Located just between Harrogate and York, Allerton Castle is privately owned and can seat up to 120 guests for your Civil Ceremony, dinner and hold up to 200 guests for your evening reception.

200 acres of breathtaking parkland and tranquil gardens surround this 18th Century treasure which stands dramatically amongst some of the finest North Yorkshire countryside the area has to offer.

Licensed to hold civil ceremonies, a host of beautiful & enchanting rooms are available for you & your guests to relax, dine & dance in throughout the day – exclusively for you.

To crown the day it is possible to have a spectacular fireworks display, which theatrically lights the Castle & grounds providing a truly extraordinary memory.

For those who don’t want to leave when the music stops, Allerton Castle also benefits from two en-suite bedrooms & a magnificent Bridal Suite allowing you to extend your stay here with us.

The Great Hall provides a stunning entrance and beautiful setting for your Civil Ceremony. The huge log fire & Great Staircase provide spectacular focal points. The Ballroom is the ideal setting for your Wedding Breakfast, it has a superb white fan vaulted ceiling contrasting with royal blue walls. The walls of the Drawing Room, the perfect place to sign the Marriage Register, are hung in turquoise silk. The impressive chandelier is opaque blue Venetian glass. The Billiard Room provides a perfect retreat for the Groom, Best Man & Ushers to enjoy a glass of Champagne, with its full size billiard table available for you to use before the Ceremony.       Dear Sophie and all the staff at Dine, What can we say… thank you so much for our perfectly magical Wedding Day! Your organisational skills, personal service and superb attention to detail were so greatly appreciated and shone through so brightly on our special day. The food and service were both fantastic so sincere compliments to the Chef, his team and the staff.       The whole day was perfect
      Dear Sophie, Just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you so much for all you did leading up to an on the day of our Wedding. At all points throughout the day you or a member of your team were on hand to help our guests and bridal party and I certainly wouldn’t have known what to do without you! The whole day was perfect and I know that is largely down to the efforts that the castle and Dine staff put in behind the scenes. As you can imagine, Matthew and I invested a great deal of time and effort into the planning our big day and it was wonderful to see it all come together so beautifully. The ballroom looked simply stunning; I honestly can’t imagine a more beautiful place to hold your wedding reception! Every single one of our guests was blown away by Allerton Castle and we have had some wonderful feedback. We have really enjoyed listening to everyone’s stories of the day from all the different perspectives, with one thing in common; from guests to bridesmaids, to pageboys and ushers, everyone had a fabulous time. We are just about getting back to normal now two months on but I have the pictures of our amazing day on my digital photo frame so I don’t get too depressed!
