Our wedding was perfect from start to finish and everything ran so seamlessly, the team were so professional and demonstrated their amazing expertise throughout.

To Rodrigo, there are not enough words I can say to thank you for helping me feel so calm in the lead up and on the day. Your time, patience and kindness meant the world to me, you were extremely accommodating throughout and you carried out the vision for our wedding perfectly. Every single guest was catered for and you made sure everyone was happy. I was in awe of how you managed the room and instructed the team so efficiently. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to run the day for us. Thank you for all your support and for giving us the most wonderful day.

To Peter, our toastmaster, thank you for ensuring the day ran so smoothly and for managing the guests so well, they were always engaged and followed your lead when needed. You were enthusiastic and reassuring throughout and the day flowed perfectly thanks to you. Thank you for keeping us calm and enabling us to enjoy our day wholeheartedly, without stressing about any details. We will always be grateful that you took the pressure off us so that we could be in the moment with our guests.

To the wonderful ladies who communicated with us throughout the lead up to the wedding, thank you for your patience with me and for answering all my questions. No question was too silly and you were always incredibly supportive about any thoughts or decision making I shared with you.

Thank you to all the team that worked with Rodrigo on our wedding day, each and every member of staff were amazing and we are so pleased we chose to have our day at Mottram Hall with such a wonderful team. We hope to see everyone again throughout our many future visits at the hotel ☺️

We had our wedding reception at Mottram hall, everyone commented on how amazing it was, and we couldn’t have been happier.
I was particularly impressed with the service at the wedding breakfast. Everything was so well organised, ran perfectly to time, and the food was absolutely delicious.
The whole Mottram Hall team were amazing from start to finish and played such a huge part in making our wedding day so special.

Paul and the team were absolutely incredible on our wedding day. The day ran so smoothly, and was just perfect. The team worked so hard to ensure we had the most amazing day. I loved how they made sure we had our own special moments alone during the day.

Not sure where to start...i was massively let down by mottram hall Cheshire for my wedding day, they didn't meet my expectations what so ever. We ended up getting married on the hottest day of the year, this was evident the week leading up to the wedding however mottram failed to tell us that a lot of their rooms dont have the basics such as air con! This was awful the two nights we and alot of guests spent a lot of money on staying over with no communication of how hot it will be in the rooms we had babies and elderly people staying at the hotel and all they might supply is one table fan. The morning of the wedding was horrible to get ready in the prep room, air con wasnt working in the prep room (they knew this the day before did nothing about it, my hair stylist said shes been coming to mottram for awhile and its always been like that) there was towels left on the floor by the air con and the sofa which we soon realised is due to the air con leaking water so the carpet was flooded this came with a smell, all what you dont want when getting ready for your wedding day with expensive dresses around. A tiny window and a table fan was all we got in a room of 7 women, hair and makeup, photographer and videographer, it was horrendous. Pre planned breakfast didn't arrive we had to go downstairs and chase this up 2 hours later then planned, we had to go down and ask for water noone came to check in on us and make sure we were happy and had everything we needed throughout instead my bridesmaids were running back and forth trying to ask reception for things. Noone came to give us prompts on what was happening down stairs and when to get ready this resulted in utter chaos and being 30mins late, it was our photographer who took it upon himself to give us an update. It was pre planned our bags needed to be out of the prep room before the ceremony as requested by mottram and someone will come and puts tags on to take to peoples room, noone came so this became another issue for everyone and instead bags were put in our bridal suite which i specifically did not want. It was planned someone would ask us the morning of if we wanted the ceremony outside or inside, noone asked us i found out by looking out the window as chairs we dragged up onto the gardens, (with it being so ridiculously hot we would've opted for it indoors). We had a golf buddy to take elderly/vulnerable guests too and from the ceremony across the lawn, the driver drove away without checking the guests were seated and my auntie flew off the cart and broke her wrist needing to be blue lighted to hospital for surgery, we didnt get even an apology from mottram hall for this. The sit down meal we had the chicken with potato, the potato wasnt cooked and was hard for us and all guests, guests were asking for the meal to be sent back. It was so disappointing and embarrassing. Especially with how much you pay for the meal for each guest. The Bridal suite didn't have anything in the mini bar, not even water (on the hottest night). I was woken up 6:00am by another bridal party starting their wedding in the prep room opposite which i thought was really poor of mottram. For mottram to book another wedding straight after ours the next morning it took away the spark of our wedding it felt that ours was done now, thats it and move onto the next one. It was incredibly awkward and choatic with us and all our guests and the next wedding and all their guests all trying to sort ourselves out; us and our decorators trying to take away our decorations whilst the next wedding decorators trying to set up theres. It was chaos. To top it all off any outstanding money was planned to be paid at checkout, there was nothing to be paid at check out but then i get an email whilst on my honeymoon with a bill that needed to be paid which was incorrect of £1000 with no apology or remorse for the fact that they nearly charged me an unnecessary extra £1000 because they couldn't do their job of checking beforehand. I didn't need this on my honeymoon! Mottram obviously only care about the money from weddings and they dont care about your experience or feelings. I felt so let down by mottram hall on what was supposed to be one of the best days of my life, my expectations was not met and for the price you pay, the attention let alone attention to detail just was not there at all.

