Where do I start with the boathouse?! We have taken so long to review purely because we simply can’t put it into words how unbelievably perfect our day was and don’t even know where to start with a review!! We got married on the 19th May, one of the best days in May for weather so we cannot complain one bit! 😜 We cannot thank the staff enough for their support for the year and half build up to the wedding, nothing was too much of an ask and nothing was a silly question or suggestion. You know when you pay for something and basically once you’ve paid, that’s it with the good service? Not at the boathouse that’s for sure!!! They go above and over with EVERYTHING they do and on the day, they were always one step ahead of us with making sure everything just ran so perfectly as it did! Everything felt so organised leading up to it and we didn’t have to worry about a thing! We had Beckie doing most of our organising and she is just so perfect at her job, and the most kind, wonderful person we have ever met! Beckie and Alex were on hand the morning/day of the wedding ensuring everything was as perfect as we’d ever dreamt it to be - and helped keep me calm 🤣 All the staff there are amazing and especially on the day when Ash was on hand to help with literally anything I needed, from grabbing a half eaten icecream off me, to pinning up my dress despite the difficulties of it 🤣 Her and Lauren was always making sure everything felt relaxed and perfect and we couldn’t have asked for anymore! Even stayed with us until we got into the taxi safely and that meant so much to us! We could go on for days talking about the staff and how unreal our day was. Everyone said how AMAZING the food was, even the photographer who’s tried loads of venue’s food!! And we even had people comment and ask where we found such incredible staff, so nothing went unnoticed. I think it’s safe to say we would recommend the boathouse a thousand times over. The most perfect venue we could have wished for! From our first visit, all the meetings and support during planning and the day itself, the team are just amazing! Excellent communication and everyone is so freidly and put us at ease. We can't recommend this venue enough. The venue is stunning, food is amazing and we can't stress enough how fantastic the team is! They worked so hard to make sure everything went so smoothly. A special huge thank you to Abby for all her help during planning and the day itself, nothing was too much trouble and it made us feel so at ease on the day. You are amazing at what you do!

Where do we begin… we cannot thank Abby and everyone at Aston Marina for everything!! Our day was everything we could have wished for and more! Back in 2021 we went on our first official date to Aston Marina and we sat on bench at the top of the hill in the glorious sunshine overlooking the marina and agreed if we were to ever get married we would get married there. Fast forward three years later and on the 24th May 2024 we became husband and wife! Throughout the entire planning process Abby was on hand to help with any query no matter how small but always put our minds at ease. We attended a number of wedding fayres which always proved so helpful together with a glass of fizz! The fayres resulted in us meeting a number of our suppliers for the day and allowed us to show family members around before our big day which they loved. Aston Marina really did make our dream day into a fairytale, no request was too much and we were always welcomed with a smile by all staff! Our day went as smooth as possible with Abby and her team dealing with everything so we had nothing to worry about. We worked together during the planning process to ensure the team knew the vision for our day and they made sure everything was perfect from start to finish! On the day all of our guests were made to be feel welcome with assistance always on hand for our elderly and younger guests. Abby even went to the extra mile with the best surprise ever on the day before our wedding when she arranged for the bench from our first date to be placed back where we had our first day for photos on our day. Aston Marina is a beautiful location and we cannot recommend the venue and team enough. If you have any doubt about booking, there is no need, get your date booked and get ready for the most magical day of your life!

We got married here on Friday 26th April 2024, Wow just Wow, from our first meeting with Abby when scouting possible venues, we felt completely at ease, no pressure at all, Abby is very friendly, whilst professional & goes above & beyond to help. Everyone & everything seemed ideal including the setting & scenery for what we wanted for our special day. Every interaction, input & advice since that first meeting was invaluable. We used Aston Marinas recommended suppliers for our flowers, venue dressing & wedding singer/DJ which were all perfect, friendly, reasonable & reliable. The day was absolutely magical, the food, presentation & service was superb, we couldn't of wished for anymore, I got ready at Aston Marina & bless her, Abby was even sitting with me removing the labels off the bottom of our shoes! to help. Nothing was too much trouble, our heartfelt thanks go out to you all, especially Abby, she knows her job inside & out & was an absolute pleasure to work with, she is an absolute asset to the Team. ❤️ Xxx

From start to finish you were there to help with anything and everything. Saving the day with a major bouquet issue and moving the schedule round to accommodate the speeches early to calm the guys nerves.

