Stretton Manor Barn is a unique and exclusive wedding venue set within 22 acres of Derbyshire countryside. The barn is full of rustic charm, with reclaimed stonework and traditional timber cladding.
The most memorable weddings are those with energy. A rare energy which quickly gathers momentum and grows in confidence, until it becomes an unstoppable celebration of love, laughter and excitement.
We believe in the power of design! No more long and narrow rooms, broken and separate spaces or inaccessible outdoor areas. We are a contemporary barn conversion, “one of a kind” impeccably designed with open plan and connected spaces, home to the most enjoyable celebrations!
Stretton Manor Barn was lovingly built back in 2020 exclusively for weddings. The luxuriously designed open plan spaces and 8m bifold doors lead you to panoramic views of the surrounding Derbyshire countryside.
Natural rustic materials including reclaimed stonework, traditional timber cladding and handcrafted oak furniture provide a beautiful contrast to the soft, contemporary, and refined bar and lounge interior.
We offer you the choice of an indoor or outdoor wedding ceremony for up to 100 guests, a capacity of 140 guests for a wedding banquet and up to 160 guests throughout the evening.
You can enjoy exclusive use of the barn and all couples have access for photographs within a further 22 acres of private grass meadows and wonderful native hedgerows. Fairy lights, chandeliers, freestanding firepits and outdoor heaters all help to give the barn a beautiful and natural glow.

Just perfect in every way
Stretton Manor Barn was the most perfect and beautiful venue for our wedding day. Ellie and the team were incredible from our first viewing all the way through to the day. Nothing was too much to ask and we were made to feel so special.
The barn itself is beautiful and the food is AMAZING! All of our guests loved every part of it, we can’t thank the team enough for making our day everything we dreamed of.

Stretton Manor Barn - October 2025 wedding
We got married at Stretton Manor Barn on October 2025 and it was the perfect venue for us. The venue itself is beautiful, and so much work goes into making your day exactly as you want it to be.
The whole team there are great, so helpful and friendly. Amanda was our coordinator and was amazing in the run up and even more so on the day, she made everything flow so smoothly.
The food was incredible! We’ve had so many guests tell us it was the best wedding food they’d ever had.
We honestly had the best day getting married and a lot of that was down to Stretton Manor. I would highly recommend this to any couple looking for a memorable and stress free wedding!
Special thanks again to Amanda for everything, and to Kate the bar manager who was brilliant at looking after us in the evening.

Such an incredible venue
Our wedding at Stretton Manor Barn was the best day ever!
The whole process with them was incredible. From going to view it initially, to the canapés evening, to the day itself - everything was perfect. The team helped us through the whole process of planning, answering any questions we had and helping us to find vendors. They were always on hand and very quick to respond.
The venue itself is beautiful - relaxed, comfortable and set in what feels like the middle of nowhere. Exactly what we wanted! We loved that it was all in one room so nobody missed out on anything. The views out the back are beautiful for photos too!
Wedding food is normally quite standard, however not here. Everything was cooked to perfection. All of our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was! The canapés, the main meal, and the evening food - all was incredible. Nobody went hungry! The sharing plates are a great touch and work perfectly with the long tables.
Ellie, our wedding coordinator, was amazing. She told us not to worry about anything, and that if we weren’t thinking about timings etc then she was doing her job properly. This is exactly what happened. We trusted her 100% and at no point were wondering what was supposed to be happening. At one point, I had no idea if it was 8PM or 10PM - we were truly living in the moment, making the most of our day!
A special shoutout to the bar staff too, who kept checking on us throughout the day, making sure our drinks were always topped up!
Everything about our day was perfect. We want to do it all over again! Another bonus is the restaurant nights they do - so we can go back and reminisce and enjoy the food all over again!

A dream wedding come true 🤍
Having our wedding at Stretton Manor Barn really was a dream come true for my younger self. The venue is absolutely stunning from the barn to the outside views. On top of that the staff were incredibly helpful and really made you feel at ease and centre of attention throughout every step. Nothing was too much to ask, even down to wanting mock set ups to really get a feel of what everything is going to look like. This place really contributed to making the dreams ive had since a little girl come true and then some. The food is absolutely incredible and has left our guests in awe at the presentation - its still being talked about now. From the magic touches they also provide such as the supplier evening, you go through such a journey with this venue and it really is the best choice that you will make.

