Castle Craigard is a beautifully restored Scottish baronial manor and wedding venue overlooking the peaceful shores of Loch Goil in the heart of Argyll. Designed for intimate weddings and unforgettable escapes, the castle offers exclusive use accommodation, breathtaking scenery and a relaxed sense of luxury that allows couples to truly make the space their own. Suitable for small weddings with up to 24 guests, en-suite accommodation sleeps 12.

Micro Wedding in September
Emma from Castle Craigard was essential in helping us make our vision for our wedding come to life. Emma was highly accommodating to our needs, meticulous in her attention to detail and how she approached supporting us with planning and handling the run of the day. Emma liased directly with our vendors and understood what it was we were hoping to create for our day and this was evident in how she collaborated with us and took our design brief and implemented this on the day.
Emma was extremely personable and professional, responding promptly to any queries we had and going above and beyond - even giving us wine recommendations when we had no clue what to get! We can't highlight enough just how much our day would've gone differently if we didn't have her input and guidance and how grateful we were having her involved.
The venue itself was beautiful and flexible in the spaces available for all aspects of the weekend. We had initially planned an outdoor ceremony and when that couldn't go to plan due to weather, we were able to have our ceremony in the chapel as well as it being a space to eat our meal. We were able to host a mixture of indoor and outdoor reception spaces and have our parents small dogs be able to included during our down time. We were able to enjoy the full amenities of the house including the newly refurbished hot tub which was gorgeous in the dark evenings surrounded by fairy lights and use of the complimentary dressing gowns. The kitchen was fully equipped and we had access to the pool table and a TV had we needed to use it.
The local area has a collection of small cafes and beautiful walks. We hired a small boat to drive around the loch which we would recommend as was a lovely way of seeing the area from a different perspective and do some animal spotting!

Emma was an incredible help in the run-up and on the day of our wedding. She was so approachable and flexible when helping us with final planning aspects and on the day made sure that all of our suppliers were organised and that everything ran smoothly.
We are so glad we enlisted Emma's help with our wedding as it meant that we could concentrate on the meaningful parts of the day and making memories with friends and family!
