Located in Twickenham, Middlesex, Orleans House Gallery is a contemporary art gallery providing the peace of the countryside within an urban landscape for an unforgettable wedding venue. This estate sits on magical woodlands and overlooks the beautiful river Thames between Richmond and Twickenham. It offers easy access to Heathrow and central London.
Facilities and Capacity
Orleans House Gallery offers a variety of event spaces where you can celebrate your day. The Octagon room is full of character and has a rich history. It dates back to 1721, when it was built to entertain Queen Caroline, wife of George II and now sits at the heart of a vibrant contemporary art gallery. The space can comfortably accommodate up to 55 guests for your ceremony. The public gardens leading from the room are the perfect place to host your post-ceremony drinks reception.
If you are looking for a more intimate lunch or afternoon tea party to celebrate your day, the Coach House can host up to 60 guests. There are plenty of beautiful reception venues along the river for larger celebrations. You're invited to catch a boat from the wonderfully quaint pier, situated just minutes walk from the gallery to your evening celebrations.

Perfect in Every Way
We had the perfect big day here and we could not recommend this venue more. Our wedding was in October, and autumnal Richmond is a breath-taking romantic tale. All our guests were mesmerised by the colourful leaves and beautiful scenery on their way in, which set the perfect stage for our ceremony. The venue itself is historic yet ornate, evoking a sense of solemnity with a flair of romance. Leslie was there coordinating the whole event, and she’s superb at doing this job, making sure your day goes seamless and enjoyable. She even helped calm me down just before I was about to walk the aisle.. Everyone, our family, our guests and ourselves, thoroughly enjoyed holding our wedding here and would highly recommend it to anyone!

A Truly Beautiful Place to Say ‘I Do’
A truly beautiful and dreamy wedding venue — the setting, atmosphere, and elegance made our winter wedding feel magical and unforgettable.
Special thanks as well to the admin team, and especially to Lesley. She was so attentive, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Her calm and caring presence meant so much to us.

Couldn’t Have Asked for a Better Day
We recently had our wedding at the Orleans House Gallery, and the entire experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The venue itself is stunning, full of character, charm, and natural beauty, which made for the perfect backdrop to our special day.
What truly made the experience exceptional was the incredible support and coordination provided by the team. Everything ran so smoothly and according to plan, thanks to their professionalism, attention to detail, and calm presence throughout the day. It allowed us to fully relax and enjoy every moment, knowing we were in such capable hands.

A stunning venue!
We are beyond grateful to the Wedding coordinator Kinga at Orleans House Gallery for ensuring our wedding day took place without a hitch. From start to finish, Kinga was incredibly thorough, informative, and always available to answer any questions promptly, making the entire planning process stress-free and enjoyable. Her attention to detail and organization ensured everything came together seamlessly on our wedding day.

Perfect venue, perfect service
When Helen and I saw Orleans House Gallery we were very lucky to have seen the aftermath of a wedding party taking place post ceremony. The weather was fantastic, the interior decoration of the Octagon room was lovely, and the staff were very friendly from the beginning even though we were just walking passed. Since then we knew OHG would be our wedding ceremony venue. The capacity was perfect for an intimate group and the surrounding grounds enabled the perfect spot to cater for our guests. We would do it all again in a heartbeat. Thank you thank you thank you!

Absolutely stunning venue with fantastic staff!
Can’t thank Beverley, Kinga, Phillipa, and all the wonderful team at Orleans gallery enough for making everything so seamless and easy. An already stunning venue is complimented by dedicated and detail orientated staff. We had a huge thunderstorm on the day of our wedding and the team went out of their way to make sure we didn’t even notice the rain! My guests were blown away with the beauty and we loved every second. Thank you so much!

Ceremony of our dreams!
We absolutely loved our ceremony at Orleans House Gallery! The team are extremely responsive and helpful, and our ceremony and champagne reception was run perfectly on the day. The venue is also stunning and really unique. We had many guests traveling from Australia and they were really impressed. Highly recommend!

The perfect place to get married!
We were married at Orleans House Gallery in August 2024.
From booking the venue, the process felt smooth and well managed. We first had contact with Beverley who discussed the terms of the booking and sent us all information we could need about the venue and how the day would run. She always responded quickly to correspondence and was very accommodating when our plans changed slightly. We then had contact with Kinga ahead of the day who really put us at ease, and answered all final questions we had, guiding us through the plan for the day. And on the wedding day itself we were looked after by Lesley who could not have done more to assist us. She was extremely organised and managed everyone really well. She was kind and efficient and we felt very looked after.
The venue itself was stunning and our guests were in awe of the grandness and beauty. Having a smaller ceremony meant it felt really personal and intimate, and we had a lot of lovely feedback on that. We were able to tailor a ceremony that really reflected us, whilst holding it in a stunning setting.
We would not have changed a thing and had the best day ever. We are just sad we can’t do it again!
