looked after, and everyone was impressed with both the venue and the staff. The accommodation was simply incredible with the spacious luxurious rooms, hot tubs and log burners. 

Moving onto the food, we had so many compliments regarding the canapés, wedding breakfast and the evening fish & chips. They all tasted fantastic, special thanks to Chef Jonny for delivering on the food, you did an amazing job!
Working with our wedding Co-ordinator Robyn was brilliant from start to finish. She went above and beyond to create the most exquisite, stylish and design-orientated wedding and made the entire experience joyful and stress-free. She’s easy going with a kind and patient manner and always so responsive and helpful (sorry for all the emails!) We knew we could trust her with our special day, thank you Robyn! We were lucky enough to get married here in May 2024 & if you are looking for a wedding venue look no further! We had a 2 night stay with our family and friends which was the perfect way to start & end our wedding celebrations. The accommodation is one of the best we have stayed in and location and setting of the full place is unbelievably beautiful! The hidden river barn is absolutely amazing & the staff were fantastic, Laura was our wedding coordinator and from the day we booked the venue she had been nothing but supportive, professional , helpful and on the other end of the phone when ever we needed her. Our wedding day ran perfectly and it was everything we could have ever dreamed of and more! We can’t recommend Hidden River highly enough! It was the best day ❤️

I cannot recommend Hidden River enough, from the planning to the day they were amazing. It was slightly harder to plan as we are over 200 miles away from the venue, but every time I emailed, phoned or messaged they were so quick to respond and made me feel so relaxed about the process. On the day, everything went off without a hitch and Gillian ran the day so smoothly. Honestly, it felt so easy on the day and we really didn't have to think about a thing. I throughly enjoyed spending a few days a Hidden River and would highly recommend taking advantage of the lack of phone signal (it was so nice to have no messages constantly pinging through over the 3 days). All our guests were amazed with the place and had the best few days celebrating with us.

We will be coming back here every year for our anniversary for sure.
