Hosting over 80 weddings annually, The New Mill’s wedding team ensures that the perfect days’ events run smoothly, with every element, exceptional. In addition to the elegant but relaxed surroundings of the Riverside Restaurant and Garden Room, The New Mill’s marquee, The Oak Suite, occupies one of the restaurant’s many beautiful gardens. Perfect for larger events, The Oak Suite can accommodate more than 130 people seated and hosts both an extensive bar and dance floor. Its interior is decorated according to the event planned, with our specialist team tailoring its appearance specifically for individual guests’ requirements. An extensive range of lavish fabrics provide the basis for The Oak Suite, which is used for enchanting wedding receptions, breathtaking parties and exclusively branded corporate hospitality events and can be decorated to suit any theme and any event.

      Beautiful riverside location, delicious food and excellent service.
      We got married in May 2009 and we could not have asked for a more perfect day. The location was simply stunning, the food and service was second to none. The staff were professional and efficient with prompt delivery and personal attention that made the day a splendid occasion not only for us but also for our guests who all commented on an excellent day. We all enjoyed a most relaxing and peaceful day with our friends and family to celebrate our wedding.

      Fantastic, Romantic, Best Ever Wedding
      We got married here in December 2004 - just before Christmas. It was absolutely magical. Mark and his team did everything - we had nothing to worry about at all. The food was fabulous as well. No complaints whatsoever.

      Beautiful venue, attentive staff and great food!
      We got married here in July 05. The weather was perfect and made the venue look even more beautiful than it is. Mark and his team were amazing, they disappeared when you did not need them and appeared as soon as you did, as if by magic! The main room worked fantastically well as the marriage venue, for the wedding breakfast and as the center of the reception, with people not realising that they were taken back into the same room repeatedly as it was made to look so different. The food and service was amazing. I cannot rate this venue highly enough!

      Couldn't have asked for more.....
      The perfect venue for a cosy mid winter wedding. Log fires, lots of different areas to sit and chat, low beams, great space for a barn dance - not to mention a working waterwheel and resident ducks! Our families still comment about the fun day and great atmosphere and we got married nearly 3 years ago!

      What more could you want?
      Beautiful location, right on the river, excellent service and the most delicious food. Perfect if you want personal service, with the whole venue to yourself.
