Ash House is a magnificent 17th century, Queen Anne Manor House standing in its own 2 acre grounds of beautifully secluded landscaped gardens in the quintessentially english hamlet of Ash, South Somerset and provides a unique backdrop for an intimate and magical country manor marquee wedding with quite simply everything you could desire for an unforgettable day. Wendy the owner is launching the historic Ash House again for the first time in 15 years as a stunning wedding venue and are keen to offer couples total flexibility in their choices of suppliers and with the assistance, if required, of Wendy's 'little black wedding book directory" of the best of the best caterers, florists, wedding planners and bridal designers and outfitters in the South West. Wendy aims to top your own expectations of the day and help you both to create the most ultimate Wedding Day experience.

Facilities and Capacity

Ash House plans to offer Weddings for 40 to 150 guests, throughout the season including the winter months where possible but is limiting the number of Weddings to 12 per year so everything about your day will be beautifully bespoke. Your Wedding Weekend will be "exclusive-use" only for you, and the accommodation "the Annexe" has a lavish "hotel boutique feel" connected to the Manor with 4 beautifully designed bedrooms which sleep upto10. 1 night's stay is included in the hire of the venue with additional nights as an extra. The Bridal Suite with a vintage french bed and heady '70s vibe palm print wallpaper from House of Hackney, overlooks the gardens where you will be able to see the marquee and your approach to it winding through a lantern lit Camilla and Lilac Walk way to the entrance of the marquee. Ash House is a photographers dream providing stunning backdrops from the white iceberg rose archway to the rose walled garden, and newly designed Mediterranean garden a wonderful pre or post outdoor Dining area with its Olive trees and scented lavender beds. Car parking is available for all guests within the grounds of the Manor.

As an ultimate Wedding extra Ash House has its own "Mini-Spa" experience for the Bride & Groom to both pre and post wedding day. There is a luxury Treatment Room as part of the Annexe offering stunning Massage, Facials, and Manicure and Pedicure, and a luxury mobile Sauna with cold plunge is also available to hire as an extra. There are several beautiful rooms for the Bride and her Bridesmaids to feel totally pampered in surrounded by the luxurious furnishings of the Annexe and Manor House and offers a unique space for you to all enjoy and get ready for your big day.
