Stanmer House offers you a truly romantic setting for your wedding, located in a picturesque country park, with wonderful photographic opportunities all around.
We can cater for initmate weddings of up to 50 guests at Stanmer, in a relaxed and friendly setting, which you and your guests will love. Couples can hold their wedding breakfast with us also either in our marquee or one of the dining rooms in the restaurant. We can make bespoke packages to suit every budget and take the stress away for you.
Stanmer House is in the Brighton & Hove Registration District, and we are able to offer you the unique opportunity of holding your Civil Wedding or Civil Partnership Ceremony here. Stanmer House allows Ceremonies on any day of the week, including Bank Holidays, but the law requires that it should take place between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm.
Stanmer House Brighton, a beautiful 18thCentury Manor House set in acres of stunning woodland and parkland in the heart ofSussex, nestled between the sea and the South Downs just 10 minutes fromBrighton. Steeped in history, this manor house has been beautifully restored and encompasses stylish and contemporary designs.
The fantastic restaurant spreads across three decorative rooms in the house with views opening out on to the perfectly mown lawns. Open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, guests are welcome to come and relax by one of the open fires with a coffee, meet friends for a drink in the house bar or celebrate a family occasion in our private dining room. The food is cooked by our in-house team of award winning chefs using locally sourced quality ingredients. The wine is interesting and quaffable and the ales will be highly favourable and well kept.
Set within the countryside the house is also and ideal stop off for walkers and dogs alike that are welcome in the lounge and bar area.
Stanmer House can also offer facilities for intimate wedding ceremonies and drinks receptions along with conferencing and corporate events.
