Facilities and Capacity
The Canary Shed welcomes couples to spend the weekend living it up in style. You're welcome to arrive at noon the day before your nuptials and spend the day decorating and indulging in some pampering in the spa. Feeling renewed, you can wake up and get ready in the luxuries of your onsite self-catering accommodation.
With the capacity to accommodate up to 120 guests, the ceremony space is designed for all seasons, offering complete flexibility no matter the weather. Large doors at the front of the space can be opened to create an open-air ceremony during the warmer months, seamlessly blending the indoors with the surrounding nature. In the cooler months, the doors can be fully closed to transform the space into a cosy, enclosed setting—perfect for an intimate winter ceremony while still enjoying views of the beautiful surroundings.
For a truly spectacular reception, celebrate in the quirky barn where you’ll dine beneath over a thousand colourful birds, adding a pop of colour and a unique, joyful character to the space. After another blissful sleep onsite, relax in the spa before checking out and saying your goodbyes.

The Gavin and Stacey wedding of our dreams
Where do we begin to talk about our wedding at the Canary Shed, it was the most magical, unforgettable and completely unique weekend of our life. I’ll say a weekend and not a day, as the moment you arrive at the Canary Shed on the Friday evening the celebrations begin.
From being able to have complete creative control of the decoration of the shed, which is already such a bright and special place, to having all of your nearest and dearest staying with you on sight for the weekend! It truly was the best weekend of our lives.
Jade and Paige really were incredible, from the moment we booked the venue back in 2022, there were regular check ins and genuinely nothing was too much of an ask. Jade is the wedding planner you’ve always dreamed of and made the weekend run so flawlessly, from setting up the ceremony space on the morning to fixing our damaged cake with disco balls, she’s amazing!!
We’re based in the midlands, but chose the canary shed because they were dog friendly and let’s face it, you’ve never seen a venue like it! We had so many comments on how incredible the venue and the day was.
It’s so great that you can completely tailor the day to you, bringing in your own caterers, crockery, and having full creative control. We wanted a relaxed alternative vibe and the canary shed was the perfect fit.
We honestly would do it all over again and I can’t thank the canary shed team enough for giving us the most special weekend wedding celebration of our life. It was perfect in every single way and I genuinely have struggled to put into words what an incredible time we had.
We made memories to last a life time and we can’t wait to come back and stay at the shed to reminisce on them.

Our wedding was out of this world! 💫✨
Our wedding was out of this world, The Canary Shed is an absolutely stunning venue and we wish we could do it all over again. The staff were so lovely and went out of their way to be incredibly helpful. We loved that our wedding celebrations could be spread out over a weekend and loved that we could have family and friends stay in the accommodation alongside us. Everything was dog friendly which was extra bonus points for us as we had all 3 family pets at our wedding which made it extra special. We will be visiting for years to come and love the parlour cafe that is on site too, lovely food and drinks options. We would also like to give a big shout out to Jade who helped us along the way and for being such a lovely human being ❤️ Emma & Matty xoxo

Where do I even begin? The Canary Shed was incredible from start to finish!
As soon as we arrived to view the venue, we knew it was the one. It had everything we wanted – the perfect blend of quirky charm and rustic character. Booking was simple and stress-free, and from that point on, everything just flowed.
Jade, Paige, and the entire team were absolutely flawless. They brought every single one of our ideas to life and went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. No request was too big – they even built a step to help a guest with accessibility and found a replacement vendor on the morning of our wedding without missing a beat!
More than just staff, they genuinely felt like guests – holding our dogs, making sure we had food, and constantly checking in to support us. The exclusivity of the venue and the 3-day hire made the experience even more special. It gave us the time and space to really enjoy the lead-up, the big day, and the wind-down without feeling rushed. The accommodation is just as stunning as the rest of the venue and having it’s situated so close made it a great option for our family friendly wedding the children had the best time exploring and visiting the goats.
We honestly want to come back every year to celebrate our anniversary – that’s how much this place means to us now.

