We got married here in December and it was absolutely perfect. We had wedding coordinator Lucy overseeing our day and she was amazing. Every detail was perfect and the day ran so smoothly. All the staff at Tickton Grange are so professional and approachable. Would recommend as a wedding venue to anyone. 10/10. Best day ever.

We recently had our wedding at Tickton Grange and all I can report is an amazing day filled with memories to treasure. The team ensured everything was perfect and their attention to detail was second to none. Myself and my husband did not have to worry about one thing as the team had already taken care of it. I would 100% recommend this venue for its beautiful views and setting but also the wedding team who are phenomenal! We cannot thank them enough for everything they did for us on our special day! X

From start to finish, the lovely team at Tickton could not do enough for us and were constantly bending over backwards to help however they could. There were plenty of wedding stresses we encountered over our 2 year planning period, Tickton were not responsible for a single one. Nothing was ever a problem and through every request they were more than happy to help if it meant giving us our dream day. And they absolutely did.

The staff were always so supportive through every ounce of anxiety, and really put us at ease every step of the way. There was never a moment we felt our special day wasn't in good hands.

My husband and I both got ready for our ceremony at Tickton and have such happy memories of that morning. We then held our Reception at Tickton after a church ceremony. The venue itself is stunning, which provided us with some truly beautiful photographs that we will treasure forever. The staff also created such a warm, relaxed atmosphere and confidently took care of every single aspect. They were efficient and the service was immaculate, never once seeming rushed or frantic. They clearly knew what they were doing, and seemed to genuinely care about giving us the best.

Not only did they listen to our every request, they also instinctively took charge to ensure my husband and I were being looked after in ways we hadn't considered, such as saving us food at points when we were too busy to eat, or ensuring we had plenty of wedding cake for ourselves to travel home with to enjoy.

Every single staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming and seemed genuinely excited to be sharing in our special day, which made having them a part of it feel so personal and special.

The food was incredible and our guests thoroughly enjoyed it, and our bridal suite was just gorgeous. We could not have felt more spoilt.

I left Tickton Grange after our wedding in floods of tears and was devastated to leave after such an incredible journey. We are so excited to visit again and relive our day in a place that has come to feel like a second home, and we look forward to seeing all of the staff again in the future.

We would like to say a huge thank you in particular to Lucy, Dan, Meg and Maddie for everything they did for us. I can't tell you how grateful we are to have had them play such an important role in our wedding.

Our advice to any and all couples due to get married would be to book with Tickton Grange. You will not be disappointed.

After exploring several venues, we booked Tickton Grange Hotel for our August 2025 wedding. While we initially experienced a few hiccups— due to a change in staffing and management—these were addressed, and from that point on, we felt confident we had made the right decision.

The staff were always friendly and professional, but we did find the planning process a little challenging at times. There were multiple forms requesting the same information, and the formatting made them difficult to edit, even for those comfortable with technology. We were advised we’d have a taster session before selecting our menu, but despite several reminders, this never materialised—so we had to choose our food without trying it first. These issues added some unnecessary worry to the process.

That said, the team were accommodating in many other ways. They responded quickly to emails and calls, and allowed us to visit the venue multiple times, which really helped us visualise and plan our day.
Our wedding day itself was absolutely perfect. The venue was everything we had dreamed of and more. The timeless elegance of the Georgian house was the perfect backdrop, and the Rose Room worked beautifully for our ceremony, wedding breakfast, and evening reception. The transitions between each part of the day were seamless, and staff invited us to view the room before guests entered, which was a lovely touch. Although we hired a stylist and florist for the ceremony setup, it was the Tickton Grange staff who handled the room changes throughout the day—and they did so flawlessly.

With 60 guests during the day, the space felt just right with the tables set out exactly as we had requested. Even when our numbers doubled for the evening reception, it never felt cramped. The food was outstanding—from the generous and delicious canapés and drinks during the reception, to the beautifully presented and filling wedding breakfast. The lemon posset dessert was a particular favourite! Dietary needs were handled with ease, and the evening food was a hit with everyone. All food was of good quality and staff were accommodating to guest’s requests throughout the meal.

The honeymoon suite was spotless and serene—just what we needed after such a joyful and emotional day. Our guests who stayed at the hotel also commented on how lovely their rooms were. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and delicious, rounding off the experience perfectly.

Despite a few minor issues in the planning process, our wedding day at Tickton Grange was truly magical. We absolutely recommend this venue to any couple looking for a wedding full of elegance and charm.

