Long Acre Barn was perfect - it provided the most gorgeous backdrop for our pictures and helped create an amazing atmosphere. Janet was really helpful throughout and helped us create a day really tailored to us! We had a lovely ceremony in our local church nearby and then we had our reception here. Long acre was the very first venue we looked at, three years before our wedding. We loved it from the get go and every other place we looked at, just didnt compare to long acre. Not only is it an absolutely beautiful place, but janet and the whole team are so relaxed and accommodating to what what we were after for our wedding day. We wanted an nice relaxing stress free day for us and all our guests, and that's exactly what we had. The barn is beautiful, the enclosed garden the perfect place to celebrate and the cottage accommodation perfect for relaxing beforehand. The fact that there are so many options for where to hold your ceremony, makes this so versatile. You can have the day exactly how u want it..my advice, if looking for a venue.. book long acre. X

We recently had our wedding at this venue and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. From the very first meeting through to the wedding itself, the team were professional, friendly and incredibly helpful.

The venue looked absolutely stunning and received so many compliments from our guests. Everything ran smoothly, which allowed us to relax and enjoy every moment of our day. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and nothing was too much trouble.

The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and the attention to detail was second to none. We are so grateful to everyone involved in making our wedding day so special and memorable.

I can’t recommend Long Acre Barn but more importantly Janet, Jonny, Sally, Emma and the whole Addison family and wider team enough! Even before we went to see the venue we had seen it on social media and knew we would like to have our wedding there, and when we spoke to Janet and looked round we knew it was the venue for us!

Janet is so calm and organised and relaxed which is everything we wanted for our wedding. She’s great at communicating, was available for video call as and emails whenever we needed, and she always one step ahead of the planning which is great when there’s so much to organise.

We went to visit multiple times, could drop things off even from the Wednesday before the Saturday and she made us feel so at home.

The house that comes with LAB was absolutely incredible - we stayed the night before and the night of the wedding and we felt at home. The interiors are incredible and it does just feel like you’re at home which contributed so much to having a relaxed run-up to the wedding.

On the day itself, Janet and the team were just perfect. They made contact with suppliers which meant we didn’t have to worry about this and took control of everything meaning we could just enjoy the day. From being chauffeured from one side of the yard to the other with umbrellas with Elizabeth and Jonny and then on the other side to the orchard along with the rest of the guests, to them being so accommodating to every guest and making sure they were always topped up with a drink (very important!), they were all the absolute dream team and I wish we could do it all over again and I’m very jealous of anyone about to start the process!

We even used Emma’s Acre Kitchen for afternoon tea for our Thursday registry office wedding and she dropped all the food off before we returned home which was all perfectly presented and the food was delicious.

I couldn’t recommend LAB enough and just a huge thank you! It made such a special time even better and I am recommending to anyone and everyone, as well as all of our amazing suppliers. 🪩🥂💕

We can’t thank Janet and her family enough for hosting our wedding here! It’s a beautiful converted barn with perfectly kept gardens, lights all around to brighten it up when it starts to get dark, their own bar with staff and the list goes on. We had the best time celebrating our wedding and Janet made sure everything was on time throughout the day and was there to answer any questions we had during the 2 years of planning. From the moment we met Janet and the team at long acre we knew that is were we wanted to get married, it's such a beautiful place in lovely countryside and we were made to feel at home immediately.