A thousand reasons to book the Canary Shed - here's 10 of the best
The Canary Shed was the first and only place we went to visit in our search for a wedding venue. From our very first visit we knew it was incredibly special. If you're looking for a venue that provides:
1) A whole weekend of fun, from Friday midday to Sunday afternoon, stretching out your big day into a big weekend
2) a dog-friendly getaway that means you can have your beloved pooch with you the entire time
3) a gorgeous accommodation block for all of your loved ones to celebrate with you, that has the comfiest beds and cosiest aesthetics
4) a stunning, one-of-a-kind backdrop from the colourful barn ceiling of the Canary Shed, to the rustic vineyard and sun terrace surrounding it
5) a venue that feels special in any weather condition (but especially shines when the weather is nice)
6) thousands of little touches like evening fire-pits, pre-wedding BBQs, on-site spa and gym, delicious hangover brunch at the on-site cafe, complimentary wine and bubbly on arrival in your barn
7) the most diligent, attentive team working with you to make your dream wedding a reality (Jade & Paige are my organisational heroes) and a dreamy bar with delicious cocktails and mocktails
8) a host of excellent recommended suppliers that will bring out the best for your day
9) Stunning walks around vineyards, marinas and a quaint little town
10) A venue that is incredibly inclusive with accessibility options, anything you might need for your children, of course a host to LGBTQIA+ ceremonies and celebrations, and carefully considered options for those who don't drink
And much, much more... I couldn't think of anywhere better than the Canary Shed. I believe it's incredibly value for money when you consider the length of time you get access to the venue and accommodation for.
The only hot tip I have is to implore your guests to book their taxis back after the big day in advance - the town itself is small with not a lot in the way of taxi options or Uber. But that is such a tiny, tiny detail in the grand scheme of what was the most perfect day for us.

Wedding at the Canary Shed
We had an amazing wedding here- Jade and the team are great and the venue is so colourful and beautiful and chill, great for queer weddings! It worked really well to stay on site with the family beforehand - it was very child and dog friendly, with lots of places for babies to sleep during the wedding too :) I would highly recommend.

Incredible venue and team
Our wedding weekend was incredible, we can’t stop smiling and laughing at all the moments that made it so special and fun. We can't thank you and the rest of the Canary Shed team enough for helping to make our day better than we could have imagined, from the detailed planning sessions beforehand to holding up our friends 3 year old so he could be a part of the Photo Booth, your input and organisation skills allowed us to relax and for both us and all our guests to really enjoy the day. Our guests keep telling us how much fun they had and how friendly and helpful you and the team were. We will forever be grateful and The Canary Shed will hold a special place in our hearts.

The most perfect day 💕
If I could give 100 stars I would. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, Jade and Paige made our whole experience so stress free and relaxing. The facilities and accommodation are absolutely perfect and dog friendly too which was perfect for having our dog part of our day. I cannot be more grateful to everyone at the Canary Shed for all their help and wonderful staff 🤍

One Of The Best Day Of Our Lives ❤️
We had the BEST wedding at the Canary Shed and this is all down to Jade, Paige and the team - all communication was clear with multiple emails and meet ups; checking in to make sure we were ok and not at one point did we feel at all stressed about the wedding!
As for the the big day itself - it ran so smoothly and the fact that we knew we had the venue for the 3 days made it the most relaxed and chilled vibe; knowing we could set it up on the Friday and create it how we wanted and also having the accommodation literally a stones throw away made it that extra bit special.
The accommodation was well equipped with everything you needed; the beds were super comfy and it was so nice to have a meal the night in 'The Granary' before the wedding with all family and friends to celebrate! The fact that there's a great café on site that does amazing food and spa too means that there's options for everyone!
So please if you're looking for a wedding with that special touch, relaxed and colourful vibe.. look no further - The Canary Shed is the place for you!

The most unbelievable venue
I cannot explain how amazing it was to have our wedding reception at The Canary Shed. Jade and Paige go above and beyond at every meeting and are always available over email or phone.
The Canary Shed was the perfect venue to celebrate with our friends and family starting on the Friday night all the way through to Sunday afternoon.
The accommodation was brilliant allowing everyone space to mingle and get the party started with grazing boards from The Parlour Cafe and I can tell you it was yummy & breakfast was no disappointment either with friendly staff and food to get the wedding morning started.
The care and attention from Jade and team was indescribable and I will forever be thankful.
