“The staff at Taplow House were amazingly professional and ensured that myself and my husband had no worries on the day and were able to relax and enjoy things. There were a few things we realised we had forgotten to do and the staff quickly fixed these for us (even though this was not part of the "package") which meant that we had a perfect day! The venue also is very versatile meaning we could have separate spaces for the ceremony, breakfast and dancing but still have everything in one place!! This all made for a very relaxing and enjoyable day :-)”

Dear Melissa Well, we have returned from our honeymoon, back to real life! We want to send heartfelt thanks for making our wedding day such a fabulous experience. The hotel service was excellent in every way, from the efficiency, patience and friendliness of all the staff to the super food, which was just what we asked for at the final tasting. We would recommend Taplow House Hotel to everyone – nothing was too much trouble. You, Melissa, have the uncommon combination of being on the ball, and at the same time relaxed, with a sense of humour. Also the young man who served at our tastings and behind the bar (very nice smile!), Anna, and the events manager all deserve mention. We have had feedback from the guests who stayed about the high standard of the room cleanliness and kindness of staff. I cannot believe that a week has passed since we celebrated our son's wedding at Taplow House. The visitors have all left and I am now coming down to earth and from the minute we arrived on the Thursday evening until we left on Saturday lunch time we were made very welcome and felt at ease from the word go. We could not fault the staff, organisation, food or venue and the weather was the icing on the cake. Who would believe we would be sitting out a midnight or eating breakfast on the terrace on October 1st. Many of the guests made a point of expressing their enjoyment of the day. Please pass on our thanks to all the staff involved for what was a day to remember for all the right reasons. It was wonderful!

Hi Melissa Thank you so much for all your help organising our wedding day. I was so nervous before the ceremony but we had such an amazing day and all the staff were brilliant. The food was perfect and so many guests mentioned that it was the best wedding breakfast they had ever had!! The day ran so smoothly and that can only be down to the planning and the professionalism of the staff. The guests thought that it was great having a seperate evening area, which meant that there was no need to wait for the room to be turned around. All the flowers got moved downstairs and it looked lovely. There was more than enough hot sandwiches to go round, so we needn't have been worried about that! The private breakfast in the morning, complete with our flower arrangements was a lovely surprise and allowed all the guests to meet up again in the morning. We can't thank you enough for arranging that. We would highly recommend Taplow House Hotel as a wedding venue to anyone getting married. Thanks so much again for everything. Kindest regards Melissa

Dear Aimee and Anna, Just wanted to thank you both for making our wedding day so special. We both enjoyed it enormously and had such fun as did our guests. One or two wanted me especially thank your staff Anna, they said that it was very rare these days to be treated with such courtesy while also being friendly and they loved the duck ! Thank you Aimee for guiding me through the whole thing from beginning to end, you made it so easy, I really did feel as though I was at an amazing party with of course one or two serious moments......It was really such a happy day. On another note , we might have mislaid one or two cards/gifts from our guests, they might not have seen the post box or something, so If you find anything could you please let me know. Thank you. Hey Aimee, We both want to say a huge thank you to you personally and everybody at Taplow for helping us have the best day we could ever have wished for. One of the main reasons we chose Taplow initially (aside from the beautiful hotel itself) was the assistance and manner of the staff from the very first day we met you. Everything we asked for was dealt with immediately and without fuss. Your help in the build up was invaluable. It made the whole process so enjoyable and easy. We honestly couldn't have asked for more. We would also appreciate it if you could pass on our heartfelt thanks to Anna for all her work on the day and into the night. I know a few of the lads made very good friends with some of the staff and even the morning staff...I hope they didnt drive them crazy! All the staff's patience in every regard was outstanding. I also want to thank you for the assistance you provided throughout the day for Ger Parkinson who was the one disabled guest. She said that of all the places she has stayed over the years she has never received such genuinely attentive help and consideration. She is a very close friend of my family and it meant so much to me and my parents that she felt this way. So, once again, thank you so much for everything. You guys have a wonderful team and everyone should get married at your hotel! I'm sure we'll be back. We will certainly never forget the place! Niall and Sarah.

Hi Melissa I just wanted to drop you an email to say a huge thank you for everything you and your team at Taplow House did to help make our wedding day absolutely perfect! Right from the start of our planning, you have been fantastic at answering all my (and my parents!!) little queries, nothing has ever been a problem to arrange and everything was dealt with really professionally and you and the team were always really friendly. Our day was the most amazing day ever, right from when we arrived every last detail was arranged perfectly and the level of service provided was second to none, we felt so proud to have our guests at such a wonderful venue. The table staff were brilliant in that a few of our guests were a little awkward and requested the vegetarian option when their salmon was served, the staff dealt with this without Matt and I even realising and provided the vegetarian option without any questions or problems. Despite the awkward guests, everyone commented on how amazing the food was and are still commenting on this now! The reception staff were also brilliant, really friendly and also helpful with our little boy Isaac! We absolutely loved every single thing about our day and couldn’t have picked a better venue with better staff who helped make our day the best day ever! Thank you so much again Emma and Matt Short
