We got married at Life in July and worked with Laura for just over a year to plan it. We and our guests had the most incredible day and couldn’t speak more highly of the venue, the organisation and the staff. Laura was worth her weight in gold and made the planning process so enjoyable. Before booking with Laura we had been burnt with another venue which had really set the tone and made us wonder what the rest of the wedding industry was like - we will always be so grateful to Laura for completely smashing our expectations and restoring our faith, helping us to create the most amazing day, and be so on it during the day that we didn’t have to worry about a single thing and could just enjoy. We wouldn’t hesitate to tell everyone to get married at Life, and our only wish would be to do it all over again!

Martello Hall is the perfect back-drop for a Hackney Wedding. The team were so professional and took on the role of Wedding Planner and helped steer us in the right direction. The food was incredible & the servoce faultless. Great pricing for a Hackney location and I'd recommend to any couples looking for a venue to host their wedding in this area!

We wanted somewhere a bit different for our wedding day, without losing any of the atmosphere or indulgence of a more traditional reception. We were absolutely delighted with BSK from start to finish. The team were super responsive and organized, the space was absolutely perfect, the energy from the staff on the evening was incredible and so many of our friends have told us how it’s the best food they have ever eaten at a wedding. We would highly recommend!

We hosted our wedding reception at this venue, and it was fantastic. Leading up to the wedding, we had several meetings to discuss how we wanted the day to go. The staff was very hospitable, attentive to details, and eager to ensure that our day would be special. Catherine, in particular, played a crucial role in making our wedding day exceptional. She made everything look beautiful and took excellent care of us and our guests. The entire team was truly fantastic. The wedding breakfast was amazing, featuring a family-style three-course dinner followed by evening finger food. It was a beautiful experience, and we are truly grateful to everyone at the venue.

We held our wedding reception at The Refinery late last August and couldn’t be happier with how the day turned out. Anita and her team were incredibly accommodating throughout the entire process. We opted for a more relaxed, standing reception, which Anita and her team highly supported. The canapés and small food bowls followed by a large charcuterie/mezze table were a huge hit with our guests! Everything went smoothly on the day, and we felt completely at ease, trusting Anita and her team with every detail. I highly recommend The Refinery for a wedding- if we could we would do it all over again!

highly recommend this restaurant. My partner and I wanted a wedding venue that balanced cost without compromising on quality. Bread Street Kitchen Limehouse was perfect for us. The menu was amazing and delicious, the service was impeccable, and the staff were flexible, adaptable and just lovely . We had our wedding reception at the terrace, which offered gorgeous views, and the private room was lovely. We had 30 guests. I want to extend a huge thank you to Rafael, who was in charge that night. He ensured that our guests were well taken care of with wine and canapés during the reception, and everything ran smoothly during dinner. Rafael was charismatic, friendly, and sweet, making our night truly special. Our guests adored him and were very impressed, and so we did. We had our wedding celebration at Lula. We booked the loft and restaurant for this. Positives: The venue is beautiful and needs minimal decoration. The food was amazing; the chef is truly professional and everyone loved it. They redecorated the restaurant section and added a set of couches to make it a lounge, which was beautiful. The staff was very hardworking, professional, and lovely. They provided us with a lounge, a wedding breakfast space and a dance floor. Flexibility with Cake: The bakery was scheduled to deliver and set up the cake at 16:45, but they delivered it at 09:45 instead. The Lula team handled the situation professionally by storing the cake and setting it up at the correct time. They presented the cake beautifully and assisted in cutting it into nice pieces. It could not have been more perfect. The list of available drinks was huge, and they were happy to make custom drinks and bring in different juices if requested in advance. The event manager tried to accommodate every wish we had, and on the day we could not have hoped for more. Most of our guests said it was one of the best weddings and most beautiful venues they had ever been to. Negatives: Food tasting for the wedding menu was not included, which we had assumed would be, but it was given at a 50% discount. We had to sort out the floral decoration last minute, as they had initially suggested they would arrange it for us after providing a budget, but later said we needed to find our own. At times, they were a bit slow to respond, which made us anxious, but after communicating with them, this was resolved, and communication was very swift. In conclusion: Lula gave us the most beautiful wedding we could have dreamt of. We highly recommend them. The venue, the food, the service were amazing, and we could not have hoped for more.

We cannot thank the team at Bread Street Kitchen enough, for all that they did to make our day so incredibly special. Everything, the food, the drinks and the service was beyond anything we could have imagined. We only wish we could do it all over again! They went above & beyond to ensure we, along with our friends & family enjoyed every second. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so incredibly special, nothing was too much trouble and the day was absolutely seamless. The food was wonderful, but what really made it was the friendly, warm & engaging service from the team. It was a pleasure to have them as part of our day. We couldn't reccommend Bread Street Kitchen enough for a wedding - it's the perfect venue!
