Country Wedding Venues in North Yorkshire

We got married here at the start of August. The day was beautiful. We got married in the woodlands, which was magical. The tipi was fab too. Charlie and her team were very professional, good communicators and very approachable. I would 100% recommend this venue. We hired bell tents for our friends to stay on site too.

Crab Manor Hotel was the perfect venue for our wedding, providing everything one could need. Luxurious accommodation on site for the guests, a quirky sense of style, scenic grounds and unbeatable food, all headed up by our conscientious wedding planner Abigail. Abigail ensured that all of the minutiae of our day was considered and that everything ran smoothly. She ensured that me and my new wife weren't overwhelmed, that we had time to soak the day and that we never had to worry about anything. She worked tirelessly on the day and was so helpful in helping us consider elements we may have forgotten. The venue was perfect for us - the staff attentive, responsive and friendly. Able to accommodate 40+ guests with personalized rooms, hot tubs and comfy beds, it made the day before and after the wedding perfect. The food served was of exceptional quality and commented on by almost everyone we invited. I think it's rare to find a venue that can do it all, but I really can't recommend this one enough. Full of quirky character and able to both accommodate traditional or relaxed weddings, it really can do it all. Thank you to the team and I cannot recommend the venue enough, a special place.

From the moment we visited the Parkmore for one of their showcases we knew this was the venue for our big day, the team were all warm and made us feel special. James who looked after us took all of our requirements and gave us the day we wanted. Marilyn from special events was great. We got everything sorted within a few meetings. The stress was taken away. The day ran smoothly with every detail being taken care of. We were allowed to enjoy it with our guests. We will definitely become regulars at the hotel. Couldn’t recommend enough.

The Normans was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. From the moment we first visited, we were given a great welcome and could tell how professional and well-organised the team were. Their communication throughout the planning process was exceptional - every question was answered quickly and clearly, giving us complete confidence in the run-up to the day. The venue itself is stunning and created such an incredible atmosphere; we’ve had so many comments from guests saying how amazing it was. The food, provided by Hog & Apple, was tremendous - multiple guests told us it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. On the day, everything ran seamlessly thanks to Oliver, who managed the guests and all the vendors perfectly, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy ourselves. Overall, a highly (highly!) recommended venue for anyone considering The Normans - they exceeded every expectation and made the day truly special.

The Gameskeeper’s inn is the most incredible venue to have your wedding. The venue itself is just an incredible place surrounded by the gorgeous Yorkshire dales. The staff were absolutely fantastic and couldn’t be more helpful big shout out to Angela , Chris and Harriet for all your amazing hard work and helping us to create the wedding of our dreams. The food was just incredible as well. Once again would very highly this venue for anyone wanting to get married in Yorkshire, it is an absolute gem.

From the very first call with Anna, all the way from Costa Rica, I just knew Thicket Priory was the one. Even before I saw it in person, which wasn’t until two months before the wedding, Anna made me feel so welcome and gave me everything I needed to feel confident and excited. She felt less like a coordinator and more like a friend, guiding me through every step, answering all my questions, and making sure I felt completely taken care of. During our stay, she went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and it honestly could not have gone better. The venue itself is magical. The lake, the grounds, the bedrooms, the décor, everything was beyond stunning. There were so many details that meant our guests were never trying to find something to do, secret doors, hidden corners, and little magical touches everywhere. Having 35 bedrooms on site was brilliant, meaning our family and wedding party could stay together without worrying about transport. We also loved being able to use different ceremony spaces, each gorgeous in its own way. In terms of value for money, the venue was worth every penny. Anna and the team were extremely professional, approachable, and friendly throughout. I could go on for days, but I am honestly lost for words at how incredible this venue is and how it made our wedding magical. I truly believe this is the best wedding venue out there!

Me and my husband are so glad we chose Westfield as our wedding venue , cannot thank molly Joan and Roz enough for all the help , they made it so easy from start to finish and it was so lovely having the accommodations so close it made it a lovely family weekend and all the family are so greatful that we all could come together for this special time ♥️ was lovely to be able to design our very own wedding and it was exactly how we wanted it , we didn’t want it to end and can’t wait to come back in the future

We are so incredibly grateful to Georgia and the whole team and the Castle Inn for looking after us and ensuring we had the most perfect wedding day! Right from the early stages of planning right the way through to the day itself Georgia made what could have been very stressful, such a manageable and enjoyable experience! She really listened to what we wanted whilst providing advice and guidance where we needed it. She knew what questions to ask to make sure we built a vision for the day we wanted instead of building an "off the shelf" wedding package. Egton were fantastic from start to finish. They were very relaxed about the entire process - which is what myself and my husband wanted. They also coordinated the entire day as well which they did a fabulous job. Venue is in a beautiful location in North Yorkshire and has the added benefit of additional accommodation which is handy for guests. We are so grateful for all their hard work in making our day!

Attended friends'' wedding. The whole day moved through smoothly and efficiently with friendly, helpful staff. A wonderful sense of romance about the place and great photos to show off.
