A magical and unusual place for a wedding, for those who want something a little different. This beautiful and unique wedding venue in the style of an American New England barn is set in the heart of the Romney Marsh on the the Kent/East Sussex boarders and is surrounded by stunning open countryside. Only 10 minutes from the quaint cobbled streets of Rye and the magnificent sand dunes of Camber, this is an area of outstanding history and natural beauty.
We have capacity for up to 120 guests for the ceremony with ample space in our 3 acre grounds for a marquee for up to 200. If you prefer a church wedding then we are also within easy distance of many of Romney Marsh's famous and ancient churches, including the secluded and romantic 16th century Fairfield Church. Bridal accommodation is also available either in the main barn or in our romantic, rustic cabin, while there are plenty of local hotels, b&bs and self catering accommodation in the near vicinity for the bridal party and guests.
Organising your big day couldn't be easier as we have access to lots of local services including caterers, photographers, marquee hire, bridal styling and florists.
Owned by husband and wife team Atlanta Bartlett and Dave Coote who have both successfully worked in the magazine, photography and design industries for the last 20 years producing books, interiors, furniture, products, sets, magazines features and cabins, both together and individually, that have been highly sought after by those “in the know”. Their combined client list ranges from Laura Ashley, John Lewis and Habitat to Elle Deco, Living etc and Red magazine and they now run their own online boutique homeware store Pale & Interesting.
Often used as a a photographic location this elegant wedding venue has graced the pages of magazines and catalogues from House & Garden, Living etc and Homes & Gardens to The White Company and Cath Kidston. It has been designed and decorated with all the style and flair that they are so famous for, making it the perfect backdrop for your special day.
