Pippley Walled Garden was everything we hoped for and more for our intimate elopement. From the moment we first arrived, we fell in love with its calm, secluded feel. Having such a peaceful, private space made the entire day feel completely relaxed and personal. The grounds are beautifully kept, offering a wonderful mix of rustic texture and lush greenery that looked incredible in our photographs. The communication and support from Maisie and the team in the lead-up made planning stress-free, allowing us to simply focus on enjoying our day together. For anyone planning an intimate wedding or elopement and looking for a venue that feels unique, warm, and authentic, Pippley Walled Garden is perfect.

From the very beginning, The West Mill just felt different. It had all the atmosphere and character we wanted without losing the warmth or humanity that can sometimes disappear in larger wedding venues. The building itself is stunning, but what really made the experience was the people. Jane, our Event Manager, was exceptional throughout. Calm, organised, responsive and endlessly patient, even when we were juggling logistics, table plans, suppliers, family dynamics, paper aeroplanes and the general chaos that comes with trying to bring a very “us” kind of celebration to life. She somehow managed to hold everything together without ever making us feel pressured or like we were just another event in the diary. Most importantly, Jane alleviated so much of my anxiety on the day itself. She created the space for us to actually step back, breathe and enjoy the celebration knowing everything was in hand, organised and being quietly managed behind the scenes. That level of trust is priceless on a wedding day, and I honestly can’t overstate how much that meant. Jason, the night manager, was also brilliant. Quietly attentive, calm and constantly moving things along behind the scenes without ever intruding on the atmosphere of the day. So much of what ran smoothly clearly did because of the care and professionalism of the team around us. The whole team were kind, incredibly good at what they do and always seemed one step ahead. We felt looked after from beginning to end, shielded from any stress behind the scenes and free to actually be present with the people we love. What we created at The West Mill didn’t feel like a formula wedding. It felt personal, joyful, relaxed, emotional, slightly chaotic in all the right ways and completely unapologetically us and the venue gave us the space for that to happen. We honestly couldn’t have imagined celebrating anywhere else.

The first venue we went to see and we knew it was the one. Dominique was so warm, friendly and made it clear that everything was flexible to make our day how we wanted it. The venue itself was exactly what we were looking for; rustic, relaxed, not too big and set out the way of everything in enclosed gardens (perfect for young guests!). We chose the ‘Midsummer Wedding’ package to suit our budget and the summer BBQ vibe we were aiming for. Danielle was absolutely fantastic with advice and answering any question big or small. I honestly didn’t feel any wedding planning stress because it was all in-hand! We chose all our suppliers from the recommendations given and every one was fantastic. Danielle also helped us book ‘the old dairy’ across the road as our accommodation which was perfect! On the day we were in awe how attentive Danielle and Dominique were! From last minute ceremony relocation due to rain, a canopy of umbrellas to get the bridal party inside, turning the room over 3 times for each portion of the day seamlessly and allowing us to enjoy our day and not have to think about a thing, they were both incredible. We’ve had so many comments from our family and guests how well organised it was, they and the team are worth their weight in gold. If you are contemplating booking the Pheasantry, you will not be disappointed! Fantastic food, beautiful photo opportunities, the ability to change little details to suit you and make it more personalised and a team there to ensure you have a stress free experience and dream wedding day. I honestly can’t say enough to properly do everyone justice on how amazing they are! Thankyou for making our day what it was, we will treasure it forever ❤️

We were originally due to get married in 2020, but due to the pandemic we had to postpone several times. Despite all the uncertainty, the team were incredibly supportive throughout the whole process. We finally got married in 2021, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for better help or guidance. The staff were amazing and nothing was ever too much trouble they truly made our day special.

