We had our wedding reception at hare and hounds staff and the management provided an outstanding service that made our day very special. Great dining room and outdoor space and the fantastic menu. Would highly recommend to anyone considering the place for their wedding.

We had our wedding reception at the Hare and Hounds last week and could not recommend it enough! It’s a beautiful pub with unique decor and plenty of outdoor space for your guests. We had about 65 guests for our dinner and 20 additional guests for our reception and it felt like the pub was our playground! We had delicious food, and some of my friends commented that it was some of the best wedding food they had ever had. The lion room is air-conditioned, which was really helpful in the summer. We’ve been working with the team for many months to make our dreams a reality, and since we are both from different countries that are not the UK, we had traditions and customs that we wanted to incorporate that the team was respectful of. I think it’s very reasonably priced for the quality and service that you get. To top it all off, the staff, managers, and owners of the pub are incredibly friendly, and responsive which always put me at ease. They always responded to my messages within 24 hours while I was planning. If you want an East London pub wedding and/or reception with delicious food, friendly staff, indoor and outdoor spaces, unique decor and good vibes, look no further!

We planned our wedding in 6 months with 130 guests, people might say that sounds stressful and Peter and Morag made the planning very simple.

They gave really sound advice and worked with us to stay in budget but also not comprise on the guest experience.

The food was incredible, catering for our numbers was no mean feat and everyone has commented on how good the food was.

I cant thank the staff enough on the day Peter, Morag, Gazza and Miguel and the rest of the team couldn't do enough for us and made our day the most special it could be.

Other great things about the team is that they let us drop stuff off the day before and pick stuff up the following day. this took so much pressure off the wedding day so we could just enjoy the day as we should.

We had our wedding here and it was absolutely spectacular! The staff was incredibly attentive and helped us with every single detail , we felt so supported throughout the whole process. The food was exquisite, every guest commented on how delicious it was. The venue itself is beautiful, full of charm and elegance, and created the perfect atmosphere for our big day. It truly was a magical experience. The staff were all so kind and warm, they made us and our guests feel so welcome. I would absolutely host any kind of event here again without a doubt.

The Hare and Hounds helped us have our dream wedding. The function room is beautiful and unique with a statement lion fireplace and a beautiful tree set into the wall. We also had our own private garden area with both open and covered seating shut off from the rest of the pub. The catering was delicious and they were flexible enough to allow us to have pizzas in the daytime and more formal small bites in the evening, though a formsl sit down dinner is optional. The venue, catering and service created the perfect relaxed atmosphere we were looking for and they worked with us on every small detail meaning we were able to enjoy our day stress free!
