Wyresdale Park offers a collection of beautiful rustic wedding barns, country house, boating lake, glamping and spa all nestled in the rolling hills of Scorton.
Wyresdale Park is a family run country estate in the heart of the Forest of Bowland. The Estate is a big-hearted, hidden gem - “a land that time forgot”- where you will discover mature gardens, a beautiful boating lake, majestic views over Lancashire and lots of secret places for you and your guests to explore.
Our Heritage Barns were built to the highest standards a hundred and fifty years ago and follow a unique architectural design that perfectly fits a unique wedding celebration. The Wedding Barns have been renovated and presented as a blank canvas for your bespoke wedding.
We are the opposite of a hotel wedding package, we are your home for your duration of your stay with us.
PACKAGES AVAILABLE (to incl. Wedding Barns, accommodation, yurts, flowers, photography, toasting, feasting and hair/makeup)
The stunning White Barn is where you will have your wedding breakfast and reception, with high ceilings, balcony, original beams and old stables, a hugely characterful building that feels intimate with seventy or atmospheric with a hundred and seventy.
The Ceremony Barn is the perfect place to exchange vows.
The Disco Barn for dancing, djs and parties.
Finally, The Tavern is our small, picturesque mini pub which connects all three barns and is the perfect place for welcome fizz or after-hours ales.
The North Wing's accommodation is a self-catering, three-bedroom wing of Wyresdale Park. The house is filled with original furniture from the 1850s but decorated for a contemporary and fresh feel.
A well-equipped kitchen & diner provides a spacious area for drinks and seating for ten. At 10m x 5m, this large open plan space makes a handsome entertainment area. After dinner, sneak through to the oak panelled drawing room and sit by the fire with a glass of something fizzy.
An onsite cottage just off the glamping village - comes complete with 3 kingsize bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a beautiful communal kitchen, dining and lounge area.
The estate has two very beautiful glamping sites. The Orchard is adjacent to the venue, can sleep 20 people in yurts. All yurts are on raised timber decks set within an old orchard. Feather down lodges is another option, 5 safari tents with log burners and outdoor hot tubs that sit on the edge of the lake.
Hidden away behind the café gardens is the beautiful south lawn. The perfect outdoor space to host your drink reception. Serve fizz, fill the lawn with games and have your photos taken with Wyresdale Hall in the background.

Having the freedom to decorate the barn on the Fri
A massive thank you to the Wyresdale team who have been absolutely fantastic from booking right through to our perfect wedding day. Having the freedom to decorate the barn on the Friday with our nearest and dearest was really special & we were able to let our creativity loose. Claire and Gemma were simply amazing on the day helping out with everything from lighting hundreds of candles to tying up my dr martens! The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and many of our guests commented on its uniqueness and were amazed by the amount of different spaces - it can transform so effortlessly from a gorgeous daytime space to an amazing evening party venue. It's hard to put into words how magical the whole experience was and how dedicated and down to earth the team are. Even in these times of uncertainty, the amount of love, joy and warmth from all the Wyresdale team and the fabulous suppliers that work closely with them radiated to us and all of our guests. I really cant thank them enough for everything and I know they will give so many brides and grooms such special memories for years to come. Wyresdale will always be a part of our hearts and we cant wait to be able to visit the team to say hello. If you're thinking of booking this venue just do it! I know I'm biased but it was the best wedding I've ever been to... and our guests thought so tooSent on 15/04/2020
