Meols Hall is an historic 12th-century manor house in Southport. The house sits amidst one hundred acres of beautiful private parkland, providing a stunning setting for your special wedding day. The grand house is located near the quaint village of Churchtown and is one of the oldest settlements on Lancashire’s coast.
The beautiful Tithe Barn sits within Meols Hall’s grounds. The 400-year-old barn has been exquisitely restored to provide one of the most charming wedding venue’s in England.
Every wedding held at Meols Hall is organised to each couple’s individual requirements and ideas. We work with you to help create your perfect wedding celebration. The venue is licensed to hold civil ceremonies, allowing you to spend your whole day in one beautiful location.
The venue is available for exclusive use all year round. In the summer months, the cobbled courtyard and coach house is a great location to greet your guests. During winter, the stunning barn is illuminated by candlelight, providing an enchanting setting for your celebrations.
The Tithe Barn has a fully equipped modern kitchen, central heating, its own bar, disabled access and facilities, and a great sound system. So helpful and flexible throughout times of corona
This was our first place we viewed for our wedding venue and we instantly fell in love with it!
It’s a stunning venue with so much space.
This year has been a nightmare for people getting married and for the venues themselves but the whole way through planning (we kept our date in August) they where so helpful, organised, flexible and always coming up with ideas to help make it the special day we wanted even with reduced people.
Catherine, Sue and Julie are all amazing and I cannot thank them enough (especially Sue who helped with liaising with caterers etc when things where still unknown).
Our day was more than what we thought it would be, it was perfect and all helped by these great people.
I cannot wait to go back again, the venue is breathtaking!Sent on 09/09/2020

The most perfect wedding venue
We got married in summer 2017 at Meols Hall and could not rate the staff and venue highly enough. It truly was our perfect wedding venue and was simply stunning. The barn itself for the reception and wedding breakfast is gorgeous and breath taking especially when decorated. The out barn for afternoon drinks is also perfect; it was great having 2 spaces to use as you didn’t feel rushed out of one place or another. The grounds are stunning for photographs and the cobbled path/brick work looks perfect. We have since returned to Meols Hall for a photoshoot with our son three years after we said I Do and the venue could not be more helpful yet again. Do not hesitate when booking Meols Hall for your wedding day!Sent on 25/07/2020

From our first visit to look at this venue to the day after the wedding, the people at Meols Hall couldn't have done more to help our wedding day go to plan. The venue is beautiful, the staff are so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They kept the reception running smoothly and on time without us realising they were doing it! If we could do it again, we would choose Meols Hall every time!Sent on 08/07/2013
