Crown Lodge is a family-run private lodge situated in Boughton Lees, Kent, in South East England. The venue provides a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere for couples seeking a private and intimate wedding event. At Crown Lodge, couples will be able to tie the knot in the charming outdoor gazebo overlooking the countryside. The venue can host up to 90 guests and has an adjacent indoor area ideal for ceremonies needing to be covered from the outside elements. Crown Lodge is a rustic-style cabin suited to all seasons, whether that is a colourful summer wedding or a relaxed neutral colour winter celebration. Guests can enjoy panoramic views of the nearby hills and capture incredible photographs in front of the Scandinavian-style lodge. Our big day
Our big day was held at Crown Lodge and we had the best wedding day! We enjoyed ourselves so much and did not wanted to end the celebration. We fell in love with Crown Lodge immediately and knew that this venue would represent us 100%.
Unfortunately our ceremony could not be done outside and a the little dream of the bride walking down the aisle, getting married in the gazebo crumbled. Although it was sunny and not rainy the registrar decided to do the ceremony inside. I must say, I was very upset about this, arriving and getting this news. I knew this was not the venues decision but still couldn’t believe it. Kylie was just brilliant, she checked in with me, making sure that I was ok and asked me throughout the day many times if I was good and if there’s anything she can do for me. Kylie is an absolute gem and makes the spirit of the venue. Because of her I could actually let my hair down and ignore the fact that I could not have the ceremony I really wanted. Her reassurance was well needed and lifted me up in the moment. I just want to also mention that everybody else who was there and helped did an amazing job and all our guests still mention how amazing all the girls of Crown Lodge was and what a stunning venue it is. We seriously had the best wedding day and things definitely happen for a reason. We highly recommend Crown Lodge ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing venue!
Kylie was great from start to finish.. quick responses to emails & any questions we had. The whole process up to and including the day ran smoothly. All of our guests commented on how nice the venue was! Beautiful views over the downs. Highly recommend.

The Dream Wedding
Kylie and the team went above and beyond what was expected, we truly felt looked after from the moment we first emailed to enquire all the way through to the day after. Our guests cannot stop singing the praises of the venue and location. We were incredibly lucky to have been able to have our wedding and such an incredible venue whilst at such a great price.

Amazing Day
What a place. Fell in love with it as soon as we walked through the doors.

I recently got married at The Crown Lodge in Kent, and it was absolutely perfect!
I recently got married at The Crown Lodge in Kent, and it was absolutely perfect! The venue is gorgeous, with stunning views and beautifully decorated indoor spaces. The staff were amazing, ensuring everything went off without a hitch and making us feel so special throughout the day. The ceremony area in the small woodland behind the crown lodge is breathtaking. Our guests raved about the delicious food and the overall ambiance. I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our big day. Highly recommend The Crown Lodge for a wedding you'll never forget!

Crown Lodge is the perfect venue for a rustic, woodland wedding. The Lodge itself is beautiful- rustic and that real cosy cabin feel. The surrounding trees are an amazing backdrop and the North Downs gives amazing views and beautiful photo opportunities.
The staff at Crown Lodge are amazing. From planning our day, to the day itself- they were with us and shared our vision every step of the way, making us feel relaxed and at ease.
We would definately recommend Crown Lodge as a perfect wedding venue.

We honestly cannot recommend crown lodge enough, Kylie looked after us from our very first meeting at the crown lodge and was just simply amazing from start to finish! The venue is everything we wanted & more, Thankyou so much to you all, Kylie, Stephanie & all you lovely ladies at the crown lodge for the most perfect day x

An amazing day made better by an incredible team at Crown Lodge
Kylie and her team at Crown Lodge were simply amazing all the way through. From the planning stage Kylie was really helpful and very understanding of exactly what we wanted for our day and was always available if we needed anything. On the day of the wedding they went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and made us feel really relaxed and looked after. We had some issues on the day with the (external) catering company arriving late but the team at Crown Lodge were able to get stuck in and help prep and serve the food to keep everything on track even though they were not obliged to do so, they really did save our day. I would highly recommend this venue.

Perfect wedding day
Myself & My husband booked about 2 years ago with Crown Lodge, we went and fell in love at first sight, it's set in a beautiful location and the venue is so peaceful. We met with Steph at the time and she was so helpful, answering any questions we had & providing us with advice and help throughout. We started dealing with Kylie who is just as fantastic as Steph, the ladies both have a very clear passion for weddings and making sure the couples have the best day. They were always on hand to help us.
Leading up to the wedding Kylie was on the ball with reminding us of things we needed to arrange and helping us with getting the final preparations in place for the right time.
On the day both Steph and Kylie were there to make sure nothing went wrong & if it did we didn't know anything about it. They kept our glasses topped up & out guests happy. They coordinated with all of the suppliers to make sure everything was where it should be when it needed to be.
We really couldn't have had a more organised and special day. Thank you!

