Owen House Wedding Barn

We had our wedding at Owen House on 7th November 2025. It surpassed all our expectations and more! What a fabulous venue, Kris and the staff went above and beyond for us and made the day run so smoothly. Each and everyone of our guests commented on how special Owen House is. Could not recommend them highly enough 😊

Owen House Wedding Barn was the most incredible venue for our wedding day, and we honestly couldn’t have wished for anywhere more perfect!

Firstly, we want to say a massive thank you to the whole team, especially the wonderful Kris and I think Elle who we managed to have a few meetings with. On the day Kris went above and beyond to make sure our day ran as smoothly as possible. From checking in on us in the bridal suite to going back and forth to the BaaBaa Shed to speak to the lads, nothing was ever too much trouble. Kris made sure everything was taken care of, allowing us to relax and enjoy every single moment of our special day. We really can’t thank her enough!

One thing we will say is that the photos online really don’t do this venue justice. You absolutely need to see it in person to appreciate just how beautiful it is. It’s such a gorgeous, versatile space and almost like a blank canvas, allowing you to bring your own vision to life and decorate it exactly how you’ve always imagined.

From the very beginning, the communication from Owen House, the drinks team, the accommodation team and Cheshire Dining was outstanding. Every single question we had was answered, so many recommendations were given (to which they were accommodative to the external vendors we chose eg singer and DJ), and we were always given the right contacts whenever we needed anything. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, which made the whole wedding planning process so much easier. And they gave us a timeline from booking so we knew what was due and when.

We received so many compliments from our guests about how stunning the venue was! We were also incredibly lucky with the weather, meaning we could make the most of the beautiful outdoor space and enjoy drinks outside. And can say… the strawberry daiquiris were an absolute HIT! We had lots of comments on them.

Another thing that really sets Owen House apart is just how much it has to offer. Not many wedding venues have a beautiful bridal preparation suite, a separate space for the groom and groomsmen to get ready, accommodation on-site, plenty of parking for guests and finally being able to have your whole day there - getting ready, ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening celebrations all at the same venue! There was no need for anyone to travel between locations, and the whole day flowed so effortlessly. Having all of this in one place made such a difference.

Owen House really does have everything you could possibly need for your wedding day, and the team genuinely go above and beyond to make it special.

We wish we could do it all over again! Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more, and Owen House played such a huge part in making that happen.

Myself Emma and my new husband Josh would like to say a huge thank you to all the team at Owen House Wedding Barn. From the moment we booked our wedding back in September 2024 to getting married 21 August 2026 the whole team have been amazing with the planning and prepping for our day! If we were ever unsure of anything we could email or call and they helped us out! On the day of the wedding Kris did an exceptionally good job making sure everything ran smoothly and all went to plan! We couldn’t be happier with our choice of venue, all our guests also loved the venue and commented on how stunning it was! Thank you again we will be highly recommending Owen House Wedding Barn!

When we started our search for a wedding venue we were at the point where we thought we might have had to make sacrifices on what we wanted. That was until a random day we came across an open house at OHWB and wow were we amazed

The ceremony room, bridal room, reception area and accommodation absolutely blew us away the added bonus of having a grooms room on sight too sold it to us and I immediately made my partner come back the next day to book in a date.

The lead up to the wedding Owen House kept in touch, made sure we were ok and at our initial meet went through a key timeline on when to expect meetings or info from them.

When I say nothing was too much trouble I mean nothing, emails were replied too almost instantly, they were always on hand for calls and nothing was too much of an issue for them

On the day allowing us into the bridal room early was amazing, Everthing was in hand and I was left to just enjoy my morning whilst Owen House made sure everything was perfect. I honestly could not have asked for anything better.

When we started to book in our other suppliers they always commented on how organised Owen house were and how well run the whole day is by them and I truly underestimated what they meant until my wedding day where I saw it first hand. You’re left to be a bride and groom. The day was perfect I really cannot shout about that enough. We recently celebrated our wedding at Owen House Wedding Barn and honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. From our first visit right through to the wedding itself, the team were incredibly helpful, professional, and attentive to every detail.

We’ve received so many compliments from our family and friends about the venue, the atmosphere, and how well the day was organised. Thank you to everyone involved for helping create such special memories that we’ll treasure forever.

We had our wedding here and planned it with only 5 months notice. Vanessa, El, Chris and the entire team were so helpful. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The team have thought about everything and meetings with them prior to our wedding were informative, helpful and stress-free. They are so flexible and were proactive in coming up with solutions to problems we had. We could not thank them enough and would not have had the beautiful wedding we had hoped for if it wasn't for their ideas, thoughts and help.

Throughout the entire wedding process, OHWB team were on our side, working with us. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

On the day the team were so helpful and attentive. They blended into the wedding but were present and available when needed. They completely took the stress and pressure off us.

I would recommend every aspect of what they offer.

We had a number of viewings for various venues booked in but ended up going to Owen House last minute for an open day. We knew from the second we walked in it was where we wanted to get married (and partly for the fact I cried when seeing the ceremony room!) we loved the character and charm of the barn, along with the friendly and professional service!

As we had guests travelling from all over the country we wanted somewhere that had option to stay over so this also ticked another box! As there was no wedding the day before we were able to book out rooms the night before too and were able to use the tool shed and pizza oven for food and BYO drinks the night prior which ended up been such an enjoyable evening ! (Caroline & Richard were fab!!!!!)

