We got married at Taplow House Hotel in October 2012 and had the most amazing day. Gabrielle and the rest of the team at Taplow made sure the day was perfect, ran like clockwork and helped so much in the lead up to the big day. The hotel and grounds are beautiful, the staff were so friendly and everyone who attended said how brilliant the day was and was probably one of the best weddings they had been to, in terms of venue, staff and service. The food at our wedding breakfast was absolutly perfect and in fact even better than when we had our tasting, a feat considering they were catering for well over 60 people instead of just the two of us! If we could do it all over again, we probably would!

As mother of the bride, I would like to say thank you to Melissa and all the staff at Taplow House Hotel for making my daughters wedding a truly wonderful occasion. On our first visit to the hotel we had a really good feeling about the place so did not look at any other venue. We felt so at home because of the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The wedding day could not have been better - everything went seamlessly. All our guests commented on a what a beautiful venue Taplow House Hotel is and thoroughly enjoyed the day. Hi Gabrielle My new husband and I got married at Taplow House Hotel and it was the best day of our lives. We decided on Taplow House as we thought it was more of a cosy country hotel compared to some other venues we visited, suited the numbers we had for our wedding and had lovely grounds and rooms. From the beginning our hotel wedding coordinator, Gabrielle, was fantastic in making sure we had covered all areas for our civil service, wedding breakfast and evening party. On the day of the wedding everything ran smoothly. The wedding breakfast 3 course meal was delicious, the service of the staff was excellent and friendly and the evening buffet was soon polished off and reports from guests was it was tasty. Taplow House - thank you so much for making our wedding day so special.

OUR WEDDING DAY RAN LIKE CLOCKWORK
Hi Gabrielle We just wanted to say a big thank you for making sure our wedding day ran like clockwork. After months of planning it all eventually came together for the day. Everyone loved the wedding reception canapies and wedding breakfast - very tasty and after a late night partying the breakfast in the private room was great. The venue looked fantastic on the day and our guests thought it was lovely. Thanks so much.

The Best Wedding
Hi Gabrielle We had the best wedding thanks to Taplow. We couldn't have asked for a prettier venue. The staff were great too so thanks for everything. When we get back from honeymoon I will write a recommendation for Justine too as she was superb. “The staff at Taplow House were amazingly professional and ensured that myself and my husband had no worries on the day and were able to relax and enjoy things. There were a few things we realised we had forgotten to do and the staff quickly fixed these for us (even though this was not part of the "package") which meant that we had a perfect day! The venue also is very versatile meaning we could have separate spaces for the ceremony, breakfast and dancing but still have everything in one place!! This all made for a very relaxing and enjoyable day :-)”

The hotel service was excellent in every way, from the efficiency, patience and friendliness of all the staff to the super food, which was just what we asked for at the final tasting. We would recommend Taplow House Hotel to everyone – nothing was too much trouble. You, Melissa, have the uncommon combination of being on the ball, and at the same time relaxed, with a sense of humour. Also the young man who served at our tastings and behind the bar (very nice smile!), Anna, and the events manager all deserve mention. I cannot believe that a week has passed since we celebrated our son's wedding at Taplow House. The visitors have all left and I am now coming down to earth and from the minute we arrived on the Thursday evening until we left on Saturday lunch time we were made very welcome and felt at ease from the word go. We could not fault the staff, organisation, food or venue and the weather was the icing on the cake. Who would believe we would be sitting out a midnight or eating breakfast on the terrace on October 1st. Many of the guests made a point of expressing their enjoyment of the day. Please pass on our thanks to all the staff involved for what was a day to remember for all the right reasons. It was wonderful!

Hi Melissa Thank you so much for all your help organising our wedding day. I was so nervous before the ceremony but we had such an amazing day and all the staff were brilliant. The food was perfect and so many guests mentioned that it was the best wedding breakfast they had ever had!! The day ran so smoothly and that can only be down to the planning and the professionalism of the staff. The guests thought that it was great having a seperate evening area, which meant that there was no need to wait for the room to be turned around. All the flowers got moved downstairs and it looked lovely. There was more than enough hot sandwiches to go round, so we needn't have been worried about that! The private breakfast in the morning, complete with our flower arrangements was a lovely surprise and allowed all the guests to meet up again in the morning. We can't thank you enough for arranging that. We would highly recommend Taplow House Hotel as a wedding venue to anyone getting married. Thanks so much again for everything. Kindest regards Melissa
