Unique and Unusual Wedding Venues in Hampshire

Rachel was our events manager and we honestly can't speak more highly of her, professional throughout with constant communication and extremely supportive. The venue for us was just perfect, a venue like no other. All the guests was in awe of how beautiful and picturesque it was for our wedding venue.

I cannot recommend Fort Nelson enough. We had the most fabulous day with the most amazing memories. The food and staff were incredible. Love, love this place

Holly and her team were exceptional from start to finish. Excellent communication from the start and always a ‘can- do’ attitude. Everything went perfectly on the day thanks to their organisation. Our wedding breakfast was stunningly presented and delicious! The team are also super fun and lovely to work with. Thank you so much guys, we had the best time!!

Booking the venue was so straight forward and once booked you get given a wedding coordinator we had Laura who was amazing and everything was perfect. They set half the hall up for the ceremony and the other side is set up for the wedding breakfast but is shut off with beautiful wooden room dividers. Then when your off having photos where we had the ceremony was set up for the DJ and dance floor. They have caterers who they recommend, you have to get on a pop up bar but who they recommend is amazing. The area around the venue is absolutely stunning for photos. Laura added little touches which were amazing and everything she done was exactly what we wanted and more. The rest of the staff are amazing. The museum stays open for you till early evening for guests to enjoy and then is shut to allow you to just party. Beautiful venue throughout.

We had our wedding here June 2026 and I cannot even put into words how perfect it was! Ella from the events team was incredible from start to finish, she was on the ball, communicated well and listened to exactly what we wanted. She took the stress away from the evening and nothing was too much trouble. The team on the night including Ella & Sam were amazing, all our guests said what a stunning venue it was, and how fantastic the service was. Honestly cannot recommend this enough as a wedding venue, we wanted something different that would suit our party vibes and this delivered! Thank you Ella & team for the most memorable wedding! 💒

We held our wedding at Marwell, and it was an amazing experience from the very first planning stages right through to the day itself. The whole team were wonderful and guided us through every detail, from catering choices to ceremony room layouts, making the process feel smooth and stress-free. The venue itself is absolutely stunning – a beautiful 13th century hall set within 140 acres of zoo grounds, which creates a magical atmosphere all on its own. It made such a unique and memorable setting for our special day. Our guests all said they had the best time and loved the relaxed, welcoming feel from the moment they arrived through to the evening celebrations. On the day, every member of staff was attentive, kind, and professional. They took care of everything behind the scenes and kept us feeling calm and reassured, so we could simply focus on enjoying every moment. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our wedding and would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a unique and beautiful venue.

We had our wedding reception here in the Halo room and it was fantastic. The venue was well sized for our 80 guests (although it can easily hold over 100). We picked the BBQ food menu and this was amazing; the beef in particular was very tasty. The views overlooking the pitch are fantastic and we also got a Congratulations message for us displayed on the 2 big screens inside the stadium which was very cool to see! The wedding events team are also very friendly and incredibly organised to make sure everything runs smoothly. We are very grateful for the wonderful experience that we were able to have here and would highly recommend.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Marta and the team for making our wedding day a day to remember! From the start Marta was helpful, informative and knowledgeable and she helped plan every part of the day to an amazing standard. Any questions we had she answered in a timely manner and I am just honestly so grateful for everything she did for us. The venue was beautiful and we had so many compliments saying what a hidden gem it was! The gardens are beautiful, the hallway/ stair case looks lovely especially with the sun shining in and the layout of the venue just worked perfectly! I’m so sad the day is over but I will 100% be coming back for future events. Again thank you so much for everything we are all very grateful for all of your hard work!
