We had a late October twilight wedding, Gemma and the team were on hand every step of the way. She was on hand to answer any questions nothing was too much trouble. The children at the wedding were catered for and had their own bespoke canapés. The venue is lovely and homely which suited out autumn vibe. On the day of the wedding Gemma was on hand to help woth last minute details and sorting the room out, making sure guests were seated. She even brought me a glass of water before walking down the aisle. We would highly recommend Slaters, Gemma and the team.

We recently had our wedding at The Boat House, and I cannot express how thrilled we were with the entire experience. From the very beginning, staff were friendly, welcoming and informative. The communication was nothing short of excellent throughout the entire process. No question was ever too small, nor were there ever too many questions – they were all answered very thoroughly and promptly. Not only that, every email was met with professionalism and kindness. It truly felt like we were in good hands and it was so easy to build a rapport with the girls who work for The Boat House. The venue itself is beautiful and well maintained. It’s very modern with lots of light, which is great because it didn’t feel like it needed a lot of dressing up. Lots of places for photos and for guests to enjoy the day. The dressing room has also recently been renovated which made the getting ready process so luxurious. The food on the wedding day was even better than the day we did our menu tasting. We were impressed with the extensive selection of dishes available and the fact The Boat House catered to our preferences and guests dietary requirements so well. Each dish was presented so well and all the portions were generous. Whilst all of the staff we dealt with at The Boat House were great, we would also like to give a special mention to Abby who was absolutely incredible with us. From helping us set up the day beforehand, to helping look after my young niece before going down the aisle – Abby’s efforts always went beyond expectation. Nothing was too much trouble and she ensured that everything on the day ran like clockwork – I literally didn’t have to worry about a single thing, which made the entire process and day so stress free. Abby is an absolute credit to The Boat House and we can’t thank her enough. In summary, The Boat House provided an unforgettable experience for our special day. We genuinely couldn’t fault any part of the process and are incredibly grateful to every member of the team for making our day even better than we could have imagined.

We feel so privileged and grateful to have celebrated our wedding at The Upper House. From the moment we first saw the venue, we completely fell in love with its charm and beauty. The resident cat was a delightful addition! Throughout the entire planning process, nothing was ever too much trouble. The team were always kind, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day special. The wedding day itself was flawless. Everything ran so smoothly thanks to the exceptional management by Keeley. She was absolutely amazing, attentive, organised, and thoughtful in every way. She went above and beyond, taking care of even the smallest details we hadn’t thought of. Thanks to her, the whole day was seamless, relaxed, and completely stress-free. The food was simply outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and received glowing compliments from all of our guests. The venue itself is stunning, from the picturesque grounds to the elegant interiors, and especially the beautiful bridal suite. We honestly can’t fault The Upper House in any way. Thank you to the entire team for making our wedding day so special and truly unforgettable. We couldn’t have wished for anything more.

I recently had my wedding reception at The Orangery and it was absolutely perfect. The venue has beautiful gardens, building and amazing staff! The staff were perfect from start to finish and everyone praised how lovely and welcoming they were. They have recently added a new bar area which is super cosy and stylish and offers fantastic drink selection! I honestly could not fault our experience with The Orangery and the staff. I would recommend here to anyone for a special occasion.

We had the most amazing wedding day we could ever have hoped for thanks to Dave and his staff! We couldn't have done it without you. Thank you so so much. The venue was beautiful the food was fabulous the DJ was brilliant! The photogapher was fantastic and the bar was really well priced. We would highly recommend you to book a wedding here.
