From the moment we first met Lily, we knew we were in safe hands. Wedding planning can be incredibly overwhelming, but she made us feel supported, reassured and genuinely excited every step of the way.

Our wedding day was one of the hottest days of the year, with temperatures over 30°C and yet everything ran so smoothly. Lily was calm, organised and always one step ahead, making sure both us and our guests were looked after despite the challenging conditions. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.

One thing that meant so much to us was how understanding Lily was in the lead-up to the wedding. Like many couples, I had the inevitable pre-wedding worries and probably sent far too many emails! She never once made me feel like a burden. Every question was answered with kindness, reassurance and genuine enthusiasm, which made such a difference to my stress levels.

On the day itself, she went above and beyond. She arranged for us to use the Portrait Room for our rehearsal the day before, made sure every detail of our décor was exactly where we had envisioned it, kept everything running perfectly to time and somehow still found time to check in on us throughout the day.

Our guests all commented on how smoothly everything flowed and that's entirely down to the incredible co-ordination behind the scenes. We genuinely didn't have to worry about a thing because we knew Lily had everything under control.

What really stands out, though, is how much she genuinely cared. We never felt like "just another wedding." She celebrated every moment with us, shared in our excitement and made us feel incredibly special from start to finish.

Even after the wedding, she took the time to make sure we got our vow books and other belongings back, despite being away on annual leave and then unfortunately being unwell herself. That level of care perfectly sums up the service we received.

We honestly had the best day of our lives and Lily played such a huge part in making that happen. We will always look back on our wedding with the happiest memories and we're so grateful to have had her by our side.

Thank you, Lily, for everything. We will never forget everything you did for us.

We are delighted that we chose grove house for our wedding in May 2026! The house and the gardens are so beautiful and allow for an effortless flow to the day, so you and your guests can really enjoy every moment. Lily, was so helpful in the months before the wedding and the days before and day of and you can tell she really loves weddings and cares so much! I am so grateful for Lily and Ellie in how they made the adjustments I requested so I could enjoy the day, they are flexible, adaptable and full of enthusiasm which is infectious! We had a few guests with limited mobility and would really recommend the venue- and the accommodation on site for this too! Lily and Ellie went above and beyond to listen and make sure the little details we requested were pulled together perfectly and made sure that the day flowed and was executed perfectly- if anything went wrong they made sure to shield the bride and groom from it completely! The venue is dry hire and it’s important to go in knowing how much you need to provide for guest comfort (all drinking water, all fans) - particularly in hot weather. Overall a wonderful venue and caring team, would highly recommend!

Couldn’t recommend Grove House more highly!!! 🤍 We had our wedding here this August and had the most magical day.

We looked at several similar venues across South West London, but we were so impressed by the beautiful space, competitive pricing, amazing suppliers, and fantastic team. Jess, Helen, Lily and Ellie were all incredible throughout the planning process, with brilliant communication and so much support.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning, and we had so many rave reviews from our guests, who couldn’t believe this gem was hidden in the heart of London. We were lucky enough to have sunshine, so we could enjoy the gorgeous garden for photos and our drinks reception, and the indoor-outdoor feel of the dance floor in the evening was a real highlight!

We also loved how spacious the venue was, with lots of different rooms for guests to mingle and move between.

The suppliers Grove House partners with are also top-notch - a special shoutout to Gardenia Flowers and Saffron Catering! The no-corkage fee was truly a lifesaver for our budget, and having day-of coordinators gave me so much peace of mind and allowed us to be truly present on the day, especially as we didn’t have a wedding planner.

We had the most magical day at grove house. All of our guests couldn’t stop talking about how lovely the grounds were and the picnic tables are such a great touch to let people soak up the sun. Lily was my event coordinator and she made sure she understood exactly what I wanted and expected. I got to go and see the venue multiple times in the planning phase and they were all super accommodating. The main thing I would say is that all the team at grove house worked tirelessly to ensure that me and my husband had the wedding of our dreams, yes they are experienced and professional but i felt there was a real personal touch to there hospitality that made me feel like my day was in safe hands. I’m sure there were things that went wrong but I wouldn’t be able to tell you what they were! I can’t thank Lily and the rest of the team enough.