Everything ran perfectly on the day, Lucy was amazing and nothing was too much trouble.
We had a winter wedding package, which is excellent value for money.
We had so many comments about how good the food was, it was hot, amazing quality and large portion sizes.
For anyone who stayed at the venue, breakfast the next morning was really good.

Every single person that we met at Tickton went above and beyond to ensure everything would be perfect for our wedding and provided outstanding service. Nothing was ever too much trouble , especially on our wedding day. Everything ran completely perfectly and everybody did their best to make sure we had the best day possible. The wedding and events manager especially could not have given more of her time and energy into creating the perfect wedding for us. Our wedding space was beautifully set up and turnover between events was so smooth. We had plenty of space for all of our guests and every single person that attended explained how amazing it was. The food was also incredible and had nothing but people complimenting the menu. The bridal suite and all the rooms our guests stayed in were outstanding, and was made even more special by a private breakfast room the next morning for us all to enjoy. I am beyond grateful we got to have our wedding at Tickton Grange, I cannot recommend this venue enough.

We had the most perfect wedding day at Tickton Grange. We had an intimate ceremony in the garden room with just 14 guests. Our every need was taken care of and the staff could not have been more helpful, professional and kind. Tickton Grange is just such a classy venue with lovely areas for photos both inside the house and within the grounds. The food was excellent and all our guests thought the same. Lucy our wedding planner /toastlady and tickton grange really pulled all the stops out for our special day!
We opted for a new package they are doing called a TWIGHLIGHT WEDDING in the ROSE ROOM .
This is a flowing style of wedding with no long gaps between ceremony and evening,this suited our needs and worked perfectly for us and our guests.
We had grazing platters as opposed to plated food,with these you have a good choice,something for everyone and vegans and vegetarians can have their own!
The evening food, again there are choices,from simple buffet to a bbq in the courtyard, we opted for pizza and fries..and a hot buffet.The portions were excellent and even the big eaters were full.
The chefs really excelled in these areas,food was excellent quality and very very tasty and well presented .
The evening started at 8pm,and incl in the price is a dj,who is really good.
We opted to have a solo singer as well to break things up a bit which worked really well.
We had the bridal suite incl in the price,guests can pay to stay in any of the 15 rooms available,lovely clean presented rooms with tea and coffee facilities,shower etc.
The breakfast next morning is in the private dining room,again a very nice choice and excellent tasty local produce is used.
Parking is available and guests not staying were allowed to leave vehicles until next morning at their own risk ! Obviously!
The grounds around the tickton grange are lovely to stroll around,and during dry days/nights there are nice areas to sit outside.
The reason we chose tickton as our venue is firstly the character of the place,it's just so lovely,the price was reasonable and the excellent services provided from the cleaners to the bar staff from the chefs to the waitresses all the people you deal with when contacting tickton..LUCY DAN CALLUM MADDIE MAGGIE and im sure there's someone ive prob missed! We had our wedding at Tickton Grange on the 26th August 2025, and from start to finish it was everything we dreamed of and more.

Lucy, our wedding coordinator, deserves the biggest thank you. Having worked in the hotel industry myself, I can say with confidence that she is the most approachable and understanding coordinator I’ve ever come across. She completely understood us, got our “Yorkshire” personalities straight away, and made us feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. Tickton Grange are so lucky to have her – and so were we.

The entire team were an absolute joy to be around. Everyone was so warm, professional, and genuinely cared about making our day special. A special shoutout to Eileen at breakfast – she made us feel like we were sat at home, so relaxed and looked after. It’s the little touches like that which made such a difference.

We had a small, intimate wedding of just 28 guests, and the spaces at Tickton were perfect for us. It felt relaxed yet full of love, and the team really did “understand the assignment” – everything ran seamlessly but with such a personal touch.

We honestly couldn’t recommend Tickton Grange enough. Choosing you was the best decision we made, and we’ll cherish the memories forever.

We held our ceremony in April in the Farmstead/Chauffeurs Garage. From the very first visit we knew this venue was the one for us. Right from the start the team were so supportive, easy to chat to and really eager to listen to our ideas and help us sculpt the day into the day of our dreams.

Our wedding was part of Tickton’s small wedding package. The planning process went really smoothly, though we did speak to quite a few people between the start of the process and the end. Alongside providing helpful checklists which were great for helping to guide the planning process, the team were always on hand for a chat and we always felt welcome to come to the venue for a wander around.

We cannot understate how fantastic Lucy and her team was - right up to the wedding day we knew we were in safe hands. Also, everyone in the venue -from the waitresses and waiters at dinner down to the amazing housekeeping team - were all so lovely and made our whole party feel very welcome.
