Facilities and Capacity
Pippley Walled Garden offers beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces for your special day. The property is licensed to hold civil ceremonies on-site, allowing you to set all aspects of your occasion at this venue. The converted greenhouse is a popular setting for outdoor ceremonies. Set against a rose-covered red brick wall backdrop, you and your beloved can exchange heartfelt vows surrounded by blooming flowerbeds and ancient architecture here. The sunken terrace is a picturesque spot for your drinks reception while you have your wedding photos taken against the various beautiful natural backdrops nearby. The permanent wedding marquee here provides a breathtaking setting for your wedding breakfast and evening reception. This Georgian-style structure features floor-length draping, crystal chandeliers, and large windows that keep your event connected to the scenic surroundings. Up to 200 attendees can be comfortably accommodated here, and the decor of your choice can be easily implemented within this space.

The friendly and experienced events team at Pippley aim to create the day of dreams at their delightful venue. Their in-house catering team can create your ideal event menu using ingredients grown on-site to craft delicious homemade dishes for your day. Flexible bar services are also available here, along with a variety of beverage options, including flower-dressed cocktails, award-winning wines, and much more. The venue’s wedding planner can work with you to incorporate all of these elements into your perfect wedding package, designed with you in mind.

Best day. Best venue. Amazing Food. Great team. All you can ask for to make your wedding a blast!
No words are enough for me to express how it was the BEST choice for us to choose Pippley Walled Gardens for our wedding celebration. My husband and I are both based in Germany and yet it wasn't a huge challenge to organize our wedding completely online - all thanks to the talented and professional team in Pippley.
We got married in April 2026 and it was AMAZING, MEMORABLE and one for the books!
Huge thanks to Sophie, Maisie, Katy, Jake & Harry for being superstars and really driving the event flawlessly. We were blessed with such an amazing weather for our wedding but we were ultimately super lucky to have an amazing team supporting all our requests, wants and needs on the day itself.
There's so many photographic/instagrammable areas in Pippley that you won't run out of places to take photos in. The food is also delicious. We were initially worried that the servings would be small but actually we were all so full by the main course! Our menu choices - from the canapes to the wedding breakfast and until the evening food - all delicious!
Overall, highly recommended venue and team to celebrate your wedding in. If you're still having doubts, let this review be the one to convince you completely :)

The Perfect May Wedding in Full Bloom
We first viewed Pippley Walled Gardens in autumn and, while it was undeniably beautiful, we found it difficult to imagine how the gardens would look for our May wedding.
On the day itself, the venue completely exceeded our expectations. It was in full spring bloom—vibrant, colourful, and absolutely stunning. It truly felt like the perfect setting.
Sophie and the team were fantastic throughout the entire process. They supported us in all the decisions we needed to make, and their guidance—especially with organising the format of the ceremony music—was incredibly helpful and reassuring.
Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how gorgeous the venue was, and many asked how we managed to find such a special place.
We genuinely had one of the best days of our lives, and so much of that is thanks to the team at Pippley Walled Gardens. We’re incredibly grateful.

Perfect venue and perfect team
We had our wedding day at The Walled Garden in September 2023 and could not recommend it more highly. Everything was perfect - aside from the relaxed, beautiful venue that you can truly make your own; there was the delicious food (we had the bbq and it was ace!) and canapes, drinks; the management of the day was faultless; the planning in the months before perfect...
It was everything we could have dreamt of and more :)

Perfect September wedding!
We had our wedding here in September. When people said it is the best day of your life, we didn’t believe them until the day.
We had our eye on this venue before even getting engaged. It was the first place we viewed and we booked without question. Sophie supported us from our initial show around to getting us down the aisle on the day.
She is professional, knowledgeable, and friendly from the get go. I always had a quick response whenever I asked anything along the way.
The day itself ran smoothly thanks to the whole operations team. The garden itself was as stunning as ever and we were lucky to have a sunny warm day.
We had bbq food, dessert pots and evening pizza, which we all enjoyed, well presented, varied and all delicious and fresh.
Big thank you to Harry and Jack especially on the day before and the day of, helping us set up and running the day. They were so professional and lovely throughout and guests noticed this too.
We chose to have a cocktail hour which was beautifully laid out and the cocktails were delicious!
It was also great to have a place which would allow us to have our dog come along, and felt secure enough to let him roam around.
We cannot recommend this venue enough and will be sure to visit again for farmers market days!

