Wyresdale Weddings is a charming countryside, barn & manor house wedding venue located in the Forest of Bowland. The venue's heritage barns have been lovingly restored to create a stunning, spacious venue where you can exchange your vows, enjoy your wedding breakfast and party the night away. Estate cottages and old coach houses provide accommodation for both the night before and night of your wedding. Lawns, lakes and woodlands are all on hand for timeless photos, providing picture perfect backdrops for your drinks reception.
Although this romantic gem is adored for its tranquil atmosphere and scenic beauty, it is well-connected to major cities thanks to its proximity to the M6.
The Wyresdale estate has undergone some incredibly exciting changes for 2025... New outdoor developments include a beautiful walled Ceremony Garden, where you can say 'I do' with the rolling fells of the Trough of Bowland as your backdrop and a stunning Reception Garden with oak pavilion, outdoor bar and a lawn for outdoor games.
There is also a newly enhanced inside bar, with bespoke banquette leather seating and underfloor heated limestone floor. Should the weather be on the cooler side, your indoor drinks reception space has now been refreshed and includes an abundance of comfortable seating, a log burner, underfloor heating and stunning chandeliers. Not forgetting the glazed atrium area which is perfect to dance the night away under the stars!
FACILITIES & CAPACITIES
Wyresdale Weddings is home to a variety of beautiful event spaces. The Ceremony Barn is an ideal place to tie the knot, offering a stunning blank canvas for you to bring your wedding ceremony dreams to life. Able to seat up to 140 people, our ceremony barn maintains many of its original barn features, as well as a log burner which is perfect for those stunning winter weddings. The White Barn with its towering ceilings and exposed oak beans is the perfect space to host your wedding breakfast. Evening receptions can be held in the vibrant Atrium, a creative space for your drinks reception and late-night dancing.
ONSITE ACCOMMODATION
All accommodation is located just a stone’s throw from our rustic wedding barns, allowing all of your closest friends and family to stay with you on either the night before or night of your wedding. Take a look at our accommodation options here:
The North Wing, night before your wedding (sleeps 6) - part of our grand manor house, showcasing many of its original features that exude traditional charm – perfect for you and your loved ones to enjoy on your wedding day. The North Wing boasts three spacious double bedrooms, a roll-top bath, walk-in showers, a large kitchen/diner and a cosy wood-panelled drawing-room.
The Lodge, night before your wedding (sleeps 6) - A timber clad cabin that sits close to the North Wing. It will provide accommodation for up to six, with one king-sized bedroom, one double and a twin. The Lodge also features a lounge and kitchen area for guests to enjoy. Set in the woodland, with views across the park, The Lodge is the perfect place for your wedding party to spend the night before your wedding.
The Honeymoon Suite, night of your wedding (sleeps 2) - Accessed from the South Lawn gardens, you’ll enter into a private, panelled drawing room, cosy and perfect for a glass of champagne after your long day. Connected to this,via a sliding door, is your master bedroom, with super-king luxury bed, high ceilings, ensuite bathroom, walk-in shower and beautiful lighting.
The Coach House, night of your wedding (sleeps 8) - Four ensuite ground floor bedrooms available the night of the wedding. These bedrooms are located in the estate’s historic Coach House, with original panelling and beautiful beams. Adding these bedrooms into the wedding venue will allow you to have 38 friends and family to stay onsite.
Keeper's Cottage, night of your wedding (sleeps 6) - Keeper’s Cottage is the perfect hideaway for some of your nearest and dearest. Located next to the Orchard Glampsite and just moments walk from our rustic wedding barns, the cottage features a light and spacious open plan kitchen/dining room, three king-sized bedrooms (one with the option of a twin set up) and a separate shower room and bathroom – with a luxurious roll-top bath.
The Orchard Glampsite, night of your wedding (sleeps 20) - Our Orchard Glampsite features ten wonderfully rustic yet luxurious yurts for your guests to enjoy on the evening of your wedding. In contrast to the rest of our traditional accommodation, the yurts are a fun and unique spot for your guests to rest their heads. All yurts are raised on timber decks with heated king size beds (sleeping two guests), phone charging facilities and have access to a fully fitted kitchen, beautiful dressing room, lavatories & showers.
The Nook, night of your wedding (sleeps 2) - A cosy and luxurious hideaway for your nearest and dearest to rest their head. The Nook is tucked away right next to your other guests in The Orchard Glampsite – perfect for that hidden hideaway without missing out on all the fun!

