Hazlewood Castle is a stunning location, and we are delighted to have had our wedding there this November. The grounds and building are elegant and regal, and the rooms are comfortable and spacious, decorated to keep that regal elegance going throughout the castle. For a mid-week winter wedding, we felt we had excellent value in our package, and couldn't recommend HazlewOod more for such an event. The Castle is very old and well used, but also clearly well loved, clean and taken care of. We found our stay very peaceful and the setting is well away from the noise of any towns. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, especially our wedding coordinator Melissa (and our on-the-day event managers). If you are considering a wedding at any of time of year, Hazlewood has the right setting for you but we are of course particularly fond of the grand yet cosy feel of our winter wedding in the main castle.

Everyone was exceptionally profession in Hazlewood Castle. They are very experienced, so every time when I’m uncertain about things they quickly gave me a brilliant solution. They always there for help, no matter when planning or on the day. We are very appreciate of everything they did for us.

Everything we asked for was not too much trouble for them. The venue (woodland) was ideal for us and all our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the wedding and venue/

We had our wedding in the woodlands and Hazlewood and had an incredible time. The team were really responsive while we were wedding planning and answered my millions of questions in the lead up to the day. They were really flexible and helped to make sure everything was how we wanted it on the day. The woodlands venue is absolutely beautiful and we wouldn't change a thing about our wedding.

Hazlewood castle what a beautiful place to get married. From the event planners to the staff on the day, everything went so smoothly and the staff were just great. Food was fantastic and the service superb. Not one thing went wrong all day, very well planned and delivered by the venue.

From beginning to end we had the most amazing experience with Hazlewood Castle as our venue.
Kelly was our Co-ordinator and there really wasn't anything she couldn't do for us. She was so friendly, approachable and made us feel like we could chat to her at any time.

The venue was always a stand out location for us and we fell in love with it at first sight, any possible doubts we could have had were gone when we met the amazing staff. Every single staff member was so helpful and professional, we ended up booking a few nights in the hotel and treatments at the spa as we were always looking for a reason to come back!

On the day of the wedding Lis and Max were just outstanding, their commitment to making sure everything ran smoothly was noticed not just by us but by all our guests. There was never a moment where I had any concerns (this coming from someone who is not very good at handing over control!) as they were always there reassuring us and double checking every detail.

Every one of our guests was blown away by the food and the service, with many saying it was the best they had ever had at a wedding. While we had excess of 80 guests, everyone felt treated like an individual and as if their meal had been prepared for them especially. The bar staff worked tirelessly throughout the day and were always making sure everyone was catered for while maintaining effortless professionalism and a friendly smile throughout.

We were so pleased to see all our guests were as wowed by the venue as we were when we first saw it. As fans of the historical, it was a dream to get married in a castle. Our guests were all keen to explore and all who booked a room were very impressed.

Whilst I know that this venue runs many beautiful weddings through the year, we never once felt like just a number, or just another event to churn out. We were made to feel special and as if we were the only wedding in the world. I put this down entirely to the staff. The team at Hazlewood are held in our highest regards and have our endless gratitude for all the service the delivered on our every visit on the lead up to the wedding, and for giving us the most magical day of our lives. We truly cannot thank them all enough!

Stunning location. Such an impressive building. Our wedding was in December and it was raining for most of the afternoon and evening but that didn't matter as there was plenty of rooms for all the guests with use. The rooms we such a great backdrop to our wedding and really add to it without having to provide lots of decoration ourselves.
The food was really excellent and they catered for gluten free, vegan and Low FODMAP with ease.
Large bridal suite made getting ready so relaxed and enjoyable.
Beautiful rooms so our guests could stay, we booked all the rooms in the hotel and worked out how we could get the most people there to stay. The hotel provided all the sofa and pull out beds we needed.
Well organised by the staff, We didn't have to worry or even think about what was going to happen next or what needed doing. Very professional staff.
all of our guest have told us it was the best wedding they have been to, and we wouldn't have changed a single thing.
Overall it was just a perfect day and enjoyed by all.

I can’t put into words how wonderful our wedding at Hazlewood was. Nothing is too much trouble for the team, they are there to help you every step of the way and on the day they made sure every thing ran perfectly.
