St Augustine’s Priory Bilsington is a perfect location for a winter wedding full of atmosphere and charm.
The Priory wedding team were outstanding and made our small family wedding of around 25 guests, the most perfect day, ensuring every detail was planned and implemented to ensure everything flowed like champagne this was a day that will be remembered for a very long time.
A week before Christmas and the main house at the priory which is steeped in history and nostalgia, was transformed into a scene from a Dickenson Christmas card, with roaring open fires, garland dressed banisters and Christmas trees.
Our wedding was held in the very quaint candle lit priory chapel, the perfect setting for a Christmas wedding the chapel was dressed in red with white themed winter flower arrangements, when entering the chapel the atmosphere took my breath away it was so beautiful, the ceremony was intimate and romantic and we couldn’t of asked for anything more.
We choose a simple reception of champagne and canapes, which was hosted in the drawing room and conservatory of the main house, a lovely setting with views across the Priory Estate. Our guests young and old were all made to feel very welcome and our every need was catered including one of guests with special dietary needs had her own menu catered for. We spent a leisurely afternoon sipping champagne in front of crackling open fire, our photographer was able to capture the magnificent setting and atmosphere of the day.
A big thank you to Libby, Zena and Chris for making our wedding day memories a day we will remember for ever.

Just Perfect in every way!
After visiting pretty much every single wedding venue in the area, Bilsington Priory to me was by far the best. I always wanted a Church wedding as I love the feel you get at a Church wedding but I've never really wanted the Religous ceremony so I was ecstatic to find this venue which had the exact look and feel that I had always dreamt of. We was not looking to get married this year and was just at the browsing stage but after visiting the venue and meeting Libby with her relaxed, can do attitude, we booked it all within 5 months and had the best days of our lives!!!

Libby has a fantastic team who went over and beyond for us from the beginning to the very end. Rob who was in charge of the catering and was the Master of the Ceremony on the day was fantastic, his team delivered a brilliant service and the food was amazing! Their in house florist Rachel is such a talented lady and she blew me away with the flowers as they were exactly what I wanted and complimented our theme perfectly. Zena was also very helpful with any general questions and even on the day both her and Libby were at hand to help the groom and groomsmen with their button holes :)
Thank you all for all your help in making our wedding day soo amazing. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves and loved the venue just as much as we did!

A magical day
My sister Vanda married Lee here on 14th Oct 2017. From the day we first viewed the Priory Vanda and Lee fell in love with it and knew it was the place they wanted to celebrate their special day. They anised it all in 5 months. Libby was absolutely brilliant she was so obliging, flexible and helpful, giving advise when needed. Her confident and laid back approach was always comforting when the bride was a little stressful!!!! Nothing was too much trouble no matter how many times we went to the venue or asked questions. On the day Libby and her wonderful team made the day run smoothly without any problems and always working very hard in the back ground. I really do thank them all and would highly recommend this venue if you were looking for a truly magical wedding day,
