Wow! What can we say. What a place. From our first visit to the venues wedding fayre all the way through to our Wedding day it has been perfect. Nothing is too much trouble for Anastasija, she answered all our queries efficiently and guided us when we asked for her opinion, in the planning stages. On the day she ensured everything ran seamlessly from one part of the day to the next. Always appearing friendly, calm and professional. It has been a pleasure to have her involved in our wedding. The venue is beautiful and was the perfect size for what we had in mind. The setting is beautiful, with well kept grounds and views for miles. The bedrooms were modern, clean and comfortable. We got a fabulous night's sleep in the comfy bed before our big day. Every member of staff we have encountered, be it at planning meetings or on the big day itself, have been friendly, approachable and professional. Dealing with any queries efficiently. The food is amazing, we stayed in the hotel the night before, so we sampled the restaurant menu, which was beautiful. There were 11 of us and everyone loved their choice. They set the standards high for our expectations of the wedding breakfast and they did not disappoint. Every course was perfect, we've received many comments from our guests about how nice the food was. We cannot fault anything, it is the perfect venue, with amazing staff.

We chose this venue while working with a tight budget, and we couldn’t believe the value for money. So many extras were included and the beautiful setting really made it feel special from the start. Our guests thought we had spent twice as much as we had. By the time we added our own personal touches the space felt completely us. The food was absolutely outstanding and every single guest commented on how delicious it was and how generous the portions were. It is a very spacious venue and we only had 64 during the day and 140 for the evening but it never felt empty. In the lead up to the big day, we had a few moments of uncertainty as we had a very specific vision in mind, and we weren’t sure how everything would come together. But on the day itself, the team were amazing. They went above and beyond to make everything run perfectly. Even though everything was DIY, they were incredibly helpful - from setting up the day before to switching décor throughout the day, nothing was too much trouble. I honestly wish I could do the whole day again. It was absolutely perfect, and so much of that is down to the venue and the team. We’re so grateful, it was better than we ever could have imagined.

We recently had our wedding held at Holmfield Arms and I honestly can’t express how perfect our day was! The venue is stunning surrounded by gorgeous greenery and is so serene! The team and Laura really went above and beyond for us and ensured our day was as perfect as can be. Laura made our dreams come true and tailored the day to our needs to ensure our day was exactly how we envisioned and her communication was fantastic! She really made sure everything went smoothly during the day and her fabulous team took care of everything for us, we didn’t have to worry about a thing as they made the order of the day run seamlessly. I can’t praise Laura highly enough, she really helped me with planning the day down to the smallest detail, even rehearsing walking down the aisle with me so I knew at what point I needed to start walking during my entrance song so I reached my groom at the right lyrics in the song! We had a buffet for our wedding breakfast with breakfast rolls for the evening and the food was delicious, our guests commented how great the food was! It was fantastic having the hotel on site as well as we could meet our guests the next morning for breakfast which again, was delicious. I wish we could have our day all over again, if we had our chance again I would still choose the Holmfield Arms for our venue in a heartbeat!

Me and my partner got married at the Stone Trough Inn on Nov 8th and I cant recommend the venue enough. From day 1 to the big day, Phillipa and her staff couldnt do enough for us. We had multiple meeting at the Stone Trough to discuss any issues we had and all our queries were always met with positivity and solutions. The location of the venue was perfect for the intimate wedding we wanted. It is a beautiful countryside venue to match the views surrounding it. The big days itself couldnt have gone any smoother and thats all down to the great work of Phillipa and her team. They completely decorated the entire venue in the morning with the decorations we provided allowing myself and my partner to enjoy our mornings apart and prepare for the day ahead. (The execution of the decorations was perfection). The Wedding breakfast and food for the evening was incredible. Even though our wedding was a few months ago now we still get family and friends labelling it as 'the best wedding food they have had'. The staff on the day were more than accommodating, they genuinely felt like part of the celebrations and by the end of the night ended up knowing most of the guests by there first name which set a really nice vibe. Phillipa and her team constantly checked in on me and my now wife to make sure we were having the best day possible and didn't need anything. The Stone Trough has become more than a wedding venue for us. Due to amazing experience we had, we now see the Stone Trough Inn as more of a tradition. A place we look forward to visiting many more more times in the future. The Venue, staff and food were 10/10. Can't recommend enough.

From the moment we walked in and saw the perfect place for our wedding and met Debbie and her team we were sold. Our March wedding in the magical Yurt and wedding breakfast in the Bridge room was everything we had wished for. Debbie could not have been more helpful and attentive from our initial discussions and planning, right through to chatting with us and our guests the next morning at breakfast. With 60 guests in the day and 90 at night, everyone was catered for with care and attention. Our wedding meal was so plentiful and delicious, with every guest commenting on how fabulous it was. The little bites in the evening (not little in the least) were loved by all. The Yurt in the evening, with the amazing decoration from Jo (she understood just what we wanted) was the perfect after party setting. We were blessed with great weather and a beautiful golden hour for photos, with Debbie adding our requests with no trouble or at short notice. We can't thank Debbie and the team enough for making our day full of wonderful memories ❤️

From the moment we arrived we knew we had made the right choice having our reception with The Inn. Nothing was too much of a problem, fulfilling any requests from our guests. The food was amazing- great quality, tasty and absolutely MASSIVE portions! The service was impeccable! Everything ran smoothly from the very first email to ask if they could accommodate our request right up to the end of the day. The table was laid perfectly and the grounds are absolutely gorgeous. We got some of the best wedding photos with all the romantic lighting in the background. We had 8 young children within the party and they enjoyed the swing and big chair as well as running around/hiding under tables/behind curtains. The staff didn't once complain about them which I have to say, we have come across elsewhere. We felt welcomed in open arms from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Absolutely no complaints!