We had the most amazing experience with our wedding venue! Everything was fantastic from start to finish and really good value for money. The food was lovely, and all of our guests had a great time.
A special mention to our coordinator, Netty, who was absolutely brilliant throughout the whole process. She was always happy to help, answer any questions and made the run-up to our wedding so much easier and stress-free.

Our toastmaster, Peter, was also fantastic and helped everything run smoothly on the day. We couldn’t have asked for a better team and would highly recommend the venue to anyone looking for the perfect wedding day! ❤️

Mottram Hall was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we booked through to the day itself, everything was so well organised and ran smoothly. The team were professional, attentive, and made sure everything came together exactly as we wanted.

The space looked beautiful and created such a great atmosphere for both the ceremony and reception. The food was excellent and the service throughout the day was spot on.

We felt completely taken care of, which made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding day.

We got married at Mottram Hall on 29/12/2025 and it was the most amazing day. From all the planning to on the day, the staff at Mottram were amazing throughout and could not do enough for us. Everything that you get included in the package is incredible, the food and drinks tasting, the honeymoon suite, the toastmaster and more. The venue itself was perfect for what we wanted, beautiful spaces to have pictures everywhere. On the day the food was just as amazing as it was when we tried it, everything went so smoothly and the staff made the day absolutely amazing! We couldn’t thank them enough. We would highly recommend having your wedding at Mottram Hall!

We got married October 2024 and had the most wonderful day! From when we booked our day to the days after, the professionalism and service was amazing. All the guests and vendors commented on how well organised everything was, the whole day ran so smoothly, we felt totally relaxed and looked after.. I would highly recommend Mottram hall to anyone getting married, the value for money is out of this world!

We married at Mottram Hall 3 weeks ago, what a beautiful location! The weather wasn't kind to us (apparently it's supposed to be lucky if it rains on your wedding day?!) however we have gorgeous pictures as Mottram's interior is just as beautiful as the outside! I would just like to start by saying from the first moment we booked our wedding with yourself at Mottram Hall, it's been such a lovely experience.
Yourself and all the other staff around the hotel have been amazing.
Katrina was on the ball all day, everything was where I expected it to be and if it couldn't be done she came to ask me if her plan b was ok to do. Shes such a lovely women so please thank her again for everything.
I would like to thank James who on Friday night was giving me morning wedding advice and on the morning of the wedding he caught me at the bottom of the stairs to remind me of his advice and he was right, as soon as I got to the other end of that aisle my best friend was waiting for me. :)
I wanted to send you a few photos/videos just so you get to see each part of our day as you've heard my plans for 2 years and it will be nice for you to see it in action.

We got married at Mottram Hall in September and it was a truly amazing day. From the moment we booked this place the Netty was attentive and incredibly helpful. On the day Joel also went above and beyond before and during the wedding. The rooms are beautiful, the food is incredible, the gardens are amazing and above all else you’re always welcomed with a smile.
Such a special place to us.

Firstly, I just want to say thank you to you Alex. From start to finish you've been fantastic and made everything so easy! It was such a relief to be able to pop you over a quick email, and know that you were there to help us with anything we needed.

Next, I'd like to thank all of the staff who took care of us on the wedding day. Honestly, the day couldn't have been more perfect.

Peter, the toastmaster was absolutely fantastic. On the day of the wedding he made sure everything was running like clockwork. It was lovely to know that I didn't have to worry about anything and that Peter would be there to guide us through the entire day. Especially when it came to walking down the aisle, he managed to make things so relaxing!

Joel was extremely helpful and accommodating. Anything we asked for before / on the day he did with a smile on his face. The room set up was fantastic, all the things we'd given over were set up exactly as we wanted and I knew that if I needed anything else during the day I'd only have to speak to Joel and it would be sorted. I'd also like to thank Paul for when he took over the night shift, again everything ran like clockwork.

Alison also did a fantastic job with the decorating. The room looked perfect, better than I could have imagined!

Everyone we worked with throughout the entire process was so accommodating, helpful and genuinely happy to help us and determined to make our day exactly what we wanted. For that, I just want to say thank you on behalf of me and my new husband.

Everything was amazing from beginning to end. It was honestly such a perfect day! All of our guests were blown away by the food, the service and of course the spectacular venue, which looked even better in the sunshine (all that crossing of fingers must have worked). All we kept hearing from our friends and family was how nobody could believe how stunning a wedding it was, and all pulled off in less than 5 months!

The rooms for the wedding party were lovely so, again, thank you so much for organising them. It was really nice to be close together and we couldn't have imagined a better setting to be getting ready for the big day in. We also really appreciated the little touches like the card and bottle of prosecco in our room.

Please do pass on our thanks to James, Joel and Katrina for all their efforts on the day. We felt like we were in safe (but fun) hands the entire time and it really allowed us to relax and enjoy the day without any worries about timings or logistics. We wouldn't have been able to have such a magical day without them. Thanks again for everything and to the whole team!
