We had the most special day and honestly this venue is so perfect for a wedding! From the food, rooms, staff, the venue itself everything was perfect! Lucy and Meg were so helpful while organising our wedding and would always be there to help if needed! The day itself went so smoothly, Lucy was there to help with everything and made me feel so at ease before and on the day! Our guests thought everything was stunning, the DJ was brilliant, the rose room is beautiful and so spacious! We fell in love with this place as soon as we turned up to look around from the building itself to the incredible views surrounding it! I would 100% recommend this venue to any future couples! We cant wait to come back to celebrate our anniversary here! A massive thankyou again for making our day so unforgettable!

The food was amazing, and we had so many compliments from our guests about how lovely everything was. The rooms were also beautiful, with each one having its own character while still feeling really homely and comfortable.

The venue really was the perfect place for our wedding day, and we couldn’t imagine celebrating anywhere else. We will always have such amazing memories of the venue and the wonderful team who helped make our day everything we dreamed of.

We booked Tickton Grange 17months ahead of our wedding day - and from the very beginning the wedding planners Lucy and Meg were highly attentive and timely. They were nothing short of exceptional. Our wedding was day was outstanding, the location, the food, the accommodation was second to none. Our guests commented on the quality of the food and service, particularly the serving staff behind the bar and the servers at the reception. They interacted with our external vendors efficiently and kindly accommodating their specific time frames. The hotel staff / reception staff / housekeepers were just so kind, friendly and immaculately presented.
Tickton host many weddings but they made ours seem like ours was the most import and special. Every element was perfect.
We dealt with Megan most of the time, her communication style and face to face meetings were exemplary- even when we were very close to the date and a bit stressed - she responded so kindly and professionally.

Having previously visited Tickton a few times for the best afternoon tea, after we got engaged we attended an open day. Straight away we knew it was the venue for us. The team were so helpful and accommodating throughout the whole planning journey and really great with last minute changes. The team listened and understood our vision and made it happen! Thanks to Lucy, Meg and team the whole day ran perfectly, on time, and we didn’t need to think about anything as they had it all in hand. Our guests were so complimentary about how incredible the venue looked and everyone loved the food - people commented on how hot the food was, not easy when feeding over 70 people! We were spoilt for choice with the menus and the chef was really great with allergy requirements - one of our guests was vegan and sad it was the first 3 course meal she’d absolutely loved at a wedding. Tickton provides the most perfect backdrop for beautiful wedding photos and we couldn’t have been happier. The beautiful bridal suit and delicious breakfast the next day just finished our weekend perfectly!

From the moment we booked the communication with the wedding team was amazing. They kept us informed, offered us choices when we were booking and were flexible when we asked for some personal touches. On the day before and day of Lucy went above and beyond to make sure everything was right and ran smoothly. The team are fun, lovely to talk too and utterly professional. Worth every penny. The actual house and gardens are incredible and the photos look amazing

We were very happy with our wedding day, everything went smoothly, with no fuss. All the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

We got married here on the 21st March 2026 and it was a perfect day, everything was looked after for us in a professional manner and nothing was to much trouble for the staff.

We used an off season package when booking the wedding which we felt was super good value and included nearly everything you could need.

The venue is stunning as are the grounds (if you get lucky with the weather as we did). Tickton provided all of our food (canapes, wedding breakfast and evening food) and it was all perfect - the fish cakes in the wedding breakfast were a particular hit with our group. The venue was very flexible for every need we had/discussed and catered for everything where safe/possible - for example we wanted sparklers on the evening instead of confetti and this wasn't too much trouble.

Meg was available on the day for every need we had and really looked after us - can't thank the Tickton staff and particularly Meg enough for making our day so special.

