Our wedding at The Barnsdale was an absolute dream come true. From the moment we set foot on the picturesque grounds, we knew we had found the perfect venue for our special day. The rustic charm, elegant touches, and impeccable service provided by the Barnsdale team made our celebration truly unforgettable. Every detail was flawlessly executed, from the stunning floral arrangements to the delicious catering. We are endlessly grateful for the dedication and passion of Ellie and the team, and we feel incredibly lucky to have shared such a magical day in such a beautiful place!

Wonderful service , . Wonderful experience. Will be returning soon. So important for hotels to get customer service right due to the high demand for accommodation and high-end event management in this City. Clayton Hotel truly blew me and my guests away and we can’t thank them enough.

Amazing historic building, staff were on the ball and very attentive, food was amazing and reply time was always quick, the team went above and beyond and it was absolutely perfect

Staff were totally flexible in their responses to our many and varied requests of how we wanted our service and reception to go. We held our wedding service at the club and we could not fault the arrangements. This was followed by our reception inside but also outside on the club patio, which faces the open view of the golf course. Drinks and canapés were served throughout. The Wedding breakfast was held In the main reception room followed by an evening disco and more small eats. We had music playing throughout the service starting at the arrival of the bride on site. We gave the disco man ORV a play list containing classical and dance music, he responded and met every request we made. The weather was on our side this day and added to the success of the event, however, we are totally confident that the staff would have stepped up to the plate and produced the service had the sun not be shining. We recommend the St Ives Golf club as a perfect venue for whatever function you may be planning.,

I had the most wonderful wedding day here.. All the staff at HH are so genuine and lovely, Matthew and Jenny who ensure your day is as perfect as it can be, Lou who helps with all your pre wedding panic and is always at the end of the phone for anything, Shirley who genuinely needs a pair of wings, she is a fairy godmother and makes everything and everyone sparkle! Keith who ensured every nut product was removed from the kitchen and even made us little nut free biscuits for our room. If we could do it all over again we would and we’d chose this venue repeatedly. We will continue to find reasons to come back.

My husband and I recently tied the knot at Minstrel Court, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. From the moment we visited in July, we knew this venue was something special. With two ceremony spaces and two dining areas to choose from (all 4 of which are beautiful!), Minstrel Court also has stunning grounds and a lake which provided the most picturesque backdrop for our ceremony and reception. Whether it was customizing the layout of our reception space or accommodating special requests, they went above and beyond to ensure that our day was exactly how we envisioned it. From the very beginning, Minstrel Court were transparent with their costs, leaving no room for hidden surprises. This level of honesty and integrity was incredibly refreshing in an industry where transparency can sometimes be lacking. They worked closely with us to ensure that our budget was respected while still delivering a wedding experience that was everything we had dreamt of and more! A huge part of our positive experience at Minstrel Court can be attributed to our wedding planner, Amber. From our initial consultation to the final moments of our wedding day, Amber was a joy to work with. Her impeccable communication skills and attention to detail made the planning process seamless and stress-free. No task was too big or too small for her, and her dedication to making our day perfect was evident every step of the way. In conclusion, Minstrel Court was the perfect venue for our wedding day. I cannot thank Paul enough for helping us have the most beautiful wedding day possible. The day was perfect, the venue is stunning especially with the scenic views. The food was 5* , the whole service was so smooth and quick. Paul has been such a great help in the last two years when planning our big day and is very approachable. Milsom’s Kesgrave Hall created the most incredible wedding experience for us! From the moment we booked to the day itself we were made to feel special and completely looked after. They listened and took on board our preferences and were able to advise us brilliantly to create our perfect wedding! The star cloth felt magical and everyone commented on how amazing the food was! A day we will always remember so fondly and would 100% recommend to anyone looking for somewhere special for their big day.

The venue is lovely and had personal historical connections for us. Molly kept in touch with us every step of the way and nothing was too much trouble for her. Everything was perfect for us. It could non have gone any better
