When we walked in to the venue we had 2 immediate thoughts... 'this is it' and 'we can't afford this'! We were incredibly surprised when discussing prices with the wedding coordinator team when we realised it was within our fairly modest budget. We couldn't recommend this venue highly enough - the location (just 2 minutes walk through the 'secret garden' to the closest church), the staff, the accomodation, the food, the pool & spa, all the stuff that gets included when other places charge you! The wedding coordinators made us feel completely at ease throughout the entire planning process, giving us enough time in meetings to discuss our plans, without putting any pressure on if we hadn't got all the details finalised. We ordererd the standard number of drinks and we were a little nervous that there wouldn't be enough but the general comments was there was plenty! We had the BBQ the night before which was unbelievable, and the canapes, wedding breakfast, evening meal and breakfast were also amazing - couldn't fault it! We had Jenny as our main wedding organiser who was great, she was there throughout our entire day and made sure it all ran smoothly, even being patiently flexible when speeches ran WAY over with food arrangements! Would highly recommend for couples looking for a stunning, rustic, yet affordable venue in the most beautfiul location and part of the country!

If you love The Lake District and the outdoors this venue is the one for you! All of our guests were blown away by the surroundings and we were able to tailor it to exactly what we wanted!

Everything ran like clockwork on the day, it went perfectly and we were so relaxed the whole day. The Eden Barn team were great, from our first viewing right to the end. Choosing Eden Barn made so many aspects of the day so easy. All of our guests thought the venue was beautiful and so well-run. Our wedding day was everything we hoped it would be.

We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect setting for our wedding than New House Farm. From the moment we arrived, we knew it was special, and on the day itself it was absolutely magical. The grounds, the scenery, and the atmosphere gave us everything we could have wished for and more (especially during a grey late November!). Having the venue exclusively for the full weekend was important to us and we loved having the freedom to make our wedding and weekend exactly the way we wanted. A special thank you has to go to Hazel, who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. She was calm, organised, and reassuring throughout — not only on the wedding day itself, but during all the planning stages too. We truly felt looked after from start to finish. Our guests have all commented on how stunning the venue was, and we feel so lucky to have celebrated our wedding at New House Farm. We would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a beautiful, welcoming, and memorable venue.

Myself and my now husband had the absolute pleasure of getting married at this most amazing venue in April 2026, and seriously I could not recommend this place and the incredible team enough. When we first went to go and view the venue, we could just feel how special of a place it was. Driving through past the cabins up to the barn is just breathtaking. We were looking for somewhere where ourselves and our guests could come for a real getaway feel, and we knew that this was the place just from the drive in! Knowing that we could hire the venue for the full weekend to create the perfect getaway experience was such a bonus too. Anyone questioning whether it is worth it- don’t. It’s a million percent worth it!!! We were so lucky that we met Robyn in our initial meeting and to have her on our big day and across the weekend. When we first looked at venues, hidden river was the very first place we visited, and we naively thought all the staff would be just as good. Unfortunately (for the other venues!) this was not the case anywhere else, Robyn being so attentive, Thoughtful, kind and relaxed really just blew any other venue out of the running. And as a bride, I knew there was no possibility of being stressed or feeling overwhelmed when having Robyn on the team. We did also have some unfortunate events on the build up and around our wedding, but the team could really not have been anymore kind or understanding, which again just put us hugely at ease. Thank you thank you THANK YOU!!! The barn itself is just the most incredible venue, photos almost don’t do it justice!! We really did have the most incredible day; the team were so attentive and accommodating. A special shoutout to the bar manager Bethany for looking after us and ensuring we had the most incredible time during the whole weekend! A true credit to the team. From the food, to the cottages, cabins, and venue and of course the staff, there wasn’t a single thing we can fault. We would love to do it all over again, and it most importantly is down to the amazing caring staff. Not going through a chain makes it feel so much more personal and like you’re not being rushed out. I got married here on the 9th May 2026, myself and my husband couldn't have wished for a better experience and we will forever recommend Town Head to anyone looking for a beautiful wedding venue with friendly and professional staff. Bethany and the team worked so hard to make sure our day was absolute perfection from start to finish and we are so grateful. Nothing was ever too much trouble, they were always so accommodating and helpful. The wedding barn, guest accommodation and grounds are absolutely breathtaking and I couldn't of imagined a more perfect place to have spent my wedding weekend. 5* is not enough to give this venue, if I could give more I would! I wish I could spend every weekend here. Thank you so much Bethany and the Team, your help to make our day so special will never be forgotten x

I can’t recommend Long Acre Barn but more importantly Janet, Jonny, Sally, Emma and the whole Addison family and wider team enough! Even before we went to see the venue we had seen it on social media and knew we would like to have our wedding there, and when we spoke to Janet and looked round we knew it was the venue for us! Janet is so calm and organised and relaxed which is everything we wanted for our wedding. She’s great at communicating, was available for video call as and emails whenever we needed, and she always one step ahead of the planning which is great when there’s so much to organise. We went to visit multiple times, could drop things off even from the Wednesday before the Saturday and she made us feel so at home. The house that comes with LAB was absolutely incredible - we stayed the night before and the night of the wedding and we felt at home. The interiors are incredible and it does just feel like you’re at home which contributed so much to having a relaxed run-up to the wedding. On the day itself, Janet and the team were just perfect. They made contact with suppliers which meant we didn’t have to worry about this and took control of everything meaning we could just enjoy the day. From being chauffeured from one side of the yard to the other with umbrellas with Elizabeth and Jonny and then on the other side to the orchard along with the rest of the guests, to them being so accommodating to every guest and making sure they were always topped up with a drink (very important!), they were all the absolute dream team and I wish we could do it all over again and I’m very jealous of anyone about to start the process! We even used Emma’s Acre Kitchen for afternoon tea for our Thursday registry office wedding and she dropped all the food off before we returned home which was all perfectly presented and the food was delicious. I couldn’t recommend LAB enough and just a huge thank you! It made such a special time even better and I am recommending to anyone and everyone, as well as all of our amazing suppliers. 🪩🥂💕

Holesfoot is beyond beautiful. If you’re on the fence, visit Liv & the team here and your decision will be made with no regrets to be had for your venue wedding. Holesfoot has everything you need and more. Liv is attentive and the place has a way of feeling instantly like a home from home. We had the most perfect 4 days celebrating our wedding here and already can’t wait to find excuses to return and make more memories. Nothing is too much trouble and the DIY nature of the venue truly allows you to be as creative and relaxed as you wish. Our guests are all still talking about how perfect the venue was and said it’s the best and most relaxed wedding they’ve ever experienced. A truly special place to get married in a beautiful part of the world.

We had the most amazing day for our wedding at Barn in the Fells, the venue and surrounding area is stunning and the team of people involved are brilliant! Nothing was too much trouble for any of them and they were all so warm and welcoming and just made our day so much more special.

We have just renewed our vows at the Knott Estate and can honestly say we had a fantastic experience. Amy was thoughtful, kind and professional , she thought of everything and helped make the day go smoothly. Highly recommended this venue, for a peaceful, special & beautiful experience xx ❤️
