Where do I start with the boathouse?! We have taken so long to review purely because we simply can’t put it into words how unbelievably perfect our day was and don’t even know where to start with a review!! We got married on the 19th May, one of the best days in May for weather so we cannot complain one bit! 😜 We cannot thank the staff enough for their support for the year and half build up to the wedding, nothing was too much of an ask and nothing was a silly question or suggestion. You know when you pay for something and basically once you’ve paid, that’s it with the good service? Not at the boathouse that’s for sure!!! They go above and over with EVERYTHING they do and on the day, they were always one step ahead of us with making sure everything just ran so perfectly as it did! Everything felt so organised leading up to it and we didn’t have to worry about a thing! We had Beckie doing most of our organising and she is just so perfect at her job, and the most kind, wonderful person we have ever met! Beckie and Alex were on hand the morning/day of the wedding ensuring everything was as perfect as we’d ever dreamt it to be - and helped keep me calm 🤣 All the staff there are amazing and especially on the day when Ash was on hand to help with literally anything I needed, from grabbing a half eaten icecream off me, to pinning up my dress despite the difficulties of it 🤣 Her and Lauren was always making sure everything felt relaxed and perfect and we couldn’t have asked for anymore! Even stayed with us until we got into the taxi safely and that meant so much to us! We could go on for days talking about the staff and how unreal our day was. Everyone said how AMAZING the food was, even the photographer who’s tried loads of venue’s food!! And we even had people comment and ask where we found such incredible staff, so nothing went unnoticed. I think it’s safe to say we would recommend the boathouse a thousand times over. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding than The Boat House at Aston Marina! From the very beginning, Lizzy was so helpful. She was incredibly supportive throughout the lead-up to our big day, always quick to respond to emails and offer guidance whenever we needed it.

On the day itself, the staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they ensured everything went smoothly from start to finish. The day ran like clockwork, and we could relax knowing we were in such capable hands.

The food was also a major highlight—delicious and enjoyed by all our guests. We truly had an amazing day and would highly recommend The Boat House at Aston Marina to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with excellent service.

We had our wedding at The Boathouse on 2nd November 2024. The team were fantastic from start to finish. Abby was our wedding coordinator and she was there throughout the process. Whenever we had any questions nothing was too much trouble and her replies were prompt and informative. She was so supportive and made us feel like our wedding was the only one the Boathouse we’re dealing with. All the staff on the day went above and beyond and we can’t thank them enough. Our guests all complimented the amazing food and the venue.

We had the most incredible day for our August wedding at The Boat House. We were so very well looked after from the very beginning to the very end, everyone was simply fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us. The whole team went above and beyond to make our experience absolutely perfect. We couldn’t have chosen a better venue to celebrate our wedding day - highly recommend 💕

The Aston Marina wedding coordinating team were fantastic, always available and speedy in their responses to answer any queries and put in place each and every little request we had.
From attending an open day we loved the venue, the menu tasting event is a must, gives you a great feel for the place as well as tasting the exceptional dishes.
A perfect wedding venue and we and our guests had a glorious day in the August sunshine at this beautiful place.

We could not recommend this venue highly enough! The team at Aston Mariana worked so hard to make sure that we had the most incredible day. From when we first visited on an open day, through to the minute we left the venue after the wedding, we were so well looked after and had every question and query answered to. They helped us put our vision together, and made sure that all of the suppliers were seen to so that we could focus on enjoying our big day. All of our guests said how impressed they were with both the venue and the staff. The food was amazing and everything ran so slick. We are so happy we chose this venue to enable us to have the most perfect day ever 🥰💍❤️

Mr & Mrs Gould married 7th June 2024, The most perfect wedding venue that we could have imagined, everything from the first enquiry to the actual day couldn't of been any better, Abby was there from the moment we viewed the venue, all through the planning and on our final day to make sure it was everything we wanted. All the guests complimented how good the food was and service. All the staff at the Boat house made sure everything ran smoothly and were very attentive and friendly. Where do we begin… we cannot thank Abby and everyone at Aston Marina for everything!! Our day was everything we could have wished for and more! Back in 2021 we went on our first official date to Aston Marina and we sat on bench at the top of the hill in the glorious sunshine overlooking the marina and agreed if we were to ever get married we would get married there. Fast forward three years later and on the 24th May 2024 we became husband and wife! Throughout the entire planning process Abby was on hand to help with any query no matter how small but always put our minds at ease. We attended a number of wedding fayres which always proved so helpful together with a glass of fizz! The fayres resulted in us meeting a number of our suppliers for the day and allowed us to show family members around before our big day which they loved. Aston Marina really did make our dream day into a fairytale, no request was too much and we were always welcomed with a smile by all staff! Our day went as smooth as possible with Abby and her team dealing with everything so we had nothing to worry about. We worked together during the planning process to ensure the team knew the vision for our day and they made sure everything was perfect from start to finish! On the day all of our guests were made to be feel welcome with assistance always on hand for our elderly and younger guests. Abby even went to the extra mile with the best surprise ever on the day before our wedding when she arranged for the bench from our first date to be placed back where we had our first day for photos on our day. Aston Marina is a beautiful location and we cannot recommend the venue and team enough. If you have any doubt about booking, there is no need, get your date booked and get ready for the most magical day of your life!

We tied the knot here on Monday 25th March 2024, Absolutely Phenomenal, this was the first venue we visited and we instantly fell in love, from our first meeting with Abby we felt completely at ease, the whole Boathouse team are very friendly, professional go above & beyond to help.

The venue is beautiful all year round, the surroundings are idilic and everything we could have asked for, for our special day. Communication from the team was brilliant, I would highly recommend going to the open day’s to really take in the beauty of the place.

Our day was truly magical, the food was heavenly, service was superb, we couldn't have wished for anymore.

We got married here on Friday 26th April 2024, Wow just Wow, from our first meeting with Abby when scouting possible venues, we felt completely at ease, no pressure at all, Abby is very friendly, whilst professional & goes above & beyond to help. Everyone & everything seemed ideal including the setting & scenery for what we wanted for our special day. Every interaction, input & advice since that first meeting was invaluable. We used Aston Marinas recommended suppliers for our flowers, venue dressing & wedding singer/DJ which were all perfect, friendly, reasonable & reliable. The day was absolutely magical, the food, presentation & service was superb, we couldn't of wished for anymore, I got ready at Aston Marina & bless her, Abby was even sitting with me removing the labels off the bottom of our shoes! to help. Nothing was too much trouble, our heartfelt thanks go out to you all, especially Abby, she knows her job inside & out & was an absolute pleasure to work with, she is an absolute asset to the Team. ❤️ Xxx

The most perfect day! We can't begin to express how absolutely amazing the staff are at The Boathouse!!! From the very beginning with our tour with Abby we fell in love with the venue! Abby and Beckie are the nicest of ladies. They are brilliant, friendly and would answer any questions we had quickly and professionally. Nothing was ever too difficult and the whole wedding was so easy to organise with them. We had a few dietary requirements and these were no issues. Guests commented on how amazing the food was. The staff on the day were unreal, Lauren looked after us on the day and she was the calmest most fantastic lady to have. We have also stayed in touch with Beckie and the aftercare is also just as good as during the wedding planning. Although this is a wedding venue, where they have lots of weddings each year, we were made to feel like they knew us personally and every little detail was considered. We would absolutely highly recommend!! If you're thinking of the booking The Boat House for your wedding...don't think just BOOK!!!

We got married at Aston Marina back in 2019 and it was the most amazing experience. Rebecca and the team were so lovely and helpful at every stage. We still get comments about how amazing our day was.
