I honestly don't know where to start with this review.
Ryan and I said hes to the venue back in 2023 and for 2.5yrs the wedding team have just been amazing, constant communication, nothing was ever too much trouble, they were quick to emailed back (and I emailed a lot) they keep couples updated with upcoming events (I really recommend future couples attend the menj tasting, was a great evening).
The wedding day went incredibly well, the two coordinators we had for the day kept us in the know of what to expect next, was reassuring me and helping with nerves, and were fantastic with all of our guests.
The venue is absolutely stunning and every couple really can make it their own. I really cannot recommend this venue enough!

The staff at the plough are amazing, nothing is too much and always on hand to help. On the day we had a couple of little hiccups but the staff sorted them whilst causing as little stress as possible to us.

The value for money at the plough is amazing and it’s no wonder they are always fully booked up.

The perfect venue for our wedding! From our first meeting to the day itself, nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they made planning the big day easy and stress free.
The package we opted for was such a great price, food was delicious and they were flexible with vegan/drink options which helped us out a lot. The day itself was managed exceptionally and we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you!

Everything about The Plough was just perfect. The staff couldn’t have done more, they went above and beyond every time we were there and I’ve never felt so comfortable around strangers. The venue was a DREAM and made our wedding perfect. The barn, the lights, the features, the staff and food was just perfect and nobody had a bad word to say. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Our Wedding day at The Plough could not have gone better, I wish I could do the day all over again in hindsight knowing how smoothly it would go!
The night before the wedding my nerves hit with full force, I was having all kinds of thought at what could do wrong and the dreaded aisle walk for me! I could not have been more wrong, everything went perfectly! The staff at The Plough were amazing, I was put at ease straight away at the ceremony.
To all future couples thinking about The Plough as their venue, I fully recommend.. from a very nervous bride! Nothing is too big or too small.

We had our wedding at The Plough Inn on 07.11.25 and it was without question, the best day of our entire lives. From start to finish, The Plough exceeded every single expectation we had.

The oak barn is completely stunning and our guests were honestly overwhelmed by how beautiful it was. We had so many people tell us it was the most stunning venue they’d ever been to and one of our guests even said it was the best food they had ever tasted in their life. The Winter Package was unbelievable value and everything ran so smoothly from ceremony to reception.

The team at The Plough were exceptional. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they supported us throughout the whole planning process, on the day itself, and even the day after. They were warm, organised, reassuring, and genuinely invested in making our wedding perfect... and they absolutely did!!

The rooms are gorgeous, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. Also very handy to stumble across at midnight!
The breakfast the next morning was such a lovely way to end the celebrations with our loved ones- delicious, relaxed, and thoroughly enjoyed by every single person.

We honestly couldn’t recommend The Plough Inn more. It’s a magical venue with an amazing team and we’re so grateful for the memories they helped us create. If you’re considering getting married here.... do it. It will be the best decision you make.

We knew as soon as we viewed the venue that it was right for us. Kathryn who showed us round was so calm, there was no pushiness just a great vibe.

We had the ceremony at the Plough at 4pm, food-wise we had canapés followed by the BBQ option which suited the relaxed-style we were going for perfectly. In the evening the team brought pizzas out. The food was fabulous!! As we didn’t go for a package we had a minimum spend on food and drink and the team were great at offering different ideas on how we could make it work for us.

Our wedding day was the most wonderful day, we wouldn’t have changed a thing.

We got at The Plough a couple of months ago and what an incredible day, venue and staff team.

From the moment I saw the barn I knew I wanted to get married there, it is like it has been taken of the pages of a fairytale. It is a perfect size for those who don't want a massive wedding, cosy yet still spacious.

The staff were welcoming, friendly, responsive and helpful thought the planning process. We had a number of adults guests who wouldn't eat the adult meal due to additional needs and the venue was very accommodating and understanding if this without charging extra to cater for this as some venues do.

The food was amazing! One aspect I was nervous about was having to choose from a set menu as these are often small, overly fancy meals that people either don't eat or are hungry afterwards and originally during our planning process we wanted an afternoon tea during the day and pizza vans in the evening, but oh my did The Plough squash that notion 😍 the food was incredible and even guests who didn't think they'd eat certain things cleared their plates! Not one guest had anything negative to say or any complaints.

We had several guests commenting on the venue and saying that this was their favourite wedding they had attended. The day didn't feel rushed at any point and the flow as suggested by the team was perfect.

For those staying over, the rooms are lovely as is the breakfast!

One thing we were also concerned about was wheelchair accessibility for one of our guests as often venues claim to be accessible but they're not really very good. This is not the case for the Plough, if this is something you are concerned about/need to prioritise then I can recommend The Plough for this also. However the accessible bedrooms bathroom needed more adaptions but this is something the plough have already got in the works for 2026.

We had the best day of our lives at the Plough inn. All of our guests said it was the best and most fun, relaxed wedding they've ever attended. We are still getting people talking to us about how good the food was weeks later. The staff were all amazing and I am so grateful for their support on the morning of our wedding! Wish we could do it all over again. Will definitely be back for our anniversaries.

When we first saw The Plough’s wedding package online we were a little skeptical as it seemed too good to be true…how wrong we were! From our very first visit, we realised just how special this venue is. The team went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect and they genuinely care. From the flawless service and delicious food to the way they looked after our guests and suppliers, nothing was ever too much trouble.

The beautifully restored oak-beamed barn created such a warm, intimate atmosphere, and every detail was handled with genuine care. We honestly couldn’t have wished for a better experience. So many of our guests have told us it was the best wedding venue they’ve ever been to, and we couldn’t agree more. Choosing The Plough was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

We cannot thank the Plough Inn team enough! From start to finish the team were fantastic and made our day absolutely amazing. The team were able to do everything we wanted to make the day as we'd envisioned, shared their expertise and were on hand all day to make sure everything ran smoothly. (Special thanks to Jo and Laurie on the day for this!) They were really responsive to any questions, friendly and professional. The food was lovely including the breakfast the day after! Highly recommend the venue and the team!

We booked with the Plough the first day we visited the venue, and are so glad we did. The barn was gorgeous and the staff were always so attentive and on the ball(including when Wren lost a piece of jewellery that was later found - they helped relieve a lot of stress there!).

The food and atmosphere was incredible, and we couldn't fault a single moment of the day. Any queries we had prior to the day(or on the day) were answered quickly and with professionalism. Wren is disabled so in particular around questions around accessibility they were always able to give great informative answers.

We can't thank them enough, they helped make the day so special!

What can I say! The staff were super friendly and helpful all day and The Plough is the perfect wedding venue.

We had our wedding at The Plough in May and it was perfect. The barn was such a special and intimate venue for our day. The food was great as it always is at The Plough and the accommodation was comfortable and spotless.

The team were brilliant and made sure that everything ran smoothly and couldn't be more helpful, a special thank you to Paige and Rosie, who were both amazing and took care of everything on the day! Friendly, personal and seamless.

We couldn't have wished for a better place to have our big day, we wish we could do it all again!
