With over 10 years of experience in hospitality and events, I’ve built my career by working my way through the industry and gaining experience across a variety of roles. This has given me a real understanding of what makes exceptional hospitality and, most importantly, how important it is to make people feel welcome, comfortable, and genuinely looked after.

As a Wedding and Events Manager at Tregenna Castle, I feel incredibly lucky to work in such a beautiful and unique setting. I’ve always loved the atmosphere and character of the castle, and there’s something really special about being surrounded by its history, beautiful grounds, and relaxed Cornish charm. I love sharing that feeling with couples and helping them discover what makes Tregenna such a memorable place to celebrate.

I’m naturally a bubbly, friendly, and approachable person, and I love bringing my personality into what I do. Meeting couples, hearing their stories, getting excited about their ideas, and building a genuine relationship with them is one of my favourite parts of the role. I want couples to feel that they can be themselves with me, ask questions, share their ideas, and know they have someone in their corner throughout the planning process.

I particularly enjoy showing couples around the castle and its beautiful grounds, helping them explore the different spaces and picture how their wedding day could come to life. Seeing the excitement on their faces when they start imagining their own celebration at Tregenna is incredibly rewarding.

I believe attention to detail is at the heart of a truly memorable wedding. It’s the little things that make a celebration feel personal — remembering what matters to each couple, understanding their individual style, anticipating their needs, and making sure every element has been carefully considered. My hospitality background has taught me to stay organised, think ahead, and remain calm while ensuring every detail is taken care of.

Ultimately, I love what I do because I get to be part of such an important and exciting time in people’s lives. My aim is to make the planning journey enjoyable, relaxed, and full of excitement, while creating a wedding day that feels completely personal to each couple. And, of course, I get to do it all in a castle that I genuinely love!

One of the most rewarding parts of my role is meeting couples and building genuine relationships with them from the very beginning. I love taking the time to get to know each couple, listening to their ideas, understanding what is important to them, and helping them bring their vision to life. I particularly enjoy showing couples around the wonderful spaces and beautiful grounds at Tregenna Castle, helping them explore the possibilities and imagine how their own special day could look and feel.

My background in hospitality and event management has taught me the importance of exceptional service, organisation, communication, and above all, creating a calm and reassuring experience for couples. I understand that planning a wedding can feel overwhelming at times, and I want every couple to feel confident knowing they have someone experienced, approachable, and genuinely invested in making their day everything they have imagined.

My goal is to create not only a beautifully planned and executed wedding, but an experience that couples genuinely enjoy from the moment they first visit Tregenna Castle to the moment they say their goodbyes. Being part of such an important chapter in a couple’s lives is a privilege, and I love bringing together all the thoughtful details, personal touches, and special moments that create memories they, and their loved ones, will cherish for years to come.

Hello, and congratulations on your engagement!

I’m one of your Food & Beverage Manager here at Tregenna Castle, and I’ll be one of the people helping to make sure your wedding day runs as smoothly and effortlessly as possible.

On the day itself, I’ll be there from start to finish, looking after you and your guests and making sure everything is running to plan. I’ll also be acting as your Toastmaster, helping to guide you and your guests through the different parts of the day, from welcoming everyone and announcing key moments to keeping an eye on timings and making sure everyone knows what is happening next.

My role is to take away as much of the worry as possible, so you can relax and enjoy your wedding. I’ll be keeping a close eye on everything happening around you, making sure the drinks are flowing, the wedding breakfast runs smoothly, and that everything is ready for each part of your celebration.

For me, it’s the little details that make a big difference. I’ll check in with you throughout the day to make sure you’re happy, everything is going to plan, and you have everything you need. If something needs to be organised or a small detail needs taking care of, I’ll be there to handle it, allowing you to stay focused on enjoying the moment.

I’m naturally very approachable and love being part of the excitement of a wedding day. Even when things get busy, I’ll always aim to remain calm, positive, and reassuring. My goal is for you to feel confident knowing that someone is keeping a close eye on everything behind the scenes.

Your wedding is a very special occasion, and I understand how important it is that the day feels personal to you. I’ll work closely with you, your guests, and the wider wedding team to help bring your plans to life and ensure the day flows naturally from one moment to the next.

Ultimately, my role is about much more than food and drink. As well as looking after you and your guests, I’ll be your Toastmaster, your point of contact, and the person helping to keep the day moving. I’ll be there to make announcements, guide your guests, anticipate what you might need, and take care of the little things you shouldn’t have to think about.

My aim is simple: for you to feel relaxed, looked after, and completely present in the moment, knowing that everything behind the scenes is being taken care of.
