Venue: Melrose Room (ceremony & wedding breakfast) & Jazz Room (after party) We first booked The Bull's Head venue a year before our wedding day. About six months in, the venue was taken over by new management (we were starting to get worried, because we'd received nothing but radio silence from the old team after paying the deposit). But once we were in touch with Karolina, Ben, and the new team, any expectations we had were blown out of the water! They were simply wonderful. Responsive, flexible, and incredibly accommodating. We had numerous questions and amendments leading up to the day which were dealt with and handled expertly. On the day itself, everyone made us feel so special and looked after. Plus, the food was delicious (even our most picky guests were seriously impressed). We couldn't recommend The Bull's Head more. If you're looking for a super special riverside pub venue for your big day - this is the one. Stop looking. You've already found it. Photos by amandawardphotog.com

We hired the full use of Home restaurant and bar after our wedding ceremony. We had a brilliant experience, everything ran so smoothly. The staff were excellent from the outset of our planning all the way through to the service on the day. In particular Apostolos was with us throughout and made the process very simple. The kitchen staff and Head Chef- Bappy exceeded our expectations, the food was superb. Most of our guests said it was the best menu they've had at a wedding. The service was great and evening drinks, venue and atmosphere made a brilliant evening for us and our guests. Thank you so much for a perfect day!

If you're hunting for the ultimate restaurant and private events spot in London, stop scrolling and start booking - Sam’s Café in Primrose Hill is an absolute showstopper. I recently hosted a dinner party in their charming, book-lined basement (think cosy literary salon meets secret supper club), and let me tell you - it was like something out of a dream. Big shoutout to Deji, the Manager Extraordinaire, who deserves a knighthood for his patience alone. I threw every tiny request at him - right down to “can we nudge the napkin a few inches to the left?” - and he met each one with grace, clarity, and a genuinely warm smile. He stayed late to walk through my increasingly detailed vision, never once said “no,” and somehow made me feel like I was the only event that mattered. Plus, every visit came with complimentary coffee or drinks (the kind of hospitality that’s becoming all too rare in London!). The food? Delicious. The drinks? Perfectly poured. The service? Impeccable. The vibe? Straight-up magical. And the location? Primrose Hill, wow. It doesn’t get more gorgeous than that. Deji also worked with us to keep everything within a very fair budget without compromising on experience - which only makes me want to come back and host a dozen more parties. In short: if you're planning a special dinner, private party, or just want an excellent meal in a beautiful space, Sam’s Café is THE ONE. Don’t even think twice. Highly, highly recommend. We decided to celebrate our wedding with 5 weeks notice. We wanted something warm, accessible and cosy. We were so lucky to find the Red Lion's Garden Room and have Clare (the best Wedding Manager)!! Clare helped us choose the right food and structure the day so that it flowed perfectly. I can't recommend the Red Lion & Clare enough :)

We held our reception lunch at Ridley Road and it was the best day of our lives. They were incredibly helpful when deciding on the menu - we had Guinness beef brisket and sticky toffee pudding. We still have friends talking about that food 2 years later! The venue was styled simply and beautifully - we loved how flexible and relaxed it was to have our lunch with our friends. It was so good that we still talk about doing it again! Thanks Ridz!!!

We booked the saloon bar for a a wedding reception following the ceremony at Marylebone Old Town Hall. The staff were amazing and even helped us decorate. It was great value for money and I can highly recommend the drink packages. The food was also amazing! It was an easy booking system with secure payment stages. Beni was extremely helpful with all the arrangements which removed so much stress. The atmosphere was incredible as the space is private and has its own entrance. It was not just the venue but the staff that made this an incredible fun day.

To begin with we looked at some more traditional wedding venues but realised they just weren’t for us. We were looking for a relaxed venue that we could hire for the day and night and realised it was right under our noses. The Perry Hill is our local pub .. and ticked all the boxes for what we wanted .. a cosy, but large venue for our November wedding .. fabulous food and friendly staff who all had our backs.. and were genuinely excited about working the event ! The pub is big - as is their garden so we didn’t have an issue with numbers . The pub has a very large inflatable igloo in the garden which we used as a Photo Booth - the space worked brilliantly …. On arrival guests were handed a drink and asked to direct themselves to the garden for mingling and pictures. We had lots of pre teens at the wedding who ran around the garden and had fun without causing any problems ! The smaller side of the pub was set up for our ceremony - we were officially married 2 weeks previously -so this was not a legal ceremony - but loads of fun! A friend re-married us and we said our vows etc.. got a fabulous group shot of the entire congregation ! Whilst we had a group photo outside the tables and chairs were arranged for lunch .. Phil’s food choice's worked perfectly - for meat eaters and vegans. We had a buffet rather than table service - and the food flowed … everyone commented on the fabulous flavours and variety .. in the evening we had more food - burgers / chips / toasties. No one went hungry ..! We had a band and a disco in the evening ..loads of space for dancing and for those who didn’t want to dance - there was a seating around the other side of the bar for chatting. If we did it all again - I wouldn’t change a thing .. it was a brilliant day - smoothly run - no problems whatsoever. Best bar staff and chefs … Phil and his team were a 10/10 !

Rodney and his team at the Larkshall pub have been absolutely amazing! We hired the mezzanine area foe a party of 27 people for our wedding reception and it was absolutely perfect, the food was divine, the service was spot on and the room was decorated even better than we had hoped. We are absolutely blown away by the service received and would absolutely recommend this amazing place for a party, a reception or even just a great roast dinner. We will be back in a years time to celebrate our first anniversary, I'm sure! Thank you to all the team! 🙏

We have chosen Enderby House for our wedding reception venue and we couldn't be happier. We want to extend our thanks to all of your staff members present on our wedding day. Every single one of you was fantastic and helped to make our day very special. You all made us feel very welcomed and relaxed which we are very appricative of. All of us loved the venue, the decorations, the food and the view of the river and skyscrapers at night! We also want to thank you for letting us have the toast on the terrace, it was a really nice gesture!

Natalie worked closely with us from start to finish, ensuring that even the smallest details were handled with care, allowing us to focus on enjoying our day. The private dining room provided the perfect backdrop for our reception, creating an intimate atmosphere for our guests. The food was exceptional – every dish was full of flavour and they even provided us with a wedding cake which was a delight. Our guests also commented on how delicious the food was and we were very impressed by how flexible the kitchen was in accommodating various dietary needs. Bellanger helped make our wedding day truly unforgettable. We highly recommend Bellanger for anyone looking for a venue that goes above and beyond.
