We had our day at Rose Castle and it was an actual dream come true. Not only is it an absolutely sensational place, we were also so well looked after both on the day and in the lead up to it. Carol took over our planning and was always so quick to come back to us, giving us some tips, ideas, just always going the extra mile to make our day special. She really ensured the day was completely unique to us. Owen arranged the link we sent out to all guests to choose their food, recommended a song etc. This was such a useful way of making sure they had everyone’s food choices meaning we didn’t have to worry about it at all! And it was also so easy to track to ensure all guests completed it. It was an actual game changer! Paul looked after us on the day and what a lovely man he is. He ensured the day ran smoothly and I don’t think we could’ve done without him! Time went by so quickly and he was amazing at keeping us to schedule.

Everything was a blank canvas and we really could make it our own which is a unique feature for Rose Castle. We had the pleasure of being able to arrange our own menu around the food we liked, rather than having a set menu. Being Polish, I really wanted to incorporate some traditional food items into our starters which was absolutely unreal. The whole menu was just a combination of our favourite meals and it was so special being able to enjoy them on our big day, and they were all so delicious.

We stopped at Rose Castle the night before our wedding, just us and our two best friends, and it was so special being able to enjoy the place to ourselves and take it all in before the big day. We didn’t event have to worry about putting all our decor, place names, as the team set everything up for us. The four of us had a lovely breakfast the morning of before going our separate ways to get ready. Carol was with us during this time, making sure we had everything we needed, taking plenty of photos for us as we had chosen not to have a photographer during this time to make the experience as relaxed as possible. She was amazing at keeping us calm, and being such a positive presence.

Everything was just perfect from the moment we arrived the afternoon before until we left the day after our wedding. I cannot thank Carol, Owen, Paul and the whole team at Rose Castle enough for all their help in the lead up to our wedding and on the day. They really are all so amazing at what they do.

We had the most fantastic wedding at Rose Castle, and I honestly cannot recommend this venue highly enough. From start to finish, everything was exceptional!
The setting is absolutely breathtaking. It is a truly spectacular venue, surrounded by wonderful views of the Cumbrian fells that created the most magical backdrop for the day. I felt like a princess getting married in the most perfect castle.
Carol, our wedding planner, was a dream to work with. She guided us through every step with such calm professionalism and genuine care, making the whole planning process feel effortless. Nothing was too much trouble, and she was amazing on the day - frequently checking in with me to make sure everything was Ok. She also made sure that the men from the bridal party were all in the right place, at the right time, wearing the right clothes, with their button holes in straight!
The food was outstanding — the menu was completely tailor-made for us and executed beautifully. Our guests are still talking about it! Every course was delicious.
The whole day felt intimate, romantic, and truly unforgettable.
We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect place to get married and celebrate.

The wedding planner at Rose Castle is fantastic and will do everything she can to make your day perfect. The food was exceptional and was beautifully presented. We were very happy with the wedding breakfast service and the whole day ran smoothly.

Although we had some staff changes and multiple different coordinators which made us feel a bit uneasy, we finally met Carol!

She couldn't have been more attentive if she tried! Settling any worries we had and making us feel like real VIPs!
From then on, anything we could think of, Carol found a way to achieve!

The day went beautifully, the chefs meal catered to our choices was absolutely exquisite! Not a scrap left on anyone's plates! Absolutely delicious!
The wait staff were attentive and friendly also!

The venue is not only stunning inside and out but we had exclusive use of the castle, which our older guests appreciated. If the disco in one room was too much, they could simply feel free to go and sit in the library on a comfortable sofa.

All our guests commented on how stunning the venue was, how relaxed and smooth the day went and how friendly the staff were.

The morning should have been chaotic but for me, it was relaxing and calm. Whenever an issue came to my attention, Carol had already sorted it! Any future brides, really couldn't be in better hands than with her.
Finally, the night before my wedding, my grandfather unfortunately had to be taken to hospital in an ambulance, I was heartbroken he was going to miss my ceremony but Carol had co-ordinated with my videographer to facetime him live! It absolutely meant the world to me that she not only came up with a solution but made it happen! My gramps (and his nurses who watched with him) had the best seats in the house.

From the very start we walked in we were created by Carol and her amazing staff. I’ve been to a lot of weddings but this has to be one of the most amazing weddings we have ever been to. Ben Vanessa wedding Was just magical and will be a memory that we will never forget. From the most beautiful venue, the food was outstanding. I would love to do it all over again. A massive thank you to Carol she really does go above and beyond nothing was too much of a bother and to her amazing staff. 10 stars guys.