Before -
The first tour I did, it left me speechless. That was purely because of the grounds. I wouldn’t stop talking about it and it was my dad who said, if it was your dress you would say yes as it just feels right. That same evening, the email was sent.
During -
None stop communication but not too much, the staff just get it! The staff here don’t just take money and have no communication. They are there when needed, all platforms of communication! No question is silly. They are ALL for fun ideas!
Wedding Eve / Wedding Day -
AMAZING, SELFLESS, ABOVE & BEYOND!
We had the option to go up the day before to set up as there was no weddings on. Which we as couple personally loved. We could dress the venue how we wanted and could have that experience ourselves.
From John and his family, to all the staff at Wyresdale they just want you to have the best time. They are there to make sure you have the best day of your life. I know it’s their job to take care of everything but they really do!
So in a nutshell, BOOK THE TOUR & THEN BOOK WYRESDALE PARK AS YOUR WEDDING VENUE!
The most incredible wedding day!
We had our wedding here last week, and trying to put into words how incredible the experience was feels impossible—but we’ll try. From the moment we first stepped onto the grounds, we knew this place was special. What we didn’t realise was just how deeply it would exceed every single expectation we had.
The accommodation was immaculate, and the décor was absolutely stunning. Our guests stayed across the Yurts, the Cottage, the Lodge, the Coach House, the Nook, and especially The North Wing, and every space felt magical. Each room was beautifully designed, warm, welcoming, and so thoughtfully prepared. Our family and friends kept telling us how blown away they were—it felt like everyone had their own private retreat.
The ceremony room was breathtaking—so romantic, intimate, and filled with the most beautiful atmosphere. It truly felt like a dream walking down the aisle. The White Barn then hosted the most amazing wedding breakfast. The space was gorgeous, bright, elegant, and perfect in every way. Every corner of this venue is just perfect.
We also loved the little nook area off the bar where the children could relax and play—such a thoughtful touch that made things easier for parents and added to the relaxed, welcoming feel. And not forgetting the Atrium—what an incredible space! We loved our confetti isle, the different spaces tied the whole day together and created such a stunning flow from one moment to the next.
And then… the staff. The wedding coordinators were genuinely extraordinary. From the very first viewing, to every phone call, to the night before the wedding, and throughout the entire day, they were kind, caring, and incredibly supportive. They went above and beyond in ways we saw—and in so many ways we’re sure we didn’t—just to make everything perfect. Their calmness, warmth, and attention to detail made us feel so at ease and allowed us to enjoy every single moment.
Our wedding day ran flawlessly. Every part of it felt thoughtful, seamless, and filled with love. Our guests adored the venue, our suppliers were impressed, and we were overwhelmed by how perfect everything felt from start to finish.
We cannot speak highly enough about this venue. It didn’t just host our wedding—it helped create memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
And then… there was Jaydi. What an exceptionally kind, professional, lovely, and beautiful person. She is the most unbelievable wedding coordinator, and we feel so lucky to have had her by our side. She made everything feel effortless, and truly nothing was ever too much trouble. Because of Jaydi, our entire day felt absolutely stress-free. Her calmness, organisation, and genuine care meant we could just soak in every moment without a single worry. We can never thank her enough for everything she did—she is extraordinary.
If you want a venue that is beautiful, deeply caring, and unforgettable in every sense, this is the place. Wyresdale we will forever be grateful.

