Unique and Unusual Wedding Venues in Wales

If you're considering Manor Park Country House as a venue, you need to go for it! They had us at our first visit over a cuppa. Marie and the team genuinely care and want to help you have the best day. There were no hidden costs, they were so honest with how to save money in places and were so open to budget and gave us scenarios for minimum budget and top end budget. They really listened and catered to us. We are both foodies... the food through the day was stunning and even our guests with dietary requirements loved their alternatives. The day went so smoothly with Marie and Nick guiding us and ready to answer any questions we had. Infact all the staff couldn't do enough! One of the team spotted I wasn't getting canapes as we were being pulled for photos and went to the trouble of seeking me out to ensure I got fed which was extremely kind.

I fell in love with Ty Afon the first time I saw it. Not only is the venue itself stunning on a regular day and very much worth a stay at any time of year, it is surrounded by absolutely magical views in one of the most beautiful parts of Snowdonia. All of our wedding guests were absolutely blown away despite it being a bit of a drive for a few of them. It was definitely worth the journey - plus there is plenty of accommodation in the wonderful nearby village Beddgelert so many guests can stay within a 10 minute walk to the venue. The owners of Ty Afon, Emma and Regan, take genuine pride in what they do and they have managed to create a wonderful wedding venue that any couple would be lucky to get married at. We had 40ish guests and it was the perfect size for a small-medium wedding like ours, (and I’m sure a larger wedding would work amazingly well too) and you can tailor it to some extent to really bring out your personality on your wedding day. We had a very specific vision for our wedding and Emma and Regan, and all the staff at Ty Afon, went above and beyond to help us make it a reality - they were so helpful and understanding throughout the whole process, even finding ways to reduce costs for us wherever they could. They were also helped out by an incredible wedding planner, Helen, who often works with the venue. We felt very safe in her capable hands and very much knew that she wouldn't let anything go wrong with our wedding on her watch. Diolch to all of you for helping us have the most perfect day!

We held our wedding down in the slate cavern, 18 months ago. It was a fantastic day. Truly unique and totally awesome. The staff at Llechwedd couldn't have been more helpful. The setting was cold (so tell everyone to wrap up warm), it was romantic and the lighting, the candles everything just added to a great day. We weren't expecting much for the buffet, but the staff out-did themselves. The food was better than any wedding buffet that I've ever had. No soggy butties, all freshly made, including a whole salmon - which was unexpected. And the Prosecco choice we were given was absolutely excellent. Can't praise Llechwedd enough.

This is a great place for a small wedding. The owners, Vicki and Roy go out of thier way to help make your day exactly how you want it. A beautiful setting in the woods amongst the wildlife and overlooking the scenic Welsh coast. Beach walks 5 minutes away. In the evening you can sit and watch badgers and foxes on the patio. Delightful. Unreservedly reccommended... and I'm rarely pleased!

I am trapped in a bubble of joy - cheesy I know! THANK YOU so much to everyone at Fforest for a truly wonderful wedding party - it was the best 3 days ever! We were so lucky because there was only one other couple so it actually felt like we had exclusive use - haha! Fforest knocked everyones socks off and it enabled Adrian and I to be true to ourselves and do everything our way! Sending so much gratitude to Fliss who was a breath of fresh air and Jenny who was so helpful and relaxed! We loved the pizza party farmhouse vibe we were able to create the evening before (!!) and the Bwythn brought me absolute joy - I can't describe to you the tingles I got from that place!!

We celebrated our wedding at Werganrose Farm on October 5th 2019. We had decided we wanted an intimate wedding with our closest friends and family. A number of people lived away. Werganrose offered us the option of them staying for a long weekend to enjoy the build up to the wedding and the day itself. This venue allowed us to put our own stamp on how we wanted the wedding to take place. Mandy helped us to create a perfect wedding setting that suited our love of nature and relaxed atmosphere. So many people at the wedding commented on the beautiful setting saying that they’d had the best day! We hope to hire the venue out again for a future gathering.

Squirrels nest was the most beautiful venue for our small wedding. Camilla and all the staff were incredible, nothing was too much for them. They helped us with every detail from the fantastic private chef experience from The Little Welsh Kitchen to photography recommendations. We would highly recommend squirrels nest!

This is the perfect venue for a hen party etc . Everyone in our group had a ball . Fabulous bedrooms and perfect entertaining space , kitchen well equipped everything was very clean and Nicky was quick to respond to any messages . We organised our own entertainment which went down a storm . There is lovely outside space even though we were there at the beginning of January we had some sunshine and sat outside I would imagine in the summer it would be good fun . You have the place completely to yourselves and everyone loved the bar . All in all a perfect party place for a big group . Can’t wait to go again . Thanks to Nicky and team Cathryn lewis