We had lots of communication over the time we planned the wedding whether that was through email, open days and meetings. Communication was always quick and professional. On the day Kris was fantastic. Always there for any questions and direction with where to be and what to do!

We have had so many comments from guests on the venue itself and how fantastic it was and we had the best day ever !!! It was so nice to have the Beauty Shed and BaaBer Shed, we liked the fact this was so handy and made the morning more relaxed! (Bacon baps and croissants were also brought for everyone!)

I could write an essay about how amazing this venue was but if you are looking for something with character and a great people then this is the place !!

What a venue this has been from start to finish. From the moment we met Vanessa and Dan we fell in love with this venue. We loved the flexibility to be able to add our own touches and make it our own style all with the guided help of Ell and Kris. I can't recommend this venue enough, we're a week on from our wedding and we still have guests telling us how outstanding it was, we've also had many guests commenting that it was the best wedding they have been to in years and I believe this is largely down to how amazing the venue Is and how meticulous the staff are. Ell has been my guiding hand through the weeks and months leading up to our day and not to mention on the day itself. Ell is a credit to Owen House, her attention to detail and ability to keep our day calm and well organised was down to her.

I can't honeslty thank all the staff enough, I am genuinely going to miss popping up to the venue for open days and meetings to plan our wedding. I'll be looking forward to heading over for a stay for our 1 year anniversary.

My now hubby and I got married at OHWB a few weeks back and it was beautiful from start to finish. This was our 7th venue we visited... and genuinely, there isnt another like it. It is faultless from start to finish. The team are epic, Vanessa was on hand to answer every question from start to finish, regardless of how stupid they were. Kris was an absolute queen and made sure the day went by seamlessly on the day itself. The facilities are second to none - you have to see them for yourself to understand. From the on site accommodation, to the getting ready areas, to the ceremony room, to the breakfast room to the secret room for photos on the day, it is just pure joy. Our only wish is we could do it again! Some practicalities - the alcohol isnt ridiculously expensive, the caterers they allow you to use are top notch and will create the best feast, other than that - just wonderful. I got married here on Friday. Wow, what a venue. From the very first time I viewed Owen house I knew it was the venue for me. Ell one of the wedding coordinators there is absolutely amazing, she looked after me every step of the way. Communication with the venue was great too! I’m honestly gutted that it’s all over, all the staff there are 10/10. Thanks to all the team for making my day everything I could have wanted and more

We had our wedding at Owen house wedding barn. We looked at many venues but instantly fell in love with this venue when we attended an open day. It was perfect. The whole experience of planning and the wedding day was an amazing experience. They are so supportive and helpful. All our guests loved the barns. The facilities from the barns and the beauty room and barbers shed are amazing. The accommodation on site is lovely. The team at Owens house are amazing and communication was excellent.

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue. From the start, the team were open, flexible, and totally up for helping us with some of our more unusual requests. The whole vibe is relaxed and welcoming, which made the planning feel way less stressful and the day itself even more special.

A huge shoutout to El, who was amazing in the lead-up, and Kris, who kept everything running smoothly on the day. Everyone who stayed over absolutely loved it—and the breakfast the next morning was the perfect way to round things off.

We got married at Owen House at the end of August this year. We wanted a venue that could be a one-stop shop to minimise additional logistics and this proved to be the perfect choice. The team at Owen House are all fantastic and helped guide us through the process of planning the day. They supplied an information pack with guide schedules, suggested layouts, suppliers and thoughts on all aspects such as amounts of alcohol etc. This really helped make the process for us streamlined and able to quickly focus on making key decisions about the day and what we wanted. There are a bridal and groom prep area to get hair, make up and dressed prior to the ceremony. The Ceremony room was beautiful and intimate and the registrars from Cheshire East were absolutely brilliant. The barn is a large space with the bar at the back alongside a chill out room (which our kids loved). I always wanted a space where everyone was together and this was the perfect choice. The whole site offers a range of spaces for beautiful photo opportunities, we even had a photo hanging out with the cows. The wedding day was absolutely fantastic and the calm presence of Kris the coordinator was very appreciated by me to keep us on track timewise. The day ran so smoothly and we have had so many comments and praise from our guests on the venue and how brilliant a day it was. The venue has accommodation on site, which we and our immediate family used. The rooms are very well appointed and being able to walk 2 mins to bed was very welcome after a fantastic day. Having researched venues online, we only actually visited Owen House as we immediately knew it was the right place for us. We ended up using suppliers that work regularly at the venue and this helped hugely with planning as they were all able to offer insight as to what would work within the venue. We highly recommend this venue and thank you for the most amazing day.

The whole team at Owen House made our day so seamless. There was a relaxed atmosphere at morning and they couldn’t do enough for us throughout the day. Would highly recommend, lots of comments from guests on how lovely the venue was!

We had our wedding at owen house in May 2025 and it was just the most perfect venue, the place itself is so beautiful, from the ceremony room to the main room, bridal suite, grooms room and all of the accommodation.
On top of that, the team are so incredibly accommodating and always put myself and my husband at ease. Special mention to Ell and Kris who are just incredible women working at Owen house, we couldnt have done it without them
