We had the best experience holding our wedding reception at The Victoria. We wanted somewhere that was a cool, unique space with lots of character, which is exactly what we got! Sarah was amazing throughout the whole process, her previous experience hosting events and the support she provided with creative and practical decision making was invaluable to us. The venue were flexible to our needs and wants and happy for us to make the experience our own. Would 100% recommend for any size event.

We just got married at Lauderdale House last weekend and had a fantastic time! The stewarding team were attentive and handled all the details for us so we could just show up and enjoy the day. Using the lower gallery for our reception and getting lucky with a rainless day, guests were able to either enjoy the dance floor or sit outside in the gardens, allowing everyone to be comfortable and take in the atmosphere. Lauderdale’s in-house catering through Pink was lovely - we did a buffet and canapés and were able to easily cater to all dietary restrictions. The meal was presented beautifully and received lots of compliments. The space provides a perfect backdrop easily dressed up with minimal floristry, and the gardens were perfect for group and couple photos. Highly recommended for an intimate semi-formal wedding that has something for everyone!

All the staff on the day were amazing at making sure everything run smoothly and made my day amazing. My only criticism was the disorganisation of the events lady who I had most contact with in the lead up to my wedding, changing things last minute that not thought of before or miscommunication which made the planning quite stressful. But all the staff on the day were absolutely brilliant thank you so much!!!!

Laura was our wedding co-ordinator and was excellent. We used Forty Hall’s supplier, Beaumont for catering and décor, and Focus Events for the DJ – and we could not be happier. The arrangement of everything, the room layout and turnaround was seamless. Laura made sure everything was placed and looked lovely. At no point did we worry or have to ask about when something was happening. We didn’t taste the food in advance, but the canapes, wedding breakfast and evening meal – a superb rendang curry which everyone raved about, were all absolutely delicious and superb portion sizes. They managed to cater for all our dietary requirements, dairy and nut allergies, vegetarian and vegan. The DJ took a spotify playlist in advance, the songs chosen by our guests, managed to play everyone’s choices through the evening and the dance floor was never empty. The bar staff were great and also seemed to enjoy the music. I’d thoroughly recommend Forty Hall and Beaumont Catering/Decor. Also Focus Events who provided the DJ.c Definitely great value for money too.

Everything was perfect and the team on site were brilliant – lovely, friendly and so helpful. The food was delicious – the chicken in particular got a lot of love! Zac and the team were really understanding and flexible with the specific needs for our event. A lot of our friends and family commented how nice the venue is and it was absolutely perfect for what we wanted (and especially given a lot more people came than we had anticipated!). Daleys idea to change the area/layout worked really well. The space is great and super versatile. We're looking forward to the next event!

We couldn’t have chosen a better venue for our wedding than Victoria Stakes! From the moment we visited, we fell in love with its beautiful setting and atmosphere. On the wedding day, the entire Victoria Stakes team ensured everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to fully enjoy the day without worrying about a thing. The space looked stunning, and the service exceeded our expectations, making the day even more special. Our guests raved about everything, from the canapés to the main courses, and the drink selection was perfectly curated, with cocktails flowing all night (Jungle Bird was named the favourite cocktail by our guests). A special thanks goes to Shalimar, the event manager! From the moment we started working together, she made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. Her attention to detail, creativity, and ability to perfectly capture our vision were incredible. On the day, she handled every aspect with professionalism and a calm, reassuring presence, making sure our special day was exactly how we imagined it.

The venue is absolutely beautiful and the team went above and beyond to make our day so special. All of our guests said how wonderful the chapel and the experience was, and we all felt very looked after. I couldn’t recommend this venue more!

The Depot was the perfect place to get married! Shannon, Imogen and Magda were so wonderful to work with, and they answered all of our questions quickly, no matter how small and detailed. The entire process was so smooth, and they worked with us to make the day exactly what we were looking for. The day itself was also so smooth - the whole team was amazing and I didn’t once have to think about the logistics. The decor was beautiful, the food was amazing (everyone was so impressed), and the day was so fun. We would recommend the Depot to everyone!

Working with Maja and Adam from Dariana was a genuinely positive experience. Despite our team being new to event organisation and juggling several major corporate projects at the same time, they helped us deliver an event that delivered for our clients, colleagues, and partners. They were organised, calm under pressure, and handled much of the heavy lifting without ever making it feel complicated on our side. We had several last-minute changes, and they adapted quickly and professionally throughout. We also faced an unexpected setback when the original event date coincided with the RMT strike in early September 2025. Dariana immediately offered to reschedule at no additional cost, which we really appreciated. Their flexibility and practical problem-solving made a stressful situation significantly easier. Overall, their support allowed us to run a smooth, well-executed event despite the challenges.

We had our wedding reception here in April 2025. The Little Bat team was great from the start. Due to some last minute venue switching, we only booked with them 3 months in advance, but that was no issue for them at all! The food was a selection of light bites and little meals, all of which were absolutely delicious. The venue was very accommodating for us to have a quiz host come in and use their setup. They also recommended an amazing DJ for us, and the DJ definitely made the night! Really recommend using DJ Limao as well! We hardly needed any decorations at all because the venue itself has so much cool character. The staff were responsive and experienced with weddings. We loved doing our tasting as well, so I recommend booking that with them! Everyone who came (a little over 60 people) told us it was the best night out they had in years. Highly recommend if you're looking for a cool little London venue.