The perfect day!
Our wedding here was absolutely stunning, everyone commented what a beautiful location the Walled Garden was and the staff during the planning process (particularly Sophie) were so laidback and dedicated to making it the day we wanted. Completely magical! Also they loved my crochet flowers and definitely have a great emphasis on sustainability

Fairytale wedding
Well what can I say about walled gardens the first time we walked through the gardens me and Matthew sat down and it gave us goosebumps and tears, it reminded us of Matthews dear mums garden with all the beautiful colours and flowers we both sat on the bench took and deep breath and both said this is our wedding venue. We met our wedding planner sophie and from start to finish she couldn't of done any more she helped us with everything she could and was there at the end of a email or phone to answer any questions that needed answering her communication skills were 100%, the day of our wedding arrived and the gardens looked absolutely stunning before I arrived it was raining and everything was set up in side not what I wanted but the sun came out and the staff were amazing and quickly brought the inside back out into the garden where we happly got married and it looked beautiful,we couldn't of been more happy, the staff were all hard working and they couldn't of done anything more for us making sure we were ok introducing themselves too us if the staff were changing and telling us if we needed anything then just to ask,we had the carvery and the food was very taseful and very well presented. walledgardens is a beautiful place peaceful quaint and just a stunning setting made us feel like we were getting married in our mum's garden. Walledgardens made us feel like were at home and couldn't of done anything more for us we are super happy and couldn't be more greatful to sophie and the team at walledgardens for making our day super special so thank you

Our perfect day in May
Our day at The Walled Garden could not have gone better...
From our first look round back in January to collecting everything back up the morning after was so simple and easy. The planning team were always an email away, and happy for us to plan our wedding how we wanted. We didn't feel pressured into any add-ons and everything we could think of was included. On the Day Katy and her team went above and beyond to make everything go smoothly. We had options all day to make sure everything ran to our schedule, as we wanted it to. The weather held off as long as we needed it to, but I have no doubt that the walled garden team would have pulled it together if it hadn't. Our guests are still gushing over all of the details, the beautiful garden in particular, and the amazing BBQ we had. The photos that we have had are perfect and still don't do the garden justice. We wouldn't change a thing, and would rebook in an instant.

Wedding venue
We got married at the start of August at The Walled Garden with approx. 60 day guests. The process from first viewing to the day after the wedding was seamless.
The food was fantastic and was complimented by all guests. The reception drinks and offerings behind the bar were also great. We were pleased to see improvements being made to the venue each time we revisited (the bar and seating is new).
Despite the changeable weather, the venue accommodated a string quartet and outdoor wedding. They were quick and efficient all day, and had everything in hand. Nothing was too much effort, and every member of staff both on the day and before were fantastic.
The food was fantastic and was complimented by all guests. The reception drinks and offerings behind the bar were also great. We were pleased to see improvements being made to the venue each time we revisited (the bar and seating is new).

“Wedding of the decade”
WOW! We honestly can't thank the team at The Walled Garden enough for all their hard work that made our Wedding Day so special.
Throughout the whole process Lauren has been our right hand woman to make sure every detail is checked off, we couldn't have done it without her!!
We wanted our day to be enjoyed by all and the venue is perfect for this; open spaces for children to run and play, seated areas in the sun and the shade, gorgeous intimate areas for photography. The team on the day felt like friends we had known for years, and no request was too much.
The food was incredible and all dietary requirements were catered for, even down to the kids menu which went down a treat.
We would recommend The Walled Garden as a Wedding Venue to anyone getting married, as all the little details were considered. The only problem we have... we want to do it all over again!!!!

The perfect day!
We got married last summer at this incredibly stunning venue and it was quite literally our dream day. The staff were attentive and welcoming, providing perfect service all day and the setup crew heard my vision and went for it; the marquee looked amazing! A huge shout out must go to Lauren who was with us planning every step of the way; a lovely, bubbly hype woman who really helped make our dreams come true. We will treasure every singly memory of our wedding day - thank you all!
