We had our wedding at Lodge Farm, Cundall on 15th November 2025, with 52 day guests and around 50 evening guests, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish.

The venue itself is stunning. The separate ceremony barn and reception barn are beautifully maintained, full of character, and set within a peaceful countryside location that gives the day a truly magical feel. There’s so much natural space and ambience, and everything was spotless. Our food was provided by one of Lodge Farm’s recommended caterers and was exceptional, helped by the excellent on-site kitchen facilities.

From the moment we first visited, Jen, the owner, was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making our day special. We felt at ease straight away.

A huge part of what made the day run so smoothly was Kirsty, the wedding director. She met with us several times in the lead-up, explained the timings and flow of the day, checked we were happy with everything, and even contacted all of our suppliers ahead of time to make sure plans were aligned. On the day itself, she was outstanding—calm, organised, and quietly guiding guests (and us!) exactly where they needed to be without ever feeling intrusive.

Will, the bar manager, was also fantastic. We had a bespoke drinks menu, and he went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect and that guests had exactly what they wanted. He was friendly, helpful, and really approachable throughout the evening.

We also want to mention Caroline, who was absolutely fantastic throughout the day. She made sure the accommodation was spotless and perfectly set up, kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes, and even coordinated things so that Laura and I didn’t see each other before meeting the registrar. She went above and beyond to help Laura get from A to B discreetly and comfortably, making the whole experience feel seamless. Her attention to detail and calm, reassuring presence made such a difference to our day.

The on-site accommodation for 14 people, right opposite the reception barn, is finished to an incredibly high standard and really has the “wow” factor. It made everything so easy and added an extra special touch to the whole experience. The accommodation also includes a beautiful bridal suite, which was perfect for Laura and the bridesmaids to get ready in. It has plenty of natural light—ideal for hair and makeup—and even features its own upstairs area with a stunning roll-top bath. It was the perfect space for a relaxed, enjoyable start to the day and end to the evening.

Overall, our entire day ran flawlessly thanks to the amazing team at Lodge Farm. We couldn’t have wished for anything better and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautifully run barn wedding venue with exceptional staff and service.

Myself and my wife got married at Lodge Farm in July (2025). We cannot recommend this venue enough, the whole team are absolutely incredible and bent over backwards to make our day the day we dreamed of. In particular, Kirsty was an absolute life saver. She was so present throughout, always at the end of the phone and ready to ease the nerves and answer any questions we had. Our wedding day was the perfect day we dreamt of because of the team at Lodge Farm…the gorgeous venue helps of course but it’s the team that we owe thanks to…without them our wedding day wouldn’t have been half as special!

Where do we begin? What a wonderful day we had at Lodge Farm in June for our wedding and what a fantastic venue and team they have put together.

The venue itself is in a beautiful setting in the quiet village of Cundall with sweeping views toward the Hambleton Hills. The ceremony barn is a beautiful and atmospheric brick building and a unique place for a wedding ceremony. The modern reception barn attached is purpose built to provide all the facilities that you need for a wedding reception and evening party. Add to this the five star accommodation for up to 14 people and the stunning courtyard for drinks and canapés, and you have the perfect location for a wedding celebration.

The team could not be friendlier or more welcoming. We were made to feel that the success our wedding was the only thing that mattered to them. From the initial enquiry stage to final delivery, their communication levels and professionalism were of the highest standard, without losing any of the personal touch of a family run business.

We loved working with Kirsty, who co-ordinated the wedding, and Will, the bar manager, both of whom made us feel very relaxed that everything was under control. They placed great emphasis on ensuring that the schedule for the day was agreed by all parties and was as relaxed as possible, to ensure that the event ran smoothly. We had several meetings to discuss plans for the day, and nothing seemed too much for them to deal with. For example, we had to make various changes to the table plans and drinks packages in the run up to the wedding, but Kirsty and Will took everything in their stride and made us feel confident that everything would be fine on the day.

Our confidence was not misplaced and, on the day, Kirsty made sure that everything went according to plan and that we had nothing to worry about other than to have a fantastic and memorable day. Will and the bar team worked hard to ensure that everyone was adequately refreshed. The weather forecast for the day was not the best, but they seemed to have contingency plans for all eventualities, which took the pressure off the wedding party on the day. The day really couldn’t have gone any better and the team and the venue played such vital role in providing the backdrop for such a memorable occasion.

The decision to hold our wedding at Lodge Farm Weddings was one of the best we have ever made. I would not hesitate to recommend Lodge Farm Weddings to anybody planning a wedding. A big thank you Kirsty, Will, Jen, Rob, Christine and all the staff on the day for being an integral part of our special day.