We got married in The Boathouse in 2018...it was perfect in every way we could have hoped. The setting, the room itself and all of the staff couldn't do enough for us. The team at Aston Marina were incredible, the food fantastic! I just want to do it all over again!

We got married in June & had the best experience ever! The staff at the boat house were all so lovely, nothing was too much trouble & everyone was happy to help. The whole planning process was smooth running & stress free. The actual venue is beautiful & has such a lovely relaxed feel. So many people have told us it’s the best wedding they’ve been to! Having our dog there also made the day even more special. Would highly recommend!

From first viewing the venue right through to our wedding day (and even after) we have felt so supported. We had regular communication with Abby and meetings to sort out the finer details, with Abby even helping suggest ideas/suppliers - which was a big help when you've never planned a wedding before!

We had a church ceremony before heading over to The Boathouse, where everything was set up perfectly and even better than I had imagined. The staff were ready with the drinks reception and canapes for our guests. The whole day was perfect, we were lucky with the weather so managed to have some time outside, but even the space inside was more than enough especially when all our evening guests arrived.

The packages offered are extremely reasonable and we would definitely recommend The Boathouse to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue!

Rebecca and the team were absolutely amazing from start to finish! Despite the rainy weather they made sure it was perfect and nothing was too much trouble. We had such great feedback from our guests regarding the day and the food was absolutely amazing. Since our first viewing of the venue, Beckie and the team at the Boathouse were incredible. They helped us every step of the way and the day ran so perfectly.

The venue is beautiful and has everything you could want; an indoor light and airy space, an outdoor decking area perfect for drinks, and beautiful views overlooking the water. Just gorgeous.

All I can say is if you want a stress-free, beautiful wedding (all for a decent price!) then book The Boathouse. You will not regret it.

The service offered by the Aston Marina team from beginning to end was first class. Service with diamond smiles, care, professionalism and perfection . We could not of asked for more. All guests both family and friends commented on the outstanding venue and staff … AMAZING 🤩

We got married at the Boat House on June 16th and there are not enough words to describe how perfect the day was.
From the start Beckie was so helpful making sure everything was explained to us and ran smoothly. Then on the day all the staff were super friendly and helpful. All our guested praised them for such a well run day.
As for the venue itself, it's beautiful. There are so many lovely places to take photos and plenty of room for lots of guests.

Our original date was 18th June 2020. Of course this was then postponed and rearranged a few times before we finally got our wedding day on 25th Aug 2021.

I'm everyone will agree, rearranging a wedding, with all the uncertainties that came with it was heart-breaking and completely demotivating. Aston Marina did everything in their power to make it as stress free as possible. I think it is so important to acknowledge how well Aston Marina handled this, many venues can make a perfect wedding day, but a truly exceptional one to still be able to make a perfect wedding day when it all goes wrong in the lead up.

Becky (who we spoke with the most in the lead up to our wedding and on the day) was absolutely fantastic. Everything felt completely taken care of. If there was one thing I never had to stress about during wedding planning, Aston was definitely one of them. Emails are responded to quickly, if you want to just pop in and see the venue for ideas and inspiration, they do their best to accommodate. They were also able to adapt quickly for example, we had 2 people drop out due to positive tests, but their daughter and grandson who originally couldn't make it could now come in their place, and we were able to swap their meals without any fuss at all.

From start to finish, everything went so flawlessly. The staff were super polite and professional.

When the wedding gets brought up, something that always gets mentioned is the GRAVY. We had the Bourguignon, and everyone absolutely drooled over the food. Both the hubby and I are massive foodies, we are ever so happy that people take that memory away with them! Aston were amazing with a few people who had dietary restrictions. One gent who was Coeliac, and was ever so grateful that the venue were able to accommodate hassle free.

The House DJ (Andy) was on top form all night. He got in touch with us a little before to get an idea of what music we like and for any songs which were a must have, like our friendship group songs etc.
