Set on the Cornish coast, this historic and atmospheric castle is the perfect venue for a fairytale wedding ceremony or a stylish reception. With panoramic views out to sea, you are certain to enjoy a day to remember. Your ceremony can take place inside the Tudor Castle Keep where tapestries, flowers and candlelight decorate the solid granite walls. The circular grassy "Chemise" surrounding the castle is perfect for an exclusive drinks reception and photographs after your ceremony. Guests can then stroll across the lawn to the impressive Royal Artillery Barracks for dinner, taking in the spectacular view of the Castle floodlit at night, before dancing to a band or DJ of your choice.

      A real dream venue
      Well, I promised to write an update following my wedding reception there in June 07! I have to say that Pendennis Castle was an absolute dream. the staff are so very friendly, the location is excellent, it is unusual and all comments from my guests have said that the thing that made the wedding was the venue! All this and it was pouring with rain. I had to move my planned drinks on the chemise inside to the keep and it was lovely. Amazing atmosphere and cosy with the candles twinkling at a jazz band playing. The Barracks are perfect for the wedding breakfast. Very modern and fresh - not too cold and not too hot! Lovely views out to the castle. At 9pm the weather broke and the guests went outside to see the stunning views. I'll never forget standing with my new husband looking at a bright full moon above the floodlit keep - it was wonderful. Can't recommend it enough - a wonderful place and wonderful staff! some even joined in with the disco!

      I have booked my wedding reception for June 07 here and so far have been very pleased with the service. The facilities in the new refurbished Artillary Barracks are excellent - very nice decor, and an intimate feel. The Castle Keep for drinks is lovely and the views are out of this world. So far I can't fault this venue. But will review further after my wedding day!
