The best venue 🤍
From helping us source suppliers before the wedding to guiding us every step of the way, the team made everything feel so easy and stress-free. We always felt completely looked after, and that level of care meant the world to us.
But what truly makes Whitworth Hall so special is the people. The staff are simply indescribable, kind, warm, attentive, and so genuinely invested in making your day everything you’ve dreamed of and more. It wasn’t just the big things they did .. it was the small details that meant the most. From setting up our honeymoon suite so beautifully, to helping carry my dress, to ensuring my husband and I had precious moments together, to making sure the entire day ran so seamlessly - they were there for us every step of the way.
Rachelle, Matthew, and Sarah - our INCREDIBLE managers! They all became so much more than part of the venue team. They truly became part of our wedding family🥹 Their support and care meant so much to us, they went above and beyond in EVERY way. So much so that we even did a first look with them, and that moment is something we will treasure forever.
And then there is Ben, our Master of Ceremonies… seriously, he deserves an award! His energy, organisation, and presence were outstanding. He kept everything running perfectly while bringing so much fun and personality to the day. We genuinely have no words for how incredible he is.
And we can’t forget the amazing bar staff.. Aaron, Chloe, and so many more. They were fantastic, creating custom-made drinks that our guests absolutely loved and adding such a fun, personal touch to the celebration.
What stands out the most is how much they genuinely cared. They didn’t just work our wedding, they became part of it. The extra thought and detail they put into everything honestly makes me tear up every time I think about it. Every single one of our guests commented on the venue and the team, and that alone speaks volumes✨
Whitworth Hall will always hold such a special place in our hearts. To any couple considering this venue, you are not just booking a beautiful place, you are choosing a team who will care about your day as much as you do. Other couples truly need to experience what we experienced.

The most perfect, dream wedding
The venue itself is absolutely stunning and finished to the highest standard. I had always dreamed of getting married at Whitworth Hall before The Apartment Group took it over, and they have somehow made it even more beautiful than I could ever have imagined. The deer were such a special touch and made the setting feel even more magical.
What truly made the day unforgettable, though, was the staff. Every single member of the team was friendly, accommodating and worked incredibly hard to ensure everything ran smoothly while making us feel so welcome. One of the biggest highlights for us was hearing so many of our friends and family say how much they loved the team — their warmth and professionalism did not go unnoticed.
A huge thank you to our wedding coordinator, Paige, for all of her help and support in the lead up to the wedding. She made the whole planning process feel smooth and stress-free.
Matthew was brilliant to chat to and always ready to help with anything we needed — he made us feel genuinely special. Our Master of Ceremonies, Aaron, was a real highlight of the day. He helped settle our nerves and was such a lovely presence to talk to throughout.
A special thank you to the bar staff, Tommy and Logan, who made a point of telling us how excited they were about our music choices for the evening! Our family loved their enthusiasm, and they created such a fun, brilliant atmosphere at the bar.
The team did a beautiful job setting up our DIY decorations — honestly even better than I could have imagined. And a huge thank you to Sarah, who saved the day by finding sponges for my shoes when I realised I’d brought the wrong size!
It was a magical day that we will never forget, and we are so incredibly grateful to the entire team for making it everything we dreamed of and more.
Whitworth Hall wedding October 25
One of the earliest weddings at Whitworth hall, marrying in Ocotober and had the most perfect day from start to finish. The venue was just amazing, Ben was absolutely fantastic who did our master of ceremonies.
We could not fault any of the staff they all went above and beyond to make us feel special. Emily our coordinator was brillant. Big shout out to Donna Cope who was amazing from start to finish.
2025 Wedding
From the very beginning, the support we received was exceptional. Paige was our wedding coordinator and was absolutely brilliant, calm, organised and always there when we needed her. And Rachel was with us from the very first day we said “yes” to the venue right through to our actual wedding day, which meant so much to us. They, along with the wider team, were such a huge help during every open day, visit and taster session. The whole planning journey genuinely felt like an experience in itself.
We would also love to thank Ben and Jamie. Jamie was such a huge reassurance throughout the planning process, always keeping us updated with the building plans and making sure we felt completely at ease. Ben was fantastic on the day itself, making sure everything ran smoothly, looking after our guests and bringing real warmth and personality to the whole celebration.
The venue also had enough rooms to accommodate our friends and family who had flown in from abroad, which made everything so convenient and meant we could all relax and enjoy the celebrations together. From changing our guest numbers more than once to adjusting the food menu and serving plans, nothing was ever too much trouble. Even our two cats, who were part of our big day, were so well cared for, and that truly meant the world to us.
Whitworth Hall is not just a beautiful venue. It is a place filled with people who genuinely care. We left not only with the happiest memories, but with so much gratitude for a team who treated our wedding as if it were their own.
Wonderful Whitworth Estate
Exlcusive use of the venue made the day even more special. The whole team created a relaxed environment and the photos captured on the day are a reflection of the beauty of the estate.
All the staff working on the day were amazing from beginning to end! In particular we would like to pass our personal thanks onto Ben and Jamie. They both went above and beyond to help make our day perfect from start to finish. Nothing was too much for them and we can't express how grateful we are for all that they did for us both throughout the day and behind the scenes.
Ben was fantastic with everyone and ensured that the day ran exactly to plan, creating a great atmosphere, making sure our guests had everything they needed, and bringing the character of the venue to life.
Jamie kept in contact with us both constantly and anything that we needed was arranged immediately. He worked tirelessly to ensure that we were both able to relax and enjoy our celebrations, for which we are so grateful.

Wedding 2025. September 25/9/25
A wedding itself can not be successful without a great team at the venue, everyone at the Apartment group from the very start to the actual wedding went over and above for us to make sure it went perfect. Special shout outs to Emily our wedding co ordinator, Ben our MOC and Rachel venue manager for making our experience extra special.
Emily not only helped plan the day but made sure she was in attendance on a day she wasn’t actually supposed to be working, there was nothing she wasn’t prepared to do to make the day run smoothly, this includes piggy backing our daughter (bridesmaid) over the fields to feed the deers for photos , changing Nicola’s shoes for the feeding of the deers, bringing our daughter her favourite sweets which she had remembered from one of our earlier wedding meetings, she is a total credit to the company, I would say half the things she does isn’t in her job description, but she does it because she cares for her couples.
Now Ben, what can we say about Ben, he is just a genuinely lovely guy who absolutely loves his job and the deers. We got some great photos because of how he is with them. He got so many compliments from the guests about how he helped the day run so smoothly, nothing was a bother for him and it was such a pleasure to have him as our MOC, the man is legend.
Racheal was just a complete pleasure to have around when we were going for venue viewings, she reassured us at all times that the place would be ready even ringing Nic after the first wedding to say it had all gone to plan, she was amazing with our daughter and always so happy and bubbly, we were so happy she was there on our day aswell.
Overall if you are planning a wedding in the near future we would highly recommend the Apartment group and Whitworth Hall, you will not be disappointed