We recently had a wedding at torr vale and we chose the most perfect place! From The start guests walk down to the view which automatically sets the tone! We had Emma as our wedding coordinator who was amazing, from myself and my husband bombarding her with the littlest of questions everything was answered straight away and no request was too big! From getting ready in the lean top of gave us so much room, that we had the most relaxed wedding morning to start, getting to peep out the window at all your guests arriving made it extra special too! We got to choose all our own vendors, from food, music and got the opportunity to dress the room ourselves too! This was great as we wernt tied to a package and could make this more affordable for ourselves! We got time for a little photo shoot on the millennium bridge during the day, which was amazing for those perfect wedding photos! The room was lit up with fairy lights at the night, in and outside which gave the most magical feel! Emma and her team made the day room so smoothly we just got to enjoy every minute! I can't thank Emma and her team enough and would always recommend Torr Vale! A beautiful place and team! Katie and Dec ❤️

Our wedding at Gradbach Mill was everything we dreamed of. The scenery around it is gorgeous, and being able to get married outside in that scenery was perfect. The Exclusively Yours Weekend package was something no other venues we viewed in the area offered - staying the whole weekend with our closest family and wedding parties made the wedding feel more like a holiday, and we were able to relax and extend the feeling of bliss. We even went for a hike the next day in our wedding gear for the scenery. The accommodation is lovely, and the food was delicious. Imogen and the team were super helpful in answering all our many anxious questions and helping us relax in the assurance the day would be smooth

Absolutely Outstanding – We Couldn’t Recommend The Grange Enough! We honestly cannot recommend The Grange Leverton highly enough. From the moment we first started planning our wedding, right through to the day itself, the whole experience went far beyond anything we could have expected. The Grange is genuinely a stunning venue. However, as beautiful as the venue is, what truly sets The Grange apart are the owners - Steve and Vicky. From our very first meeting, their communication was outstanding. They were always available, always approachable and genuinely invested in making sure our wedding was everything we had dreamed of. We had regular meetings throughout the planning process, with additional meetings whenever we needed them, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Steve and Vicky were not simply venue owners — they were completely involved in helping us bring our day together. Their experience, organisation, attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond gave us so much confidence and reassurance throughout the entire process. Knowing that they were there, supporting us every step of the way, meant we could actually relax and enjoy the build-up to our wedding. On the day itself, their involvement was incredible. They were both actively involved in making sure everything ran smoothly and that we could concentrate on what really mattered — enjoying every moment with our family and friends. Their care and dedication were obvious, and we genuinely felt that our wedding was as important to them as it was to us. And that is what makes The Grange so special. It isn’t just an amazing venue; it is the people behind it. Steve and Vicky are genuinely amazing people. Their warmth, kindness and passion shine through in everything they do, and we feel incredibly lucky that they were such an important part of our wedding journey. Our guests were blown away by the venue and the whole experience, and we have received so many wonderful comments about how beautiful The Grange is and how perfectly everything came together. If you are looking for a wedding venue where the setting is spectacular, the facilities are exceptional, the attention to detail is second to none, and where you are genuinely cared for from the moment you book until the moment you leave, look no further than The Grange Leverton. We would choose it all over again in a heartbeat and would 100% recommend The Grange, Steve and Vicky to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue. An absolutely beautiful venue, made even more special by two genuinely wonderful people. ❤️

We had a fantastic day, from the train stopping outside our ceremony room - and tooting the whistle at just the right point! - to the first class dining experience and the sheer joy of travelling on a steam train all afternoon! Regan, Julie and the rest of the team went out of their way to make our day perfect, we couldn't have asked for more.

Where do we begin with the Cosy Club, Nottingham? Shelly was absolutely faultless in her support, time and attention to detail! From the first time we met Shelly, she understood the type of couple we were and what we wanted our wedding day to be…filled with love and laughter. The set up of the room was just idyllic and perfect and something we didn’t have to worry about as we trusted Shelly 100%. The food was outstanding with no complaints received! The Cosy Club offered that special vintage feel that both my husband and I absolutely love. Shelly had a plethora of supplier recommendations which we can say we utilised. If you’re looking for a venue with an extra special touch and great service, look no further!
