Although the day itself was incredible, so was the 12 month build up! It sounds cliche but as soon as we set foot in Healey Barn we knew it was for us. The staff and co-ordinators are fantastic, responsive, professional, but also relaxed. We attended a few times prior to the wedding day - always made to feel welcome and heard. Our person of contact predominantly was Jack R - an absolute credit to the venue and to Cripps & Co. The day exceeded expectations by far and our guests have given us such incredible feedback about the venue and the way it was ran. We cannot recommend Healey Barn enough. From the very first minute we stepped foot at the front doors we were in love - all other upcoming viewings we had booked were cancelled. We knew instantly this was the venue for us. There are so many elements that we need to applaud.
Firstly, the sense of community; Healey Barn and their staff aren’t just there for the wedding day, they’re there for any emails, planning calls, feast nights and visits. Exactly a month before our wedding we visited for their street food night which was amazing, my parents are a bit fussy with food but even they loved every bite.
Secondly, the venue itself. It’s so beautiful as is, of course you can dress it up but we saved some serious cash by feeling like we didn’t need to go over and beyond with decor and flowers. It’s versatile, good for all weathers. So many different settings for photos. Just so, so beautiful.
Thirdly, the staff! Absolutely flawless. We had Jack R and Jack S for our day time and night time and they were truly elite. So on the ball, so on top of everything and anything. The biggest of thanks to our to them. Also another special shout out to the waitress with pink hair (I asked her name and have totally forgotten in the whirlwind of the day - sorry!!), such a beautiful soul, so kind and caring, went above and beyond for everyone there!! Also, all the staff who helped in the run up, Leanne and Sarah especially who answered my many emails and made sure we were happy every time!!

Overall, we had support from day one and never once worried or stressed (beyond the usual!) about the day. The day was flawless, they decorated exactly as I imagined, the vibes were immaculate and every single part was easy.
We will definitely be back for the feast nights and are so so glad Healey Barn will forever be part of our lives 🩷🧡

We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding day. A beautiful location, amazing food and incredible service.

On the lead up to the wedding, the staff were so responsive - always replying to our emails the same day. On the day, the serving staff were lovely and our wedding co-ordinators were calm but very diligent - making sure the day was exactly how we wanted it.

The food (canapes, wedding breakfast and evening food) was all stunning - getting lots of compliments from guests. The drinks (and choice of drinks) were great.

Moving into the Barn (where the ceremony takes place) for the evening party felt magical and the perfect size. The courtyard space was great for the reception drinks and for the moments when guests wanted to step outside for some fresh air and some quiet time. The dining room is light and bright with amazing views.

All in all, we felt the venue offered great value for money for the quality of the day - the reason we gave it a 4/5 is because there are some things that come at an extra cost which we don't think should do (e.g. flower wheel decoration and putting the disco ball up).

We are so happy with our decision and also staying at Healey Hall down the road the night before and after. This is the perfect venue if you want a relaxed but special day with the food, views and service on point.

We can’t put into words how magical our wedding day at Healey Barn was — it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we stepped foot on the grounds, we were blown away by the charm of the barn, the beautiful Northumberland countryside, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere.

The venue is absolutely stunning — the perfect mix of rustic charm and understated elegance. The candle-lit ceremony in the stone barn felt intimate and magical, and the reception space was just as breathtaking, especially with the soft lighting and relaxed vibe that carried into the evening.

And the food… wow! Everything was delicious, but we have to give a special mention to the brownies — they were unreal — and the evening pizza, which was a massive hit with all our guests. People are still talking about how good it was!

Healey Barn isn’t just a venue, it’s an experience — and one we’ll remember forever. We feel so lucky to have celebrated our day there and would recommend it wholeheartedly to any couple looking for somewhere truly special.