An absolute hidden gem! We had our wedding here in June 2026 and it went fantastically! The Grove House team made sure the day ran without a hitch (e.g. reacting to a break in the weather for our confetti moment) and allowed us to be able to enjoy the day without worrying about logistics!

The venue itself is stunning, with beautiful outdoor areas and plenty of character in the inside spaces too. So many spots for photos and being able to play the lawn games the venue offer meant our less dancefloor oroentated guests were still able to enjoy themselves!

We were extremely delighted that we chose Grove House - all our guests enjoyed the time there and we had a Christian marriage blessing on the outside lawns. Lily and Ellie were extremely helpful. We were very fortunate with the weather on the day. The grounds are beautiful as are the rooms. On our wedding day the reception room speakers had a bit of an echo but fortunately, one of our guests who sang for us had a backup speaker and mic. It would also have been useful if the wedding planners told us where they would be during our lunch reception as we did not know where to locate them given the size of the grounds. Other than those 2 comments, the day turned out perfectly. We would highly recommend other couples to hold their weddings at Grove House!

As soon as we saw Grove House, we knew it was our wedding venue. We had a few little complications with people leaving and us getting different event organisers, but in the end we got the amazing Lily Barber! Where do I start!? She was on it from the second we met her right up until the end (and even after!) she is efficient, kind hearted and overall just an amazing person aswell as amazing with at her job! We love you Lily!

We recently got married at Grove House in October and it was the best day ever. Helen was honestly amazing, from our initial meeting she completely put me at ease and helped with all my questions and requests and also helped with some suggestions. On the day Helen was such a calming presence and I knew I could 100% trust her to manage our wedding (and I’m a bit of a control freak). Everything we both had as a vision was brought to life on the day and we couldn’t have had a better day. The venue and the grounds were stunning and it was perfect being close to Richmond and Wimbledon but felt like the countryside. We would definitely recommend Grove House (and Helen)!

Grove House was the perfect combination of formal yet warm, stunning architecture and interiors, with a good flow of rooms/space for the wedding. The team were so supportive and professional, super responsive and always willing to help. The venue is tucked away near Richmond Park, and it felt very special to have such amazing grounds in the middle of London. Because this is part of a university campus you benefit from very fair pricing, and facilities such as event security.

We had our wedding here in early July and it was absolutely spectacular, we could not fault it! The sun wasn't quite shining (of course... thanks UK) but Grove House gave us such a special day that we will never forget. Jessica, our coordinator, was just amazing from start to finish and made sure we got everything we wanted. It's safe to say that we felt well and truly pampered on the day and all of our guests mentioned how incredible they thought the venue was. Absolutely recommend!

We had an amazing ceremony and reception at the Grove House Roehampton. Jessica and the entire Grove House team went above and beyond for us, both before and during the wedding day, dealing with all the details and making sure everything was just right. We also had excellent service and tasty food from Saffron Caterers, who even set up a bar outside on the terrace where we served Aperol Spritz and other summery drinks. The grounds around the house were beautiful, with guests regularly exploring and enjoying them. We are incredibly grateful and definitely recommend the venue and the team!

We fell in love with the venue the moment we first visited, and our wedding day exceeded every expectation. It was the ideal setting for both our ceremony and reception, and we especially appreciated having access to multiple rooms, as well as the terrace and gardens. The layout gave the day a natural flow, allowing our guests to enjoy a variety of beautiful spaces without ever feeling crowded.

The team’s incredible attention to detail truly stood out. They handled last-minute schedule changes due to rainy weather with ease, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Our guests had an amazing time and couldn’t stop praising the wonderful team and suppliers.

Lucy Paton and the entire staff of Grove House were very communicative and helpful throughout the wedding planning prices down to its execution.
