The Oak Tree is a beautiful independent wedding venue just outside Knutsford, Cheshire—think countryside charm with a modern twist. Our oak-framed building looks like it grew right out of the landscape, perfectly nestled within the stunning natural scenery.

With 30 acres of gardens and wildflower meadows to explore, The Oak Tree feels like your own secret getaway. It’s peaceful, private, and full of those “wow” views that make guests stop and stare (and snap lots of photos). The whole place has a relaxed, intimate vibe.

As you step inside, the magic continues. Sunlight pours in through floor-to-ceiling windows, fairy lights twinkle overhead, and bougainvillea climbs toward the ceiling. It’s romantic, dreamy, and just a little bit enchanted—perfect for celebrating love in all its glory.

At The Oak Tree, you can say your vows in one of three stunning, licensed ceremony spaces: the light-filled Ladybird Room, the elegant Acorn Room, or our dreamy Outdoor Pavilion. Each space has its own personality, but they all share the same effortless magic—no need to go overboard with décor. With twinkling fairy lights and natural greenery already woven throughout, the whole venue feels like it’s stepped straight out of a modern fairytale.

Our Outdoor Pavilion is a true showstopper. Tucked amongst trees and lush greenery, it’s peaceful, picturesque, and wonderfully romantic.