Healey Barn was the first venue we visited and from the moment we walked in we knew it was for us - Jack R and the team go above and beyond to make your day special and make it so easy to plan an incredible day due to their guidance and expertise. The communication throughout the planning process was faultless and nothing was too much trouble.
The food and drink at the venue is amazing and we cannot recommend it enough. We used a lot of suppliers recommended by Healey Barn (for example Healey Flowers and Sean Elliott (photography)) who were also brilliant and worked seamlessly with the venue - although Healey Barn also dealt with our suppliers that hadn't been to the venue before amazingly too and allowed them to integrate effortlessly. On the day the team guide you through the day with a calming influence and our guests were extremely complimentary about it all - especially the food and the whole team!

Special thanks to Jack R who was amazing throughout and incredible on the day and (Geordie) Jack who kept the party going on into the evening and was amazing too.

Having been to other venues, our concern was that many feel like a conveyor-belt but this couldn't be further from the truth here - the service you get is personalised from the moment you enquire to the wedding day.

From the moment we stepped into Healey Barn the day of our viewing appointment, we knew we wanted to get married there. The Barn is magical, the perfect mix of rustic and elegant and has been very tastefully refurbished. The whole planning process has been so smooth, the team has always responded to our emails promptly. We did not have a wedding planner but I did not even notice that, as the Healey Barn Team was always there to answer questions or help liaise, even with enquiries not directly concerning the venue. In a way it was as if the team was our personal wedding planners! The day itself was absolutely amazing, from start to finish every detail was taken care of, my now husband and I were able to relax and fully enjoy the day with our friends and families. Even though it is their business, the Healey Barn team never made us feel as if our wedding was just a transaction to them. They truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day absolutely perfect for us. Our friends and family were taken care of so well and were so impressed with the venue. I highly recommend booking your wedding at Healey Barn, for the most perfect memorable wedding day of your life.

10/10 – From the very start, Jack and the team were absolutely fantastic. Planning a wedding from overseas could have been stressful, but they made the entire process effortless. Their attention to detail was impeccable, and everything was seamlessly organised.

The venue itself is stunning and works perfectly. We got married in February, and it was incredible—even in winter. On a warm summer’s day, I can only imagine how magical it would be.

The food was nothing short of exceptional, think high-end restaurant quality. It was beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious.

Where to start… Healey Barn was the venue we looked at and we knew straight away it was the one for us. From the moment we booked our date in the team had been on hand for questions and kept in touch without the whole wedding planning journey. They made us feel at ease and not once did we have any concerns. When it came to the actual day it couldn’t have gone better. Healey barn were absolutely amazing. The staff were so helpful and professional- everything ran smoothly and I didn’t have to worry about anything on the day. We booked Healey barns for the reception only, as we wanted to get married in our local church. This worked so perfectly and Healey Barns had all the welcome drinks and canapes ready for when the guests arrived. As well as being on hand to greet us after we were getting some photos done. We have had so many complements from guests on how beautiful the venue was and many said the food was the best wedding food they have had, especially the BBQ beef which they could see cooking in the courtyard. The pizzas were also a hit in the evening as well.

All the staff at Healey Barns where very professional and helpful and you could tell from the first meeting when we viewed the Barn that you'd be in safe hands.

Cannot recommend Healey Barns enough to anyone and can't wait to get all the professional photos back and relive the day.

Healey Barn is just an absolutely exceptional venue - we could not recommend it enough!
From the minute we looked around we knew it was the perfect venue, and this was repeatedly confirmed in the run up to the wedding and the special day itself. Never a doubt in our mind!
The staff are incredible, with really speedy responses to any queries and they go above and beyond for you. Their expertise is brilliant and they go out of their way to make your day as you imagine.
They do this without ever being pushy in anyway to spend more money etc as some venues are!
The pictures of the venue speak for themself, it is absolutely stunning.
But the staff and the food are beyond perfect!
The day itself was seamless, all of our guests commented it was the best wedding food they had ever had! We had pizzas on the nighttime and they were wonderful too with leftovers boxed up for us to take home. All members of staff seem to thoroughly enjoy their job and were a delight to be around.