Our August 2025 Wedding
Where to begin. We got married at Stretton Manor Barn on the 7th August 2025. Stretton Manor Barn made our dream become a reality it was absolutely perfect, more than we could have ever imagined. We managed to get married outside which was just perfect.
Our wedding coordinator Ellie was amazing, from coordinating our day and being there throughout the whole process with my one too many emails! Heidi for what I could gather from the bridal shed trying to get all our crazy guests seated, which looked a struggle but completely managed it! The wait staff constantly stocking everyone up with food, they had a fair few shout outs! Dean for being the best DJ we could ask for. Lastly Kate who took over from Ellie, she was an absolute star. I can't imagine it's easy dealing with a drunken lot of wedding guests, she was always checking in on us, which we were so grateful for.
The venue is just so perfect, all of our guests said it. The amount of guests we had coming up to us saying it's the best wedding they've ever been to. After planning it for almost 2 and half years it was the best thing we could have heard. We are the biggest foodies and the food was always going to be a deal breaker on which venue we booked. It was out of this world, perfection.
We're so sad this journey is over and the day is done. We wish we could do it all over again. I couldn’t recommend this venue enough.

The perfect venue for our special day!
We couldn’t have chosen a better venue for our wedding! From start to finish, the whole experience had such a personal, intimate family feel. The whole team made us feel so supported throughout the planning process - every single member of staff was polite, friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. From the very first moment we walked into the venue, we just knew it was the one. It was the only place we looked at, because we instantly fell in love with it — it had everything we wanted and more.
Amanda has been an absolute superstar throughout the whole journey, always there whenever we needed advice, reassurance, or just a quick chat to calm the nerves. Heidi has been equally wonderful, and together they made us feel so supported every step of the way. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and it really felt like they cared about our day just as much as we did.
The venue itself is just stunning, inside and out. Surrounded by 22 acres of land, the outdoor space is every bit as breathtaking as the inside — the views, the grounds, the atmosphere, everything was picture-perfect and gave us the most beautiful backdrop for our special day.
And then there was the food… wow. Honestly, it was next level. Not only did it look incredible, but the quality and taste were out of this world. So many of our guests have commented on how amazing it was, and we couldn’t agree more.

Amazing Day
My wife and I got married at Stretton Manor Barn in November 2024, and from the moment we stepped in, we knew it was the perfect venue. Although some of our guests jokingly described it as being "in the middle of nowhere," they had no trouble finding it, and the location offered an incredible sense of peace and privacy.
The staff at Stretton Manor Barn were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. They made our day completely stress-free, addressing every question (no matter how random) and ensuring that our guests’ dietary needs were fully accommodated. On the day itself, Ellie was fantastic. She kept everything running smoothly, calmed our nerves, and ensured everyone was in the right place at the right time. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to manage the day.
Now, the food—it was, hands down, the best we’ve ever had at a wedding. We started with a Prosecco and canapé evening where we sampled the available main courses, and we had a hard time choosing just one! On the big day, the food was outstanding. It arrived promptly, and guests could serve themselves generous portions or even haggle over the last piece of lamb! Every guest we spoke to said it was the best wedding food they had ever had, amazed by both the quality and variety. Even though we were too full to try the evening food, those who did still rave about it two months later.

We did share a common sentiment expressed in other reviews: during the lead-up to the big day, it felt a little strange not having one specific point of contact until about six weeks out. However, any queries we had before that were always answered promptly and efficiently, so it didn’t impact our overall experience.

Incredible venue
We had our wedding day at Stretton Manor Barn on the 10th November. It is a stunning venue, intimate, cosy, modern, perfect for our autumn wedding. I like how it’s all one big room so you don’t lose track of guests! Even though it was November we also made use out the outdoor space with the patio heaters, under cover sofas and fire pits and weren’t cold at all. The staff were so good on the day, they kept checking in on us, made sure we had our own canapés and always had a drink in our hand. They kept us up to speed with what was next etc so I really couldn’t fault them. Making sure we had a taxi back to our accommodation was also great. The food is also incredible! By far the best I’ve had at a wedding. Unfortunately with the wedding nerves I barely touched mine but what I did have was amazing! Wish I could go back and have it as a guest.
There were only a couple of things where I thought but there was a bit of room for improvement, but still worthy of 5 stars. Communication on the run up was a bit sporadic until we were allocated our wedding coordinator 6 weeks before and I didn’t really like how I was speaking to someone different every time. I also had to chase for our final meeting to be arranged as I could see our last payment approaching and no one had been in touch. Also on the day I’d been very thorough with the seating plan but some high chairs were in the wrong spot which me and my husband spotted luckily. Also the kids food came out quite late, they didn’t have starters so I thought it would have been good to bring them out before the adult mains as the little ones were getting hungry/restless.
I loved our wedding here and would 100% have it here again, hope I get to return as a guest on day!
