We had the best wedding ever at the plough inn. Everything turned out perfectly, the day was very wet and the staff were on hand to make sure photographs were perfect and could be taken inside. Down to every last detail, I can't thank the staff enough. They took the time to know my guests and even bring out some children's desserts later in the evening as they fell asleep. We wanted a venue that was flexible in catering options, with a hotel onsite and that didn't break the bank. We got much more than that :)

We genuinely cannot recommend Dorfold Hall highly enough. From the beautiful charm and history of the Jacobean Hall to the ultra-modern L’Écurie with its incredible windows, marble bar and stunning ceremony space, the entire venue is exceptional. Our guests commented time and time again on how beautiful both the venue and its surroundings were. What made our experience even more special was Laura and the incredible Dorfold team. From the very beginning, they supported us through every stage of the planning process and were always on hand, whether it was an email, a phone call or another last-minute request! Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. On the wedding day itself, everything was seamless. From the beautiful bridal suite and continental breakfast prepared for us in the morning, through to the ceremony, drinks, wedding breakfast and evening celebrations, every detail was taken care of. The food was exquisite and the service throughout the entire day was exceptional. They made Adam, myself, our families and every one of our guests feel incredibly special. Laura and her team were nothing short of amazing. Dorfold gave us everything we could have wished for in a wedding venue and more. We genuinely believe it is one of the very best wedding venues in the North West and would recommend it without hesitation. Fernside House is an absolute masterpiece of a wedding venue, and to be honest, we are still completely blown away by everything. From the moment we first stepped onto the property, we knew it was spectacular, but what truly sets them apart is the incredible team behind it. I am a wedding planner based in Shropshire and we hosted a styled shoot at The Cheshire Venue. It is a very new and exciting venue that can hold the most incredible weddings. Judy has put so much love and energy into restoring the venue and her passion really shines through when you meet her. Judy is what makes this place special. We showcased the beautiful Twilight Loft as well as the gorgeous gardens. As a wedding planner, The Cheshire Venue is at the top of venue recommendations list.

We honestly couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue. From our very first enquiry right through to our wedding day, the whole team were incredible. They were so helpful, attentive, and supportive throughout the entire planning process - always happy to answer questions and make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. In particular, Harriet, Steph and Rachel were outstanding - we genuinely couldn't have asked for a better team of people to help us plan our dream day. On the day itself, everything ran smoothly, and any minor hiccups we may have had, they were right on hand to help us get it sorted as soon as possible. It was easy to be calm and relaxed on the wedding day because we had such a fantastic group of people helping us. We had a lot of particular requests and the whole team were so helpful and allowed us the creative freedom to help make our dream a reality. The venue itself is absolutely stunning - more than we could have imagined for our wedding. The lights, the layout, the ceremony room - everything was unbelievable and perfect for us and the team went above and beyond to make sure our vision came to life. They genuinely cared about making our day special, and it showed in every single detail. Thank you for helping make our dream wedding a reality - could not recommend this venue enough!!!

My husband and I had the most magical day of our lives, and we truly could not have chosen a more perfect venue to celebrate it. The entire team at Cheshire Woodland Weddings were an absolute dream. They are some of the kindest, friendliest and most passionate people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting, and we feel incredibly lucky to have celebrated our special day with them. From the moment I first discovered the venue, it immediately spoke to us. The woodland ceremony area felt like something straight out of a fairytale. Surrounded by beautiful greenery and bathed in stunning autumnal light, it was everything we had imagined and more. The barn, with the outdoor pavilion and fire pits and bar all contained near by, it was the perfect space to celebrate the night away and have everyone close and never too far to come running back to the dancefloor! One of the things that made this venue stand out even more was the incredible range of activities on offer. From shooting, axe throwing and archery to even a beautiful bird display, it genuinely felt like the venue had been made for us; as a couple who love activities, it couldn't have suited us better. From our very first enquiry, the team made us feel less like clients and more like close friends. Everyone was so welcoming, approachable and genuinely excited to talk with us. There was such an authentic and natural warmth about the team that instantly put us at ease. We first visited the venue during winter when it wasn't even set up for wedding season and was instead preparing for Christmas. Yet we didn't need to see it dressed up for a wedding to know it was the one. The beauty, atmosphere and charm were evident from the moment we arrived and we could just visualise the beauty we saw on their Instagram, in real life. Throughout the planning process, we had the pleasure of working with Alexandra, who was absolutely amazing! She was patient, so super friendly, supportive and always took the time to answer any questions we had. From day one, she made us feel comfortable, reassured and so excited about planning our wedding. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and her guidance made the entire experience feel smooth, stress-free and so enjoyable! When the wedding day finally arrived, it exceeded every expectation we had. Katie stepped in to coordinate the day, and she was absolutely fantastic! Everything ran seamlessly from start to finish, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment. The way the team set up the venue with all of our decorations, it was exactly what we imagined and more! And of course our guests absolutely loved the day! They couldn't stop talking about how beautiful it was, how much fun the activities were and how wonderful all of the staff had been - and they truly were amazing, not only the coordinators but every one of the team members on the activities, the falconry team for the owl delivery, brilliant bird show and patience with bird handling and the whole bar team throughout the night - you’re all amazing! There simply aren't enough words to express how grateful we are to the entire team at Cheshire Woodland Weddings. They helped create the happiest day of our lives and gave us memories that we will cherish forever. The only sad part is that it's all over. We are newly married 10/10/26 and to anybody looking for a venue with amazing owners, lady grey farm is the perfect venue. We are blown away at how perfect our day was. Vanessa and Dan could not have done more for us. From the very first moment meeting Vanessa to our special day she was nothing short of amazing. Helpful and accommodating! She is a beautiful lady inside and out who takes so much pride in her beautiful venue. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue it was exactly what we were looking for! Vanessa kept the full day calm taking care of the vendors for us and making sure everything for myself and my husband ran smoothly. She was also amazing with our children! We couldn’t thank her enough and we hope to see her again one day!

Perfect! We decided we where going to get married 3 months before, Alcumlow where there every step of the way, with a short time frame and a relaxed couple they took so many of the details we didn’t think to bother with and just turned it around for us! Amazing communication from start to finish guiding us through everything! Nothing was to much, but no small details over looked! Chelsea, Carol and Amy were fantastic and made our day fantastic they become such an important part of your journey it almost feels they should be celebrating with you! ❤️ Wish we could do it all again!

Grange Barn was the most incredible setting for our wedding day. From our very first interaction, the owners and staff were so professional, kind and supportive, making the whole experience feel completely seamless, from our initial viewing and all the planning in between, right through to the wedding day and set-down afterwards. We loved being able to add our own decor and personal touches to make the barn truly feel like us, and seeing everything come together on the day was so special. On the wedding day itself, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Marcy and Grace coordinated everything perfectly, which meant we could simply relax, enjoy every moment and take it all in.
