Hutton Wandesley Stables, Botanicum and Walled Garden is an incredibly location in the Vale of York, just 7 miles from York, nestled in the heart of a private 3000-acre Estate. A stunning 2 1/2 acre landscaped Walled Garden beautifully designed and planted with gardens within gardens; "Botanicum" an Event Barn like no other, large bifolding doors leading out onto a terrace into the Walled Garden. Crittal style windows and doors opening out onto a private courtyard which leads across to the Victorian Stable Block, newly converted into luxury accommodation with nine en-suite bedrooms and large open plan living. Adjacent to the Stables is a beautiful cottage for your wedding night and a place for all your special wedding party to get ready for the big day.

We offer exclusive 3-day wedding packages with access from midday on Friday to 10 am Monday. There is stunning accommodation onsite for 22 guests, 9 en-suite bedrooms in The Stables and 2 en-suite bedrooms in Laundry Cottage (the wedding cottage).

There is further accommodation on Hutton Wandesley Estate at Marston Lodge Farm, 3 stunning properties sleeping a further 28 guests. 50 guests in total can be accommodated for your wedding.

Botanicum, a beautiful converted barn, has seating for up to 120 guests and a further 40 guests for your evening event. We have an in-house bar team that runs our bar, offering bespoke packages to all guests.

Botanicum opens out onto a private, exclusive, 2 1/2 acre Walled Garden. All areas at the venue are licensed for ceremonies. There are many areas within the Walled Garden for your ceremony, including a stunning Greenhouse for any smaller weddings. There is also an outdoor barn seating 100 guests. A lawned area offers an open space for ceremonies, but also for Marquees and Stretch Tents.
