My now husband and I viewed Cripps Barn for the first time in March 2024 and instantly knew it was the one for us. It's a big decision booking your venue, and every step of the way, the Cripps team made us feel supported with every question we had and every little detail we wanted to add. It's a big financial commitment as well, and their online platform helps to keep track of all your food & drink choices, upcoming payments, messages and more, which was great to have all in one place. On our day itself, the team seamlessly made sure everything was perfect and were unbelievably accommodating, friendly and professional. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and we are so thrilled we chose Cripps!

Perfect is an understatement to describe our experience with Cripps Barn from start to finish. From the minute we walked into the stunning barn 16 months before our wedding day, we knew it was the one for us. We were greeted by the lovely Emily - who honestly made us feel so special as though our wedding was the only one (despite how busy they are for good reason!) and nothing was too much trouble with our questions/queries. We booked Cripps Barn on the spot that day and it was the best decision we could have made.

They are such a fantastic experienced team, they really know how to plan and do weddings. They are not like other venues - the Cripps team go above and beyond and are part of the planning process with you from the beginning. We were helpfully walked through everything, had a fantastic planning meeting full of loads of tips that we used (which went down amazingly) and they were constantly on hand for any questions and were SO responsive on emails - nothing was too much trouble throughout our wedding planning.

On our big day we were allocated the fabulous Aimee as our on the day coordinator. It really is hard to put into words how grateful we are for Aimee's role on the big day and how in awe we were of her skills and professionalism, she really is an absolute star in every way. She made sure everything ran like clockwork, ensured we had moments together as a couple away from the happy madness of the day, she was constantly on hand for anything we needed whilst at the same time being so discreet and professional you would at times forget she was there making it all happen. She ensured the canapes and wedding breakfast service ran seamlessly, was so on the ball with any finishing touches and decor that needed to be out, she literally didn't miss a beat.
She goes so above and beyond and you can truly see she loves what she does which in turn makes the experience even more magical for couples - just one of hundreds of examples was literally sewing a hole in my dress discreetly behind a door for me and creating a new buttonhole for my husband who accidentally knocked his off his jacket during the speeches. She was so lovely with all my family, calming me & very nervous Dad before walking down the aisle whilst prepping the bridesmaids, and even helped with a cheeky surprise of photos that the best men presented at the end of their speech. Aimee would check in every now and again and had often already thought of something before we even knew we needed it!
I know we told you so many times on the day Aimee, but if we haven't said it enough, you have made our dream day come true and we are so grateful. It's the people like you that really make the magic of Cripps Barn. We'll never forget everything you did Aimee to make our day so magical! You worked SO hard and you did it all with the biggest smile. You were the glue that held our whole day together.

Huge thanks to the lovely Lee for everything in the evening who was our fab evening coordinator, you were fantastic and again you made everything run so seamlessly, making sure everyone including us had a fantastic night and nothing was too much trouble.

As for the food and drink... where do we start? We have quite honestly been inundated with messages telling us it's the best food & drink they've ever had at a wedding and we couldn't agree more. The feasting style menu created such a relaxed atmosphere, and the quality of the food was superb. People are still talking about that crumble and I'm sure they will be for months! The drinks reception was executed to perfection, the wine was fantastic and we chose to have a cocktail hour, which took place out on the terrace and all cocktails were delicious. The service was incredible and completely faultless. All of our family keep talking about how friendly and acccomodating all team members were.

If we could do it all again, it would be Cripps Barn every single time - and we would not change a thing about our day, we just wish we could do it all again in exactly the same way! It was PERFECT from start to finish & if anyone is thinking about Cripps Barn or Cripps & Co for their wedding day - do not hesitate!

I recently had my wedding at this beautiful venue and was thoroughly impressed. The setting is stunning and the food was exceptional - delicious, well-presented, and clearly prepared with care.

What stood out just as much was the staff. They were organised, in control, and incredibly helpful throughout. Their professionalism added to the overall smooth and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!

We got married at the end of March 2025 and first viewed Cripps Barn in Feb 2024. As soon as we saw the venue, we knew it was for us. Whilst the venue is amazing, the team are the real selling point! They are so calm, supportive and helpful, their help made us feel fully ready and excited to have our wedding!

Food was also a very high priority for us for our wedding and having been to a Cripps wedding before, but another venue, we knew we would be in safe hands. The food was remarkable, every request thrown at their catering team was handled perfectly and we essentially had one of the best meals we’ve ever had. And our guests did too.

The whole team at Cripps did an amazing job, but a few special thanks to Emily & Lee on the day, both excellent and warm. And to Aimee & James who weren’t with us on the day but helped during the planning process, thank you so much again.

James, who greeted us when we first arrived, gave us a thorough tour and helped us envision our day. Later down the process he walked us through all the details during our planning meeting. He made the entire process feel seamless and stress-free, ensuring that we were well-informed and confident every step of the way.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning. Cripps Barn is a beautiful, welcoming space that took my breath away from the moment I saw it. Its charm, elegance, and warmth set the perfect backdrop for our special day. It truly felt like a fairy tale come to life.

On the day of the wedding, Emily, our coordinator, was an absolute star. She handled everything with such care, professionalism, and attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in safe hands. Emily took care of every little thing, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the day without worrying about a single thing. Her calm demeanor and ability to anticipate our needs ensured that everything ran smoothly from start to finish.

A special shout-out to Lee, who created a bespoke cocktail for our guests and ran the evening’s proceedings flawlessly. He added such a personal touch, and the cocktail was a hit!

And we can’t recommend the Feast Night enough—what an experience! Trying all the food was absolutely incredible.

