We got married at The Pheasantry in November 2025, both our ceremony and reception were held here. The venue is beautiful, all our guests commented on how lovely the building and the outdoor space is, there are so many nice areas for photos. Danielle was brilliant not only on the day of our wedding but throughout the entire lead up. We felt so relaxed and that everything was under control, after being warned how stressful wedding planning was we really didn’t feel this and we put it down to our venue and suppliers. Anything we asked they made happen and nothing was too much trouble. The food was incredible. As 2 vegetarians, we were given free rein on what we wanted to eat which we really appreciated as this was not the case in other venues we had visited prior to finding the Pheasantry. The portions were a great size and the menu options were really hard to choose from as it all sounded so good. We were gutted to not have been able to finish it all as we were so full. Dom and his team were so attentive and everything ran so smoothly. We can’t recommend The Pheasantry as a wedding venue enough! We had a perfect day and could not have imagined getting married anywhere else, we would recommend this venue to anyone wanting a relaxed wedding planning process, kind, genuine staff, and beautiful rustic surroundings.

We had the most amazing wedding breakfast and reception at The Hurt Arms. One of the first weddings when the venue had been newly renovated and the function room added. We got married in church. The wedding team couldn’t do enough for us. From enquiring about booking, to Breakfast the morning after our wedding. Whenever we emailed or phoned to talk about the wedding and details, someone was always on hand to answer immediately. Nothing was too much trouble. The day flowed so smoothly and it made it easy for us to enjoy it with our family and friends. We even got to make tweaks to the wedding breakfast menu to suit us and our tastes. We had a lovely warm/cold sit down buffet and then a bbq for the evening. They gave us some fantastic deals and discounts for being one of the first weddings there. The bridal suite was included and the room was beautiful. It will always be one of the best days of our lives.

Emma, Rob and the team were absolutely amazing and helped us to have the most perfect wedding day. From the early planning stages to the wedding day itself, Emma was always on hand for any queries and to offer suggestions that would help make the day go smoothly. The team provided a list of vendors that we could choose from or we could contact our own, which was really helpful as there was flexibility but we could also rely on vendors, such as our caterers, who knew the venue already. The Mill and surrounding area is beautiful, with loads of places to take photographs as a couple and with the wedding party. We decided to do our portraits before the ceremony and the team were great in accommodating this. The Mill is also the perfect size with great facilities, we were able to invite all of the people who we wanted to celebrate with and everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend this venue if you are looking for somewhere full of character with stunning surroundings and a team who are dedicated to creating the perfect wedding day for you.

Gradbach were absolutely amazing for our winter wedding. Having most of our guests accommodated on-site for the whole weekend created such a lovely atmosphere, and we received nothing but compliments about both the venue and the food. Tam put together a completely vegan menu, and our guests were genuinely blown away by it. The vegan breakfasts were also a huge hit, especially the custard pastry. People were equally impressed by how well dietary requirements and allergies were catered for. The location itself is stunning, and some of our guests really enjoyed taking walks in the surrounding area, which was a lovely bonus. Colin and Imogen were endlessly responsive, friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout the entire planning process, which made the experience so much less stressful and genuinely enjoyable. We made the decision just the day before to move the ceremony indoors instead of using the marquee, and they handled everything flawlessly. We would definitely recommend Gradbach to anyone considering it for their wedding. I've had many guests tell me it was the nicest wedding they've been to!

We first heard about The Grange through our son, whose friends had recently booked it for their own wedding. Their recommendation encouraged us to visit, and from the moment we arrived, we were absolutely blown away. The sheer beauty of the venue were unmatched—nothing else in the area even came close. Our guests couldn’t stop telling us how stunning the venue was and how lovely the atmosphere felt. So many of them couldn’t believe such a beautiful place existed right here in Leverton without them knowing. If you’re thinking about booking The Grange at Leverton, do it. You’ll fall in love with it just like we did. It’s the most beautiful place run by the loveliest people (Steve and Vicky) and we’ll be forever grateful to them for giving us the wedding day we’d always dreamed of.

Held our wedding reception at Sessions house and the whole experience was absolutely amazing. Erica and her team made us feel welcome and special all the way through the process, from setting up right through the event itself. Sessions House itself is an absolutely amazing venue and we’re already thinking about having a 1 year anniversary party there

We had a fantastic day, from the train stopping outside our ceremony room - and tooting the whistle at just the right point! - to the first class dining experience and the sheer joy of travelling on a steam train all afternoon! Regan, Julie and the rest of the team went out of their way to make our day perfect, we couldn't have asked for more.

Where do we begin with the Cosy Club, Nottingham? Shelly was absolutely faultless in her support, time and attention to detail! From the first time we met Shelly, she understood the type of couple we were and what we wanted our wedding day to be…filled with love and laughter. The set up of the room was just idyllic and perfect and something we didn’t have to worry about as we trusted Shelly 100%. The food was outstanding with no complaints received! The Cosy Club offered that special vintage feel that both my husband and I absolutely love. Shelly had a plethora of supplier recommendations which we can say we utilised. If you’re looking for a venue with an extra special touch and great service, look no further!
