Wow! What can we say. What a place. From our first visit to the venues wedding fayre all the way through to our Wedding day it has been perfect. Nothing is too much trouble for Anastasija, she answered all our queries efficiently and guided us when we asked for her opinion, in the planning stages. On the day she ensured everything ran seamlessly from one part of the day to the next. Always appearing friendly, calm and professional. It has been a pleasure to have her involved in our wedding. The venue is beautiful and was the perfect size for what we had in mind. The setting is beautiful, with well kept grounds and views for miles. The bedrooms were modern, clean and comfortable. We got a fabulous night's sleep in the comfy bed before our big day. Every member of staff we have encountered, be it at planning meetings or on the big day itself, have been friendly, approachable and professional. Dealing with any queries efficiently. The food is amazing, we stayed in the hotel the night before, so we sampled the restaurant menu, which was beautiful. There were 11 of us and everyone loved their choice. They set the standards high for our expectations of the wedding breakfast and they did not disappoint. Every course was perfect, we've received many comments from our guests about how nice the food was. We cannot fault anything, it is the perfect venue, with amazing staff.

The Moorlands was the perfect venue for our wedding! From the start, Molly and Megan were helpful and professional. Everything we wanted they accommodated, including changing the alcohol available and nothing was too much to ask. They made the venue look beautiful and the day ran perfectly. The staff were attentive and professional to all our guests. Everyone commented on how delicious the food was and they really looked after our dietary requirements - even brining them their own canapés, which was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend the venue!

The Gameskeeper’s inn is the most incredible venue to have your wedding. The venue itself is just an incredible place surrounded by the gorgeous Yorkshire dales. The staff were absolutely fantastic and couldn’t be more helpful big shout out to Angela , Chris and Harriet for all your amazing hard work and helping us to create the wedding of our dreams. The food was just incredible as well. Once again would very highly this venue for anyone wanting to get married in Yorkshire, it is an absolute gem.

We recently had our wedding held at Holmfield Arms and I honestly can’t express how perfect our day was! The venue is stunning surrounded by gorgeous greenery and is so serene! The team and Laura really went above and beyond for us and ensured our day was as perfect as can be. Laura made our dreams come true and tailored the day to our needs to ensure our day was exactly how we envisioned and her communication was fantastic! She really made sure everything went smoothly during the day and her fabulous team took care of everything for us, we didn’t have to worry about a thing as they made the order of the day run seamlessly. I can’t praise Laura highly enough, she really helped me with planning the day down to the smallest detail, even rehearsing walking down the aisle with me so I knew at what point I needed to start walking during my entrance song so I reached my groom at the right lyrics in the song! We had a buffet for our wedding breakfast with breakfast rolls for the evening and the food was delicious, our guests commented how great the food was! It was fantastic having the hotel on site as well as we could meet our guests the next morning for breakfast which again, was delicious. I wish we could have our day all over again, if we had our chance again I would still choose the Holmfield Arms for our venue in a heartbeat!

My husband and I got married at The Chapter Hall 27/06/2026. We wish there was an option for 100 stars! From the moment we stepped into The Chapter Hall a year and a half ago, we instantly fell in love. The building itself is bursting charm and the coolest vibes, but also the warmth that comes from the team and how much they genuinely love what where they work. We met Liz at a wedding fair, and similarly fell instantly in love with her and her infectious, sunshine self. She was there with a supportive answer for every question throughout the whole process, and couldn’t have done more for us on the lead up to the wedding, including giving us the BEST supplier recommendations. On our actual wedding day, Liz and the team at The Chapter Hall were invaluable and made our wedding the more joyous day of our lives. Even more of a bonus is she’s a beast on the dance floor too!!! They worked tirelessly(on a scorcher of a day), keeping us all hydrated to make it the best day possible and all of our guests couldn’t say enough amazing things about them. From the bottom of our hearts we can’t thank Liz and everyone at The Chaptet Hall enough, we LOVE YOU!! xxxxx

We had our wedding at Stone Trough Inn last week and we could not recommend it highly enough! Philippa was excellent in the planning stage, no request too big or small. You can really make your wedding your own. The decorations were perfect and totally in fitting with our colours and flowers. We went for the upgraded buffet which exceeded our expectations- several guests said it was the best wedding food they had ever had! The evening food (we chose pies, pasties and pickles) also went down an absolute treat! Philippa was brilliant on the day itself and made the whole day run smoothly! All of the staff at Stone Trough were so nice, friendly and professional. The pub itself is great with a lovely outside space, great view and is close enough to Kirkham Abbey to take photos there! We had the perfect day, would absolutely recommend Stone Trough for a wedding!! 💖

The most beautiful venue in one of the most beautiful villages. The Barn itself is beautiful without any decor but we were able to add our own touch to the venue/tables and it was perfect. Glenn was helpful from the start and always there to answer any queries. Everyone complimented how nice the food was and how nice the venue was. Wouldn't get a better looking venue at an amazing price. Thank you for helping us make our dream wedding come true. Many thanks Katie & Gareth

From the moment we walked in and saw the perfect place for our wedding and met Debbie and her team we were sold. Our March wedding in the magical Yurt and wedding breakfast in the Bridge room was everything we had wished for. Debbie could not have been more helpful and attentive from our initial discussions and planning, right through to chatting with us and our guests the next morning at breakfast. With 60 guests in the day and 90 at night, everyone was catered for with care and attention. Our wedding meal was so plentiful and delicious, with every guest commenting on how fabulous it was. The little bites in the evening (not little in the least) were loved by all. The Yurt in the evening, with the amazing decoration from Jo (she understood just what we wanted) was the perfect after party setting. We were blessed with great weather and a beautiful golden hour for photos, with Debbie adding our requests with no trouble or at short notice. We can't thank Debbie and the team enough for making our day full of wonderful memories ❤️

We held our wedding reception at The Inn, and it was the absolute perfect setting. From the moment we toured, the staff made us feel like family. The staff were phenomenal; very responsive to every nervous email and provided invaluable advice on logistics. On the day, they smoothed over a last-minute seating change without us even noticing, allowing us to just be present and happy. The food was incredible—our guests had nothing but compliments. Highly recommend this venue, if you wish to have a beautiful wedding, book them!
