We got married on the 18th May and what can we say? Our day was just amazing I wish we could do it all over again. We chose the best venue we couldn’t fault one thing. The staff were so attentive and the food was just incredible. The barn is just so gorgeous. There was one thing we could fault actually and that was time the day went way too quick. The whole planning was just easy and all the girls are so lovely and answered all of my questions promptly. Nothing was ever any trouble. We could not recommend the plough anymore. If I could give 6 stars I would have. As you can see from the photos the barn and surroundings were so gorgeous. I would definitely recommend the plough to any of you brides out there. We had our wedding at the Plough in June and we had the most perfect day. From the very first day we booked with them the staff were so friendly, helpful, attentive and professional. I was in contact with them several times throughout the year from booking and they were always so helpful. On our big day, we couldn't have asked for a better team of lovely people to run our day smoothly and it was the most perfect day we could have wished for. The venue is absolutely stunning, the day was run perfectly with no hitches, and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff were also so helpful to my husband and the groomsmen with setting up the venue in the morning and they all said they were so amazing they were at helping get everything set up smoothly. All our guests commented on how perfectly the day went, how amazing the staff were and how lovely the food was! Thank you so much to the team at the Plough for making our dream wedding day a reality.

The food was amazing! We’ve had a lot of compliments on the food and the venue from all of our guests. We can’t thank the team enough and we’d recommend this venue to anyone wanting to get married. We booked our wedding with the Plough Inn back in 2020, and the entire journey from start to finish has been an absolute pleasure! The venue is just stunning, but the team make it even more special. They go above and beyond to make every second of your wedding planning and of course the day itself, perfect. We were able to be flexible around the package deal, which was amazing as it made our wedding even more personal. The guests all commented how delicious the food was - and it really was! We couldn’t have hoped for anything more. The accommodation was luxurious and it felt special to gather with our guests for breakfast the following morning in the beautiful orangery. This venue is incredible! The service from the staff on our wedding day was truly wonderful they were great and made sure everything went smoothly! The oak barn is beautiful on its own and we chose to only decorate with fresh flowers and it looked perfect!

From booking our wedding to the actual day the attention to detail is incredible.

We went to our pre wedding meetings with lists of questions and didnt have to ask any as they gave all the information we needed.

The barn looked stunning on the day and everything ran like clockwork.

The food was incredible and all our guests said it was the best wedding food ever.

The Plough at Eaton take every couple on a very personal journey. Nothing is too much trouble. You can have as much or as little contact as you wish with the team and they are always respectful of wishes, giving a solution to potential problems.
As somebody who works in events I was very keen to have the wedding running seamlessly, from one thing to the next without pauses or time for the guests to get bored. The team supported this in tailoring timings for our entertainment and flow of the day.
We wanted our wedding to be a room full of love and laughter and the space lent itself to being both intimate and dynamic. I was a little nervous that the room that we used for the ceremony was the same as the one where the food was served but this was turned around quickly and the addition of being able to use the orangery inbetween was brilliant.
We had guests drop out at the last minute but the team took it in their stride and cleared places on the tables without question and even substituted the missed meals with additional wine.
The running of the ceremony was seamless, from the little touches of a glass of water (with a straw!) waiting for me before the longest walk of my life, to the event planner encouraging us to have a moment to take everything in, just the two of us were greatly appreciated.
The upstairs area was perfect for our kids entertainment and this was all packed away the next day ready for us to take home.
The food was stunning with great choice and selection and the buffet in the evening was kept hot so that people could graze.
There is a wonderful atmosphere at the Plough and this is kept magical by the lovely team of local people who keep it alive. From the bar staff to the kitchen, the event planners to the housekeepers. We cannot recommend it enough!

The plough inn made our day truly magical! Laurie and the team made planning so easy, and everything was perfect on the day.

Even the little hiccups that our guests and other suppliers caused the team were happy to jump in and help to resolve them.

Not only was the venue absolutely beautiful on the day, the food absolutely delicious and plentiful but the staff made our guests feel welcome and made sure that they had a great time.

Nothing was too much to ask. We couldn’t recommend them enough to potential brides and grooms! Our venue was by far the best choice we made on our wedding day - other than each other of course!

The Plough Inn was incredible and we fell in love with it from the very first time we viewed it - so much so we put the deposit down there and then to lock in a date! The lead up to the day was more than efficient and every base was covered at the meetings to ensure we knew what was happening and when as well as making sure that we were happy with everything. The day was beyond words and any wedding nerves I had went away as soon as I got to the venue and saw how well everything was being ran. We were assigned Chloe to run our day and she was absolutely fantastic and she made our day, nothing was too much trouble and she was such a calming and professional influence on the whole day. It was all perfect, from the staff, the food, the organisation and price - we couldn’t be happier! Thank you for making our wedding the best day ever!

We were looking for somewhere low budget, intimate and unique and that is exactly what we got! The minute we saw the oak barn we knew it was the venue for us. From start to finish the staff were so welcoming and helpful and they really felt like part of the wedding. Communication was great and they were more than happy for us to amend things along the way. On site accommodation was perfect too as we had guests travelling across the country. We would highly recommend to everyone!!

We had the most amazing wedding, the wedding planner ladies are super, the staff on the day could not do enough for us! Even helping to clear up at the end ! The food was amazing, the kids meals are huge, 2 guest booked for Sunday dinner after the wedding!, only down side we paid for 20 night guest and only 10 came and we ran out off food!. Other than that it was a super day!. Everyone commented on the venue and food and could not believe what we paid !. We hired the dance floor off black labs and did the lights ourselves but some are already on the top beams. Only issue we had was the music stop while the bridesmaid walked down but soon fixed, the poor girl looked so panic it was not her fault, I would recommend having it on a cd we used Spotify and the Internet dropped,we all had a good laugh about it. The rooms are lovely too and a great size. Highly recommended here !. We had a pumpkin wedding cake made by that little cake places sain is based in congleton too shes amazing highly recommended her, no one realised it was cake even the staff.
