Albright Hussey Manor is a privately owned and managed, exclusive wedding venue with over thirty-five years of experience. Conveniently located just outside Shrewsbury, it offers both charm and easy accessibility.
This stunning 16th-century manor house is set within beautifully maintained grounds, featuring picturesque gardens, a romantic moat and bridge, and enchanting walled gardens. The venue offers the option of outdoor civil ceremonies, alongside a stylish outdoor bar and an al fresco kitchen with BBQ and wood-fired pizza oven—perfect for relaxed evening catering in the chill-out gardens. We cater for formal two or three course meals for the day party or more informal catering if required.
A beautifully appointed marquee-lined function suite provides an elegant setting for celebrations of up to 200 guests, making Albright Hussey Manor the ideal choice for both intimate and larger weddings.

Albright Hussey Manor is the perfect exclusive wedding venue, located just outside Shrewsbury and surrounded by the beautiful Shropshire countryside.
The Manor offers couples stunning gardens with breathtaking views, providing a truly romantic setting. In the warmer months, ceremonies can take place on the front lawn, or alternatively within the Manor House or the elegant Imperial Suite.
The grounds also feature an elevated terrace with an outdoor bar—ideal for drinks receptions and relaxed moments with guests. Wedding receptions can be hosted in the Manor House for up to 48 guests, or in the Imperial Suite for larger celebrations of up to 200 guests.
We also offer 26 en-suite bedrooms, including three honeymoon suites, with four poster beds and even a four poster spa Bath, providing comfortable accommodation for family and guests.
Our dedicated, full-time team is on hand to plan and deliver your special day, supported by our talented chefs who will create a menu tailored to your tastes.

Thank you so much to Paul and Emma and helping us plan and hosting our dream wedding. The venue is so beautiful, quiet and just what we wanted. After a week of rain before the wedding, we had glorious weather, but we still opted to get married inside. The room was beautifully decorated. Emma and Paul saw our vision and helped us create it, and we couldn’t fault it, and well within our budget!
The food was exceptional! Most of us stayed the night before, so we r started with breakfast - which was bought up to the room for myself and bridesmaids. We ordered sandwiches for guests before the ceremony, a 3 course dinner after the ceremony and a BBQ for our evening reception, followed by breakfast again the following morning.
The staff were also exceptional, they looked after us from start to finish. Emma and Paul answered all our questions quickly and put our minds at ease. The entire wedding journey, from the moment we were shown around, to booking the date, to the actual day and day after and all in between, was done with ease, professionalism and kindness. Emma listened to what we wanted and came back quickly with quotes and pictures, once we decided what we wanted, she went ahead and booked everything.
The day went smoothly and was effortless, it was a beautiful day! Nothing went wrong (apart from me leaving the flower girl dresses at home and a mad morning dash for the groom back home to collect them) it was a fabulous day! We loved every minute.

Fantastic Wedding Venue
Out of all the wedding fayres we attended, theirs was definitely the one with most vendors complimenting the venue and highlighting how attentive the Albright Hussey team are. The venue itself is beautiful, the oldest part of the building is very charistimac, and the gardens are simply stunning.
The food was delicious, with a varied menu of excellent dishes to choose from. Portions were very generous - all of our guests complimented the menu and no one left hungry. And the evening pizzas were a true cherry on top! The staff were also great at accommodating dietary requirements and allergies.
All the staff were lovely and helpful at every visit and throughout the wedding. Despite them clearly being a popular choice for weddings, we never felt we had anything less than their full attention and support. Emma was also great at talking us through the expectations of the day and guiding us through it step by step. We cannot thank everyone at the Hussey enough for helping to make our wedding so wonderful. We would definitely recommend them to everyone looking for a first class venue for a truly magical wedding!

The preparation before the big day was amazing, Emma & Paul were a message away and responded to us so quickly if we had any questions.
On the day it was run so smoothly, as the bride and groom we didn’t have to worry about a thing!
We had our ceremony outside and the gardens looked incredible, it truly was stunning!
We had so many compliments on the food for both the wedding breakfast and evening reception. The turn around of the room after the wedding breakfast was amazing, we had the fairy lights and it just helped make it all even more magical, was such a lovely touch to elevate the already beautiful room.
The staff were all so lovely and couldn’t have done enough for us, we truly mean it when we say we cannot recommend the Albright Hussey enough, everything was perfect!

I have now been running the Albright Hussey Manor for over 35 years. I have a wealth of experience in weddings & events. Each wedding is unique in its own way which makes my job so exciting. I love meeting newly engaged couples and hearing all about their ideas & plans for their big day.
