No words are enough for me to express how it was the BEST choice for us to choose Pippley Walled Gardens for our wedding celebration. My husband and I are both based in Germany and yet it wasn't a huge challenge to organize our wedding completely online - all thanks to the talented and professional team in Pippley. We got married in April 2026 and it was AMAZING, MEMORABLE and one for the books! Huge thanks to Sophie, Maisie, Katy, Jake & Harry for being superstars and really driving the event flawlessly. We were blessed with such an amazing weather for our wedding but we were ultimately super lucky to have an amazing team supporting all our requests, wants and needs on the day itself. There's so many photographic/instagrammable areas in Pippley that you won't run out of places to take photos in. The food is also delicious. We were initially worried that the servings would be small but actually we were all so full by the main course! Our menu choices - from the canapes to the wedding breakfast and until the evening food - all delicious! Overall, highly recommended venue and team to celebrate your wedding in. If you're still having doubts, let this review be the one to convince you completely :)

From the very beginning, The West Mill just felt different. It had all the atmosphere and character we wanted without losing the warmth or humanity that can sometimes disappear in larger wedding venues. The building itself is stunning, but what really made the experience was the people. Jane, our Event Manager, was exceptional throughout. Calm, organised, responsive and endlessly patient, even when we were juggling logistics, table plans, suppliers, family dynamics, paper aeroplanes and the general chaos that comes with trying to bring a very “us” kind of celebration to life. She somehow managed to hold everything together without ever making us feel pressured or like we were just another event in the diary. Most importantly, Jane alleviated so much of my anxiety on the day itself. She created the space for us to actually step back, breathe and enjoy the celebration knowing everything was in hand, organised and being quietly managed behind the scenes. That level of trust is priceless on a wedding day, and I honestly can’t overstate how much that meant. Jason, the night manager, was also brilliant. Quietly attentive, calm and constantly moving things along behind the scenes without ever intruding on the atmosphere of the day. So much of what ran smoothly clearly did because of the care and professionalism of the team around us. The whole team were kind, incredibly good at what they do and always seemed one step ahead. We felt looked after from beginning to end, shielded from any stress behind the scenes and free to actually be present with the people we love. What we created at The West Mill didn’t feel like a formula wedding. It felt personal, joyful, relaxed, emotional, slightly chaotic in all the right ways and completely unapologetically us and the venue gave us the space for that to happen. We honestly couldn’t have imagined celebrating anywhere else.

Olivia and the team were fantastic from start to finish. Olivia, on the day (and prep day the day before) was brilliant. She ran the event like clockwork. Honestly couldn’t have asked for better. Thank you so very much!

We had our wedding at The Pheasantry Brewery in December 2025, and it was honestly the most perfect experience from start to finish. The Pheasantry is such a gorgeous venue — full of character and charm — and what makes it so special is that you can truly make it your own. Whatever you’re dreaming of for your wedding day, I’m certain it’s possible here. Danielle and Dominique are truly the best in the business. Danielle was our wedding coordinator, and she was an absolute joy to work with. From our very first meeting, she listened so carefully to everything we wanted and made it all happen. We met with her a few times in person, and every single time she was warm, enthusiastic, and completely invested in our vision. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and on the day itself she brought everything together so seamlessly. She truly made our dream wedding come to life. As it was a two-bride wedding, it was especially important to us that certain moments felt personal and special — and Danielle and Dominique went above and beyond to ensure that. They made sure we didn’t see each other before the ceremony and gave each of us our own special moment, which meant the world to us. We both felt so cared for and celebrated individually as well as together. On the day, both Danielle and Dominique were everywhere — serving guests, coordinating suppliers, checking in on us, and making sure everything ran perfectly smoothly. Their presence was huge, and yet everything felt effortless. Danielle even drove us home at the end of the night when we had an issue with our transport! That alone shows the kind of people they are — they truly go above and beyond for their couples. The food was absolutely impeccable. So many of our guests commented on how incredible it was. We had a couple of guests with allergies, and the team catered for them so thoughtfully and carefully. Nothing was ever an issue, and everyone felt completely looked after. The entire catering team, including the waiting staff and bar staff, were wonderful — so polite, courteous, and professional throughout the day and evening. If you are trying to decide where to get married, please choose The Pheasantry. You will not be disappointed. It is the most special place, run by the most incredible people. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our day so unbelievably special. We will truly never forget it. 🤍

We were originally due to get married in 2020, but due to the pandemic we had to postpone several times. Despite all the uncertainty, the team were incredibly supportive throughout the whole process. We finally got married in 2021, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for better help or guidance. The staff were amazing and nothing was ever too much trouble they truly made our day special.

Torr Vale Mill is a fantastic setting and location to get married. We had our wedding in May 2026 and it was perfect. The staff were very helpful, responsive and organised which ensured the whole day went smoothly. All our guest were amazed by how great the venue was and how great the staff service was.

Thanks to all the team the day ran smoothly and the food was amazing! We had so many compliments throughout the day about the venue and food. The weather was on our side which played a huge part meaning our ceremony was able to be outside. It really was the best day ever for us, no stress.

This is the first venue we had looked at and then viewed alternatives but still came back to The Grange and this was the BEST decision EVER. The Grange is beautiful and we had so many guests that commented the same about the venue. Vicky and Steve were so accommodating and passionate and made us feel at ease with every step up until the big day. They were so helpful even on the day and really felt like part of the family at the end. We honestly had the best wedding day here!

We had a fantastic day, from the train stopping outside our ceremony room - and tooting the whistle at just the right point! - to the first class dining experience and the sheer joy of travelling on a steam train all afternoon! Regan, Julie and the rest of the team went out of their way to make our day perfect, we couldn't have asked for more.