A beautiful venue, stunning location and an amazing team behind it all!
We had our wedding here in May 2023 and couldn’t have asked for more from this venue! The location is absolutely beautiful, looking directly over the Kent Downs. The venue itself is very pretty, rustic and understated - which didn’t go unnoticed by our guests! We had several people ask us how we found such a lovely, hidden venue in such a stunning location.
Kylie, our designated event organiser, had been amazing in helping us plan the day and made sure everything ran smoothly. If we had any queries, she was quick to respond and gave helpful advise - which is really needed when you don’t know where to start with wedding planning! The staff really looked after us on the day of the wedding and we could see they really genuinely cared in ensuring we had the most wonderful day! We really can’t thank Kylie and the team enough, we feel so lucky to have found such an amazing place to say our ‘I do’s’!

Loved The Crown Lodge!
We loved our Wedding at The Crown Lodge! We originally were meant to be married back in November 2020 but with covid we pushed it back to October 2022, and wow! The Autumnal colour scheme we chose worked so well with not only the season but the venue also. I loved the woodland feel and used that to decorate. Stephanie was great and gave us lots of tips and ideas and Kylie was fun and reassuring and helped us loads when we were feeling let down by family. I would always recommend The Crown Lodge, it’s just beautiful!

Perfect Venue
We would recommend Crown Lodge over and over again for any event, not just weddings. We got married in September in Wye Church and after headed over to Crown Lodge and we had the most perfect day.
From the first enquiry, Stephanie, Kylie and the team were incredible and nothing was too much trouble. The team were so friendly and professional and just put us at ease every step of the way.
On the day they were so efficient and just made sure the day ran as it should, which it did perfectly.
If I could do it all again, I would choose Crown Lodge every time. We wanted a rustic, woodland themed wedding and we felt like this venue was made for us, the amazing staff were just the cherry on the cake!

Amazing venue
Words cannot describe how amazing this venue is. If you wanted a quirky, rustic, outdoor setting but don’t want to have a traditional barn style wedding, then this is the venue for you. Stephanie, Kylie and the team are just amazing. They give you all their years of expertise. They were great at communicating, replying to any email (with all my random questions) really quickly. We had total faith that if anything had gone wrong throughout the day, they would have just sorted it with no fuss. It’s great the venue allows you to bring in your own caterers, so you can do whatever wedding style you want. And the views across the Downs are just stunning. So many amazing photo opportunities. All our guests kept commenting how wonderful the venue is. We couldn’t have picked a better venue, and we actually feel sad that it’s over and we won’t see it again. We would 100% recommend Crown Lodge.

The most beautiful place
Crown Lodge is such a beautiful place. We searched for 8 years for a venue that allowed us everything we wanted, and we had the most magical day. Stephanie, Kylie and the team were just outstanding. They completely understood everything we wanted, no matter how bizarre or out-there, and the day flowed so smoothly. They looked after my husband and I beautifully (making sure we ate and drank too!)
My mum fell severely ill the week before we got married, she was in the ICU and was unable to make it on the day. The team were so understanding, and had we wanted to cancel everything they were prepared to help shift everything they could to help me. Instead we kept the date, and the team made the day so magical.
The views from the venue are stunning, a photographers dream!
The naked tipi was so much fun too, we made it into a “chill-out” zone, which our children loved toward the end of the night and they began to get tired.
The outdoor ceremony area is a beautiful blank canvas, and can be dressed anyway you can think, or left as it is so naturally gorgeous.
Everything about this place is dreamy, our guests were stunned by how peaceful and magical it all was, and we received so many compliments about the day. And so much of that was thanks to Crown Lodge and the wonderful team! Thank you

The most perfect wedding venue!
We recently had our wedding at Crown Lodge and we cannot recommend this venue enough. We had the most amazing day, everything ran so perfectly and it was truly the day of our dreams. Stephanie, Kylie and the rest of the amazing team are simply lovely, ensuring your day just flows without a hitch. The natural beauty of this venue is what makes it so special, the surrounding views of the Wye Downs make for stunning photos. We were able to have exactly the day we wanted; fish and chips, pimms, signature cocktails, space hoppers and bubble wands! Nothing is too much trouble and the entire process was stress free thanks to the amazing team. If you are looking for a wedding venue with a difference, this is the place for you!