Wedding Day
The venue is beautiful and just what we were looking for.
The staff are unbelievable and just can’t do enough for you. The coordinator team are just unbelievable at their job making the day completely stress free and always checking in with you. Nothing was too much to ask, even asking if my horse and dog could attend the wedding!
If we could do our wedding day all over again then we would, it was without a doubt the best day of our lives and that was all thanks to the amazing team at Wyresdale - no words will describe how grateful we are - so thank you!
The most perfect day
To our surprise a 6 months before the wedding we got an email about new improvements being made. We weren’t worried for a second knowing their taste and attention to detail was beautiful. But we were blown away on the day the new outdoor space, the upgraded bar, the extended disco barn and redone bathrooms everything was finished to perfection. All our guests talked about how incredible the wedding was and how they have never been to a wedding like that before.
Our wedding day itself was everything we had dreamed of. Claire and Leah were absolutely incredible, taking care of every tiny detail and making sure everything ran seamlessly. Thanks to them all we had to do was enjoy every little moment.
We honestly wish we could do it all over again. Wyresdale Park gave us the most magical day of our lives and we couldn’t be more grateful. If you’re thinking of booking this venue do it. You won’t regret it.
Stunning venue
We viewed more than 15 venues in the area and this (in our opinion) is by far and away the best. The recent renovation is superb - perfect for drinks receptions and looks absolutely beautiful (in the flesh as well as photos). The outdoor bar worked well.
The lodge works well to stay for the groom the night before (do it, avoids stress on the day). The north wing is perfect for the bridal party to stay and get ready prior to the wedding.
The different barn rooms allow smooth transition between points of the day (ie after speeches to dancing) without guests being herded in and out of a single room - this was so important to us. The ability to have photos in the forest and take 10 minutes away from things on the boat in the lake was a beautiful moment.
We had our ceremony on site which was perfect and never felt rushed. The venue looked amazing. The fact it rained meant we had the ceremony indoors rather than our preference of outdoors, but the stunning ceremony barn was perfect and intimate and actually worked better for us. The outdoor garden really has filled out and looks stunning - a fitting place for family photos under the pergola.
The staff couldn’t have done more to assist our guests in wheelchairs and accessibility throughout (since the improvements) is brilliant and very welcome. Ample space for 150 evening guests and dancing without feeling too big or the wedding party getting too dispersed. The fire pit allowed toasting of marshmallows for guests through the night.
The on site glamping is excellent and means the party can continue long into the night for >20 of your guests. Honeymoon suite is beautiful, as were the coach house rooms.
All the co-ordinators (Leah, Claire and Jadie) couldn’t do more to help us and make our day special. Everything ran as smoothly as we could’ve dreamed of. They had a can-do attitude and did everything to make our requests a reality (including but not limited to sweet stalls, individualised playlists, hammerschlagen and other outdoor entertainment).
Our vendors Striped Kitchen were fantastic and provided loads of beautiful food. Mark the piano guy played us in - amazing. Our photographers Scott and Lees were so calming and provided beautiful photos. Gemma at Bluebells and Daisys dressed the venue with flowers in such a beautiful way, and was accommodating with last minute changes (THANK YOU!!).

Beautiful venue, incredible team, unforgettable day
The venue is stunning. We loved it when we first viewed it, but after the renovations, it’s even more beautiful. It’s kept all its rustic charm, just with a more polished feel.
The West Wing and Lodge were ideal for getting ready – calm, spacious, and beautiful. The guys had breakfast at the on-site café while we had food delivered by Stripped Kitchen, which was delicious.
The weather wasn’t ideal, but the light-filled atrium meant it didn't matter. It actually worked in our favour, keeping everyone together indoors and creating a cosy, intimate atmosphere.
Our guests absolutely loved the venue – so many commented on how unique and beautiful it was. The on-site accommodation was a huge plus too, meaning lots of our friends and family could stay. The teepee kitchen was perfect for a few late-night drinks, and it was lovely to see everyone again the next morning for breakfast.
Big thanks to Leah as thanks to here - the day ran seamlessly.
We can’t thank the Wyresdale team enough. Our day was everything we hoped for – relaxed, beautiful, and unforgettable.
Where do I even begin?
The whole day was so seamless, helped by Claire & Leah. I didn’t think about a single thing all day.
The grounds have so many incredible spots for photos. Our doggos were included on the day which just made it even more perfect.
The food by the striped kitchen was also amazing, all the guests kept raving about it!
If you’re thinking about viewing this venue, do it! You will not regret it.

The renovations to the venue are stunning — they've managed to preserve its charm while adding thoughtful, modern touches that elevate the whole experience. Our guests haven’t stopped raving about how beautiful the setting was and how smoothly everything went.
We truly couldn’t have asked for a better day or a more supportive team to help bring it all together. Wyresdale is a dream venue, and we feel so lucky to have celebrated there! Highly, highly recommend.
A word of caution though: The wedding blues will hit you HARD after getting married there…make sure you have your honeymoon booked quickly after!!
The best venue for the best day!
Our co-ordinators, Clare and Leah, could not have been more helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We arrived the day before to style and set up the barns but weren't able to do everything in time. When we saw the barns on our wedding day they exceeded our expectations with how they had been styled.
The bar staff were brilliant from pouring pints to tying together a guest's broken shoe!

Theres no better venue!
Me and my partner had searched for venues and were giving up hope when we found Wyresdale. We knew straight away we’d found our venue.
It’s the only venue that was perfectly accommodated for summer AND winter. We had a winter wedding and the inside was so beautiful I didn’t care if it rained.
Throughout the co-ordinates were so helpful and on the day they were incredible! Leah and Amy were so helpful and kind and we were so grateful to them for making the day a success!
The food from striped kitchen is incredible too all our guests raved about it, the flowers from their florist were beautiful and the bridal cottage the night before is stunning!
You will have the best wedding at Wyresdale!