We recently had our wedding at Tickton Grange and all I can report is an amazing day filled with memories to treasure. The team ensured everything was perfect and their attention to detail was second to none. Myself and my husband did not have to worry about one thing as the team had already taken care of it. I would 100% recommend this venue for its beautiful views and setting but also the wedding team who are phenomenal! We cannot thank them enough for everything they did for us on our special day! X

We have absolutely no regrets about booking our wedding with Tickton Grange, and would never have chosen to have our day hosted anywhere else. I am so so pleased we made this decision.

From start to finish, the lovely team at Tickton could not do enough for us and were constantly bending over backwards to help however they could. There were plenty of wedding stresses we encountered over our 2 year planning period, Tickton were not responsible for a single one. Nothing was ever a problem and through every request they were more than happy to help if it meant giving us our dream day. And they absolutely did.

The staff were always so supportive through every ounce of anxiety, and really put us at ease every step of the way. There was never a moment we felt our special day wasn't in good hands.

My husband and I both got ready for our ceremony at Tickton and have such happy memories of that morning. We then held our Reception at Tickton after a church ceremony. The venue itself is stunning, which provided us with some truly beautiful photographs that we will treasure forever. The staff also created such a warm, relaxed atmosphere and confidently took care of every single aspect. They were efficient and the service was immaculate, never once seeming rushed or frantic. They clearly knew what they were doing, and seemed to genuinely care about giving us the best.

Not only did they listen to our every request, they also instinctively took charge to ensure my husband and I were being looked after in ways we hadn't considered, such as saving us food at points when we were too busy to eat, or ensuring we had plenty of wedding cake for ourselves to travel home with to enjoy.

Every single staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming and seemed genuinely excited to be sharing in our special day, which made having them a part of it feel so personal and special.

The food was incredible and our guests thoroughly enjoyed it, and our bridal suite was just gorgeous. We could not have felt more spoilt.

I left Tickton Grange after our wedding in floods of tears and was devastated to leave after such an incredible journey. We are so excited to visit again and relive our day in a place that has come to feel like a second home, and we look forward to seeing all of the staff again in the future.

Our advice to any and all couples due to get married would be to book with Tickton Grange. You will not be disappointed.

After exploring several venues, we booked Tickton Grange Hotel for our August 2025 wedding. While we initially experienced a few hiccups— due to a change in staffing and management—these were addressed, and from that point on, we felt confident we had made the right decision.

The staff were always friendly and professional, but we did find the planning process a little challenging at times. There were multiple forms requesting the same information, and the formatting made them difficult to edit, even for those comfortable with technology. We were advised we’d have a taster session before selecting our menu, but despite several reminders, this never materialised—so we had to choose our food without trying it first. These issues added some unnecessary worry to the process.

That said, the team were accommodating in many other ways. They responded quickly to emails and calls, and allowed us to visit the venue multiple times, which really helped us visualise and plan our day.
Our wedding day itself was absolutely perfect. The venue was everything we had dreamed of and more. The timeless elegance of the Georgian house was the perfect backdrop, and the Rose Room worked beautifully for our ceremony, wedding breakfast, and evening reception. The transitions between each part of the day were seamless, and staff invited us to view the room before guests entered, which was a lovely touch. Although we hired a stylist and florist for the ceremony setup, it was the Tickton Grange staff who handled the room changes throughout the day—and they did so flawlessly.

With 60 guests during the day, the space felt just right with the tables set out exactly as we had requested. Even when our numbers doubled for the evening reception, it never felt cramped. The food was outstanding—from the generous and delicious canapés and drinks during the reception, to the beautifully presented and filling wedding breakfast. The lemon posset dessert was a particular favourite! Dietary needs were handled with ease, and the evening food was a hit with everyone. All food was of good quality and staff were accommodating to guest’s requests throughout the meal.

The honeymoon suite was spotless and serene—just what we needed after such a joyful and emotional day. Our guests who stayed at the hotel also commented on how lovely their rooms were. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and delicious, rounding off the experience perfectly.

Despite a few minor issues in the planning process, our wedding day at Tickton Grange was truly magical. We absolutely recommend this venue to any couple looking for a wedding full of elegance and charm.
