A wonderful heavily timbered house with Inglenook fireplaces that dates way back to the 17th century. In the grounds are the remains of what is reputed to be part of the Abbey of Wendling, founded by Sir William de Wendling in 1267.Scarning Dale is the perfect setting for an idealistic bespoke wedding. We can cater for all of the elements of your wedding from the ceremony through to the reception. If you would prefer a church wedding then Scarning Dale is the perfect venue for your wedding breakfast and evening entertainment.Scarning Dale can offer a licensed ceremony room, converted barn for your reception or if you would prefer, the perfect setting for a marquee. Many people would like to have a marquee reception, but do not have the access to the setting. The gardens and paddocks at Scarning Dale provide the perfect setting for a bespoke marquee ceremony.

Fantastic venue!I highly recommend this venue. Personalized service and immaculate accomodations. Gorgeous grounds. The tea and other foods were very well presented and tasty. We loved the old main house and stone walls. The owner gives you fantastic service and attention.