Cripps Barn and the team were absolutley amazing from the start. We were lucky enough to visit the venue in most seasons in the lead up to our autumn wedding and it never dissapointed. We had the perfect autumn wedding, with roaring fires and heated flooring keeping us all warm wherever we were! We had everything we needed and so much support from the team which made planning the day so easy, letting us focus on the personal touches and just being present on the day!

We actually do not think there are enough words to describe how utterly amazing Cripps Barn and staff were on our wedding day.

From our first visit to the venue, we fell in love with everything about Cripps Barn. The decor, the grounds and team. To be reassured that all my partner and I needed to do was “turn up, get married and have the best day” sold it to us. And that’s exactly what happened.

Little things like their own portal and messaging system was so easy to use. It had all our documents on, a breakdown of costs and they sent reminders when payments were due which really helped. If we had any questions (which we did… a lot) their response time was always quick and informative.

A week before the wedding, we were informed Aimee would be our coordinator on the day. I had a call set up with Aimee and she went through all the details so that I felt reassured everything was thought of and under control.

On the day, Aimee and the team literally went above and beyond for us and our guests. From helping set up the venue in the morning, to ensuring the ceremony went smoothly, and then throughout the day making sure my husband and I were ok, fed and watered. We have received so many compliments from our guests on how stunning the day was and how fantastic the staff were. Aimee and the team are top of their game and thought of just everything. I still get emotional when we look back on how perfect our day was and it was all thanks to our suppliers and the Cripps team x

I could not have hoped for a better venue. Ever since first visiting Cripps, I knew it was going to be the one and it did not disappoint. The space is stunning and the special features it has, such as the stone barn wheel, make it really dreamy. I had a picture in my mind of what my wedding day would look like and Cripps made it even better!
We had around 80 guests and felt like the space was the perfect size. After the meal we had a live band and a photo booth and everyone was dancing with enough space for people to sit down and rest if they wanted. The bar is fabulous and it had everything you need. The food was beyond delicious, every single guest complimented us on how good everything was and how beautiful it looked. We had canapés before the meal and the chicken menu with duck roast potatoes. The vegan/vegetarian options were also great. For the speeches, we served Limoncello spritz which was very appreciated by guests, as much as the wines we served.
But most of all, Cripps' team was brilliant throughout the whole process. Everyone we dealt with was lovely, professional and helpful. It's a well oiled machine that just works! We were so happy because they did everything for us and I was not stressed one bit as I knew I was in good hands.
Last but not least, the venue shines the most in photos. It really did make our wedding photos look stunning.

Cripps is really the most stunning venue to get married in, everything was laid out exactly as we wanted, and both the barn and the oak room looked absolutely great, even with minimal décor. In the evening, they also lit the fire pits which really added to the beautiful setting!

The food at Cripps is amazing, and our guests wouldn't stop raving about it! Each dish was delicious, and guests loved that the meal was served family style and they could help themselves - it was definitely a hit all round!

From the moment we booked, the staff at Cripps were so accommodating and friendly and really listen to what we wanted for our day. Aimee and Lee did an amazing job on the day, and were attentive and made us feel at ease and relaxed throughout, so we really got to just enjoy ourselves!

Cannot recommend Cripps highly enough! We got married here on the 2nd of July and we cannot fault anything. The venue is stunning, food is delicious and the staff are so friendly, professional, helpful, and really made sure our special day went smoothly and everything went to plan! Wish we could do it all over again.

Wow! Where do we begin, Cripps Barn was the most insane setting for our wedding day. From start to finish the Cripps team were incredible, every question was responded to so promptly and on the day Aimee was the best coordinator. We couldn’t fault anything!

The wedding breakfast and evening food was incredible, our guests said it was the best wedding food they’d ever tasted! We also would definitely recommend the feast nights to try all the different offerings they do. A great way to see the venue as well with suppliers!

We are so glad we chose Cripps as our venue, we want to do it all over again! We can’t thank the team enough.

Yes Cripps Barn is stunningly beautiful and a perfect venue - you will see this for yourself.

Yes the food will be the best wedding food your guests will ever have - you'll find this out yourself at one of their feast nights.

But the bit that won't be obvious until the day is how calm Cripps will make you feel. You might think that Cripps is a touch expensive and you might be tempted to try somewhere cheaper but similarly beautiful, or even to use a dry venue. However, I can't describe the value that the organisation and professionalism of Cripps had on our enjoyment of the day.

This leads on to Emily, our wedding coordinator. Nothing was too much effort, she was unflappable - despite the endless, very specific requests from us. In the build up we had our meeting and call to run through details and on the day I dropped off our various decorations and went through the specifics. Emily was all over it like it was the easiest thing in the world. When I turned up a few hours later for the ceremony everything was done to perfection. She kept us calm and relaxed and ensured we enjoyed every moment, taking us off for a quiet moment after our ceremony so we could breathe. We weren't worried about the cake table, or the band set up or whether the bridesmaids had the confetti - it just got done. Emily was present through the day but never in our space nor commanding much of our attention, she struck the balance perfectly.

It's clear that Emily loves her job, that showed through the whole day. But one moment where this was particularly evident, that we only saw after, was during my wife's speech. Esther had written a song to perform on the piano, and we filmed it. In the background of the video you can see Emily, hiding at the back with a huge smile beaming while watching. We even saw her wipe away a tear despite the countless wedding speeches she must have watched!

For us, the value in booking somewhere like Cripps is how they will make you feel. Our worries in the build up were minimal and on the day nonexistent thanks to Emily and the Cripps team.
