Situated along the famous Blackhorse Beer Mile in Walthamstow, Renegade Urban Winery is an especially unique wedding venue. Founded in 2016, Renegade is a London-based urban winery that makes all of its own wine in East London using grapes from all across the UK and Europe.

Industrial and bright, housing a working winery, imposing 1000L steel tanks and French oak barrels, the Walthamstow venue features a stunning dining mezzanine the overlooks the winery, two bars and a full kitchen. The outdoor space includes a reception area at the front of the venue with ample picnic tables and space for a food truck, as well as a secret garden tucked away at the back of the venue featuring a stunning sunset-view of the Walthamstow Wetlands.

The venue can accommodate up to 200 guests standing and 120 seated. Along with our kitchen residency LEO, Renegade can ensure that every wedding party is provided with a delicious bespoke catering menu, whether it's drinks and canapes, a sit-down dinner or street food vibes, we can cater to your exact needs. Wedding guests will enjoy a premium array of drinks, including Renegade's own wines, made right here in the E17 Winery.

The best London wedding venue!

We had our wedding at Renegade Urban Winery in August (2025), and we could not have asked for a better venue and team. The whole process from the start was very calm and relaxed, and Renegade were very flexible with whatever ideas we had for the day.

Tara and the team were brilliant throughout the planning of the event, and on the day we could not of asked for a more professional and helpful group of people. They made what could be a stressful day totally relaxed, which meant we could just focus on enjoying it.

We chose a selection of wines from Renegade, which all our guests were raving about - particularly the sparkling rose for welcome drinks.

A huge thank you to Tara and the whole Renegade team!

Friendly & Flexible Party Venue

We had a great time for our reception at Renegade. It's a super flexible venue who are very open to all your ideas, with no ask too big. Staff were super helpful and friendly both in the leadup, and on the day itself. The perfect party venue!

We loved it!

We recently had our wedding party at Renegade Urban Winery in Walthamstow, and could not recommend it enough! We do not often leave reviews but had such a good experience we thought it was worth sharing. The team at Renegade were so accommodating throughout the entire process, very relaxed but organised, and helped us plan everything (which we left fairly last minute). We relied on them for the styling of the venue as we had next to no decorations, and it looked great, authentic to the venue. They also threw in a few nice touches in the lead up to the day, including adding frozen margaritas to the cocktail menu as it was an unexpectedly hot weekend, and they went down an absolute treat with all guests! Overall we loved the day and venue and of course the wine was wonderful too. Big thanks especially to Tara who helped pull everything together!