Lodge Farm was everything we could have asked for and more! The venue is stunning, the staff (Jen, Rob, Kirsty, Will and Caroline to name a few) are so incredibly kind, helpful and patient. Any time we contacted someone from Lodge Farm we got an answer quickly and no question was silly to them. Kirsty in particular made sure the day went without a hitch and she went throught everything we could expect from the day clearly, she made sure everything happened on time and that meant we didn't have to worry about a thing. We got married at Lodge Farm in May 2024 and had the absolute best day! We viewed the venue on a wet and gloomy November day and instantly fell in love with the gorgeous buildings and grounds. Jen, Rob and Kirsty were an absolute pleasure to work with and responded really quickly to any questions which we had. They checked in regularly along the process and really helped to ensure that we didn't forget about anything. Everything ran really smoothly on the day (even when the weather wasn't quite playing ball!) and we could not recommend the venue more, thank you again to the team for making our day so special!

Where do we start....We truly had the best day of lives to date at Lodge Farm! Starting from setting up the reception barn and ceremony barn with our families the day before, where Kirsty, Will and Caroline were on hand to answer any last minute questions and go through how our day will run the day after, which really put us at ease. Then our wedding day which was ran so smoothly by Kirsty the venue coordinator who allowed us to be present in the moment as she organised all our entrances and supported with the music throughout the day. Will the bar manager was just amazing not only did he make us what ever drink we wanted after the ceremony so me and Oli could take a breather and spend a moment together as a married couple, but he also managed the bar throughout the day and evening and always had a smile on his face.
The venue space itself it just perfect from the private courtyard so all our guests could mingle, drink and eat canapés, to the main reception barn, which has character but beautifully styled and holds a large amount of guests with a big dance floor!
Finally the accommodation where up 14 guests can stay the day before and the day of your wedding is just stunning and every room has a ensuite which is perfect if you have a mix of guests/families. It has everything you need from a lovely garden over looking open fields, to a fully equipped kitchen and large spaces to chill all together in.

We visited several wedding venues during our search, but this one truly stood out. It didn’t feel like just another typical venue - it had a personal, intimate charm that made it special. The staff were absolutely incredible—supportive, attentive, and made the entire planning process so effortless. The barns are breathtakingly beautiful, and the new accommodation, located right next to the venue, is so lovely and very convenient. I highly recommend booking a viewing—you won’t be disappointed!

When we initially visited Lodge Farm we knew it was the venue for us, everywhere else just didn’t compare.

The place itself is absolutely beautiful and we loved that there were separate areas for the ceremony and reception. The barn exceeded any expectation of what we thought we wanted. From the start Jen and Rob couldn’t have been more helpful or friendlier and it made us feel so confident in our choice.

We were kept up to date with any relevant information and if we had any questions, Kirsty would get back to us so quickly and made us feel reassured. We were given great recommendations of what could work well for our day but felt no pressure and were able to choose what suited us best.

Our wedding co-ordinator, Steph, was super helpful when setting up the day before and made sure everything was running smoothly the day of.

We’ve been getting so many messages from our guests, telling us how they loved the venue and had an amazing day. I don’t think it could’ve gone any better! We could not imagine another venue for our wedding day and we cannot thank the team enough for making it perfect in every way.

Lodge Farm is an absolutely beautiful wedding venue, with it's rustic renovated grain store ceremony barn, stylish reception barn and simplistic yet elegant court yard, along the most fantastic venues from the garden. Lodge Farm also has accommodation on site, which is perfect for the bridal party to stay in over the weekend and also get ready on the morning of the wedding.
Jen and her family who run Lodge Farm were so accommodating, supportive and informative with every step of the wedding venue booking / planning journey. From the initial tour of the venue, to a second viewing, right through to our wedding day, nothing was too much trouble.

Lodge Farm is the perfect venue if you are looking for somewhere with the beauty of the North Yorkshire countryside and all the conveniences of a modern venue. Jen and Rob have done a fantastic job building a unique space with lots of original features and retaining the farming roots of the buildings (the men’s toilets are a particular highlight!). We were married at the local church which is a short walk through the woods from the barns. It was absolutely lovely for all our guests to wander back after the service in the glorious sunshine we were lucky enough to get with views across the countryside to the White Horse. So many of our guests complimented the venue to us, it was perfect for the wedding we wanted.

Jen and the team were so lovely and helpful. They couldn’t do enough to help it made the day feel so much more relaxed and perfect.

We held our wedding at Lodge farm and from start to finish it was amazing! From planning to the day itself, it was easy and laid back so we had a great weekend! It’s a beautiful venue, very relaxed and intimate and you can make it everything you want it to be. There is a beautiful bed and breakfast on site too which makes everything easy and as it should be. we totally recommend it!

What an incredibly special venue. During our search we knew we wanted a barn in the north east. But as soon as we saw Lodge Farm we knew our search was over! Jen has been a delight to deal with in the run up and on our day. So helpful in answering all our questions and helping pass relevant info over to our suppliers.
