Sheene MIll is a stunning exclusive-use wedding venue. This 16th-century, grade ll listed mill offers ample charm and character, featuring original architecture, open fireplaces and exposed beams. Each space has its own unique atmosphere and will provide a beautiful, bespoke setting for your magical day.
Facilities and Capacity
Your ceremony unfolds in one of three beautifully licensed settings, each offering its own unique charm:
The Pavilion, gently poised beside the tranquil River Mel and surrounded by exquisitely landscaped gardens.
The Conservatory offers a light-filled, romantic space, opening onto a charming deck that overlooks the River Mel, providing an idyllic setting for intimate ceremonies of up to 60 guests.
For grander occasions, the elegant Mill Hall welcomes up to 110 guests, creating a warm and memorable setting for your unforgettable “I do.”
With exclusive use of the entire venue and its enchanting grounds, your celebration can unfold seamlessly from day into evening, hosting up to 110 guests for dining, and a further 70 for laughter and dancing!
As the day draws to a close, retreat with your loved ones to one of ten boutique bedrooms, each offering serene views across the manicured gardens and the gently winding River Mel

Food was amazing- we opted for the BBQ and was all plated up and brought to the tables, I have so many comments with how amazing the food was and how much of a different variety of foods there was.
We did the intimate package and was just enough for us to have our closest people to us for our special day,
Was made to feel so comfortable on our day, and everything went smoothly and didn’t have to worry about a thing on the day.
The grounds looked gorgeous and well kept, and loads of lovely space for photo opportunities
Loads of rooms to choose from for guests and married couple. We stayed in room 10 which personally was lovely as had the living room for myself and my husband to have a chill in the living room to catch up after the wedding and then go to bed- which the bed was very comfortable.
Would choose to get married again at Sheene Mill over and over again.

Stunning Venue - Brilliant Staff
The team that is there now has been absolutely amazing from start to finish. Every member of staff we dealt with went above and beyond to help us, answer questions, reassure us, and make us feel genuinely valued. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their kindness and professionalism made such a difference during what can already be a stressful time planning a wedding.
What really stood out to us was how much they genuinely cared. The owner even personally called us, which meant a lot and showed a real commitment to customer service and making things right. That level of care is rare to find.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning and our photos have turned out absolutely gorgeous. The outdoor space speaks for itself in the photos and is true to form. However, the way the inside space was transformed with an indoor ceremony was absolutely gorgeous.
Anyone that books this venue with Gyzelle and Levi will have an absolutely amazing day.
A perfect Dinning experience
Versatile venue, personalised service
Most of all, we worked with a great team at Sheene Mill whose number one skill was listening - naturally, we wanted a nice and relaxed event and our style is very much 'less is more' - Kelly and team got that and worked with it - their attention to detail and care on the day was impeccable - we felt really looked after and special but also that the day was a reflection of us and the event we wanted. Equally, if you wanted all the bells and whistles I know the team would facilitate that too.
Oh, we also used the 10 bedrooms for 2 nights which was fab and ensured a comfortable weekend for our family who had travelled some distance to be with us.
We had an incredible day and we cannot thank Sheene and the team enough for everything they did to help make that happen. They are special people and we will be back for coffee or to dine I'm sure :)
Beautiful venue, terrible organisation and support
Stunning venue!
We viewed this gorgeous venue before any others and instantly booked, knowing it was where we would be holding our special day. With its cosy, intimate rooms, pavilion overlooking the pond and its beautiful surroundings, Sheene Mill made for a stunning location and the perfect setting for our wedding.
On the day, the team at Sheene Mill ensured all our needs were met and that the whole day went as perfectly as we had dreamed. The food and hospitality could not be faulted. A special mention goes to the wedding coordinator, Ellie, and manager, Aushin, who both went above and beyond to ensure we had a truly memorable day and that our guests were well taken care of.
We recently returned for a visit to reminisce and soak up the surroundings whilst enjoying an afternoon tea and then dinner in the evening, both of which we would highly recommend.
If you are looking to have your wedding in a stunning, tranquil and picturesque location, Sheene Mill ticks all the right boxes.

We were only having a very intimate and small wedding, but they still treated it with the attention and importance that they would a 100 person wedding. We were never left wanting for anything and it all ran so smoothly. The venue and our room were wonderful and fit the vibe of the wedding perfectly. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, all of our guests loved it. Every member of staff was caring and devoted to creating a perfect day for us. We could not be more thankful to everyone for all of their efforts! 💜🧡
