We got married at the Hackney Town Hall on 11 July and could have not asked for a more seamless process. My husband and I are both immigrants to the UK and the process was a bit confusing for us so the team helped us understand everything. Our ceremony was beautiful and my friends and family loved the skylight in the North Atrium. It was a special day we will never forget!

We were lucky enough to have our wedding reception at Pedro’s in November 2025 and all I can say is wow! The food was exceptional - genuinely friends are talking about the steak and sea bass still (Jan26); the wine was first class (as would expect at a gorgeous wine bar); but most importantly Pedro and the team made sure that the day was simply exceptional and went without a hitch. My wife and I could just enjoy time with our friends and family - not having to worry about a single thing. They had everything in hand - and looked after the two of us as if our joy and happiness was their number one priority. Honestly, they were just amazing, accommodating and had everything in hand. Also a big thanks to Pedro and team for going above and beyond by taking down the Christmas decorations (they were deep in Christmas party season) to accommodate our decorations. That was epic! If you want a wedding or wedding reception venue, I couldn’t recommend Pedro’s more. Fun and relaxed, yet professional with great food and wine. Genuinely perfect. Thank you Pedro and Team. We got married here in 2023. Everything was perfect and the team made sure the day/food etc was just as we wanted it. Particular thanks to Priya and Eva (Pegasus) for their hard work making our wedding day and lead up so special.

The whole evening was a magical night that us, as a family, will remember for its laughter and fun for years and years to come. We cannot thank you enough for all of your support, from start to finish, on pulling together such a wonderful wedding. Anne-Britt and Marc had the most amazing time and the evening was more fantastic than they ever could have imagined. Every guest was wowed by the Cutty Sark and completely blown away by the evening that unfolded The whole event could not have been the success it was without you and your team for looking after us so well. All your staff were so much fun to have around, whilst still being completely professional, and we can’t thank you and them enough. Everyone at the Hackney worked so hard to craft our reception the way we wanted it. They helped immensely with the planning right from the off, which took a huge amount of stress away, and this approach continued right the way through to the end of the night itself. Thoroughly recommend

We had such a fantastic stay at the Richmond Harbour Hotel for our wedding in July 2022. From start to finish the whole team there were so accommodating, professional and personable. The suite was a great size and we managed to get ready there with bride, 3 bridesmaids, mother of bride, photographer, videographer, hair stylist and makeup artist all fit very comfortably in the room. The hotel is modern yet classic, clean and the spa is fabulous. Just be sure to book in advance if you’d like any treatments.

Coming from South London, we knew we wanted a London wedding, but finding a venue as unique and incredible as Battersea Arts Centre was a complete bonus. We hired the Council Chamber for our ceremony and the Grand Hall for our reception and had the Octagonal Hall for our drinks reception and speeches. The venue is truly like no other, and our guests, along with us, were completely blown away by its beauty. We added some extra decorations to the spaces but the venue itself is spectacular even without them. The lighting, including uplighters, dapple lighting, and festoon string lighting, was done incredibly well. The team at Battersea Arts Centre knows how to highlight the building's inherent charm, creating an atmosphere that is both magical and enchanting. A special mention goes to Mat and their team. Mat was our events manager and our primary contact throughout the process. Their attention to detail was impeccable, and their communication was perfect, making us feel incredibly reassured and listened to at every stage. Mat provided thorough walkthroughs, liaised seamlessly with all our suppliers, and ensured that everything on the day went off without a hitch. Their dedication and skill were evident in the flawless execution of our event. Mat was a pleasure to work with—a genuinely lovely person who made the entire experience enjoyable. Battersea Arts Centre exceeded all our expectations and provided a wedding experience we will cherish forever. If you’re looking for a unique and breathtaking venue in south London, this is it.

As soon as we saw Grove House, we knew it was our wedding venue. We had a few little complications with people leaving and us getting different event organisers, but in the end we got the amazing Lily Barber! Where do I start!? She was on it from the second we met her right up until the end (and even after!) she is efficient, kind hearted and overall just an amazing person aswell as amazing with at her job! Kate We can’t say enough about how amazing Barbara and her team at the Grange are! They were attentive and available during the planning process and helped make it a fun and exciting experience. On the day itself everything was absolutely perfect; the food was extraordinary, the pub and summer house were beautiful, and the service was outstanding. Everything went smoothly and exactly to plan and ourselves and our guests had a perfect evening. I’ve received many compliments from guests about the pub and Barbara in particular! She went out of her way to make sure everything was exactly as we envisioned it, and she was a joy to work with. We’re looking forward to many great meals at the Grange in the future!
